I visited Tasty Duck on Chinese New Year Eve and had mixed feelings about the experience. While the restaurant wasn't crowded, the food turned out to be rather bland, lacking the flavorful punch I was expecting. On the positive side, the staff was attentive and the ambiance was pleasant. Overall, I would rate it a 3 out of 5. I hope Tasty Duck can work on improving the flavors of their dishes to provide a more satisfying dining experience.

Don’t waste your money this is the most digesting place for Peking duck. The Tianmian sauce is so bad and taste so weird it doesn’t even taste sweetIt’s so disgusting for the price. We ordered the $180 combo and the entire combo taste like expired food. There’s also small clots of sauce in the Peking duck sauce, I’ve ate this dish in so many places never seen this happen before. Not to mention the meat of the duck came in a plastic wrap in the center of random pieces of fried skins. The walnut shrimp was also disgusting. The walnut taste like those dried walnut that was put outside for too long. The shrimps are in small pieces and bunch of them are just fried flours with nothing inside. There’s also bunch of other dishes that’s also disgusting in their own way. The entire Peking duck dish is just bunch of expired frozen food. The soup also don’t have meat only few tofus. If you order entire Peking duck you should get the meat and soup which is made of the ducks bones and contains the bones and remaining parts. This is such a fraud and waste of money. $180 wasted. Never coming back to this disgusting place.

Waste of $180 on a combo. Cold food they definitely microwaved it before the delivery. Also terrible sauce for Peking duck not tianmian sauce. All other dishes taste expired and frozen, like they were all microwaved overnight food. Terrible place.

I came from Beijing, it let me down. As a Peking duck, I just see it’s so so.We ate the three dishes duck. Skin is too dry and oily. The soup has no duck pieces, only tofu and cabbage!!! Also another dish is the sprouts with duck, there’s several less than 1cm ducks in it. Oh my gosh!!!If you want more extra (12) pancakes or green onion, there are $6/$4 more!!! The sauce also need $2 more if you want more, I never saw this before :(

The place was great. We came here after knowing that Jirong was out of duck. It is an ok spot to try. To me, the duck is 4 out of 5. However, this place needs more staffs. There's only one waitress handling to go orders, phone orders and serving the table, so the service was lacking and mistakenly handled. Anyway, good intention and attitude are here. Plenty of parking spaces. Decent price.

Came here on Christmas Eve. Made a reservation for 8. We got two orders of the duck. It was perfectly juicy and the skin was perfectly crispy cut at the right thickness. The pancakes were light and thin. Everything about it was DELICIOUS! We also got some other dishes and everything tasted great. They were super busy and unstaffed but they were still able to get us what we needed. 12/24晚上餐廳超級忙但是每道菜都非常好吃。 我們點了:紅燒肉(太好吃了)北京鴨,小炒肉,無錫排骨,法式牛肉。 謝謝你們的服務。聖誕節快樂。

I have been on a Peking Duck binge lately. I've been to The Duck House and Ji Rong and wanted to see what else is out there. What I love about Tasty Duck Restaurant is that they serve half a Peking duck, which is still way more than one or two people can eat. It was only $45.95 for half a duck, plus it came with the tofu / Napa soup and stir fried sprouts. I'd say it's still enough for about three people. It was also only $6.95 for a dozen extra pancakes. The duck was delicious although I wish it were a little warmer. While I can't say that the duck is *quite* as good as it is at Ji Rong or The Duck House, it was still amazing and at this price it is clearly the best deal for solo or a small group. It is about half the price as the other two places. As you can see from the picture, even half a duck doesn't seem like half the food. It seems like you get like 70% of the duck as you would a whole order, plus the soup and sprouts. Service was fast and friendly. I will be back!
