We go out to eat at this restaurant every 3-4 weeks . We take a long drive from San Fernando Valley. We always enjoy the best quality of the meal.We tried Korean food in Encino, Korea Town and we always come back to this restaurant as the best place.

This is my first time going to this restaurant. My brother and his girlfriend invited me, I was excited trying the food and it was good. However, when my brother went to pay for the food and was heading out, the waiter stopped us. The waiter was upset with us and told us why we gave him a 3 dollar tip. My brother was telling him to get $80 as the total for our food payment, rounding up so we won’t get change back. The waiter got upset with us saying this restaurant doesn’t pay him a lot and the tip helped him, he then forced my brother to give him a 10% tip, which would give him $8 dollars more. This made us feel very uncomfortable due to him demanding more money from the customer. My brother ended up giving the waiter the 10% tip he demanded from us.Like I’m sorry!?? Did my brother do something wrong here? I thought the customer could customize the tips to whatever amount of their choosing, but I guess that’s not the case in this situation to our disappointment. I wanted to speak with a manager in regards to this waiter’s entitlement that works at this restaurant but I didn’t see anyone. I only saw the waiter (who stopped us) and the chef. This was yesterday (Tuesday) 12/13/23, around 3:15-3:20pm.

I haven’t eaten here for a long time. I went that day and the service attitude was super bad. I ate alone for 35.45 and gave me 40.The waiter thought the tip was not enough and asked me for more tip. So I asked him if there is any rule in the store about how much to tip? I said to call the boss out, and he also said that he said the boss was really bad.

The place hired super servers to attend to all customers’ often alone. Good portions on both the main entrée and side dishes. Vegetarian options are available. The cold noodle salad was big enough for four as a side dish and two as a main course. Full and satisfied dinner.

Service great, kind and clean. Highly over priced, food not worth $5 a meal, even rice is overcooked and dry.

Saturday lunch time, only one waitress working in the entire restaurant. Needless to say everything was slow. We sat by ourselves with no greeting and no menu presented. We walked out without ordering after waiting 10 minutes

Heads up the service is good, but there's only one person on staff for front of house. This usually makes the wait time pretty long and it's much worse when there's a full house. The sides 5/5: it's literally the best! I like the potatoes and the warm fish cakes the most. Spicy cold noodles 4/5: I've had better, but this place is still pretty good. If you're craving spicy cold noodles, it'll hit the spot. Bulgogi 5/5: I don't really like bulgogi, but this was pretty good. Everyone at the table really enjoyed it. Tofu soup 5/5: I've tried almost all of them and they're all really great. I do like the seafood tofu soup the most. I've gone here several times and really enjoy my experience. Im a bit biased, since it's near by and I can go when it's not too busy. I can see how it would become frustrating when the wait is too long.

My Honey and I came here for late lunch/early dinner. We ordered lunch specials Seafood and Beef Tofu soup, Dumpling Tofu soup with Beef, Hot tea, also served with rice and Korean condiments! Note the Tofu soup and rice are served VERY HOT! Raw egg should immediately added to the BOILING hot Tofu soup! Our food tasted great!!!

Went for lunch - good value for under $15. Inside is a nice traditional decorated, not like a fast food jam every one in cafeteria style. Worth trying if you haven't yet.

The galibi is nice and thick here. They also gave lots of vlams int heir clam soup, mine had more then 10. The bimbimbap is ok. A strange choice of adding Chinese spinach. They gave a good amount of sides, the side a a bit salty in my opinion, didn't have a fave side. Their hours have been updated to close at 7:30pm likely due to lack of workers.
