last night was our first time we went to this place. But It is surely not the last. We had great time with the excellent service, with the superb cooking and booze and with the honest pay. We will definitely return there again.

Omg the food here is adorable!! People definitely come for the cuteness though. I ordered the hello kitty curry rice, truckload of sweet potato fries, and steamed red bean bear buns. The hello kitty curry rice is definitely the cutest curry I've seen but the curry was just mediocre. The rice was very dry and stiff which probably made it easier for them to make the cute characters. The sweet potato fries is the best I ordered. Not the best but not bad. It came loaded onto the back of a toy truck. The steamed red bean bear buns weren't that great. They tasted like those frozen red bean buns you buy at Chinese markets. There was barely any red bean in them and the bread was dry and hard. The bears were adorable though. The water cups were cute too! They had little animals inside the cups. The photos were worth it though haha probs won't be back again though.

I came here because I saw they were advertising they have hello kitty and pikachu curry rice before. I guess there was a copyright issue because when I visited, they removed that from their menu. Instead they had regular cartoon curry rice which was cute as well. To be honest, you come here for the looks. The taste wasn't bad, but it was very average. Since they had to mold and pack the rice into a cartoon shape, it was one of the worst rice that I've ever had. Sticky, stiff and mushy. My friend ordered a sparerib which wasn't half bad. And we also ordered the egg yolk custard bun with cartoon character on it. We were debating if we should order the bun with a pig, but it's peanut flavor and we know the egg yolk custard bun would taste better. We liked the custard bun. I ordered a pineapple tea, to my surprise I actually saw them blend it with a real (can) pineapple. All the dishes are cute here including their water cups. If you come here without expecting good quality food, then you will enjoy the cuteness this place has to offer.

We came here because someone wanted to come here because another Yelper posted a picture of a Hello Kitty dish. Not my choice at all but went anyways. To our dismay, when we got there they no longer do the Hello Kitty dish but we stayed anyways. We ordered the beef noodle soup, chicken curry, seafood noodle, and spicy beef noodle soup. All were average. Nothing special. Portion was okay too. I was full for the whole day and almost forgot to eat dinner. Service was okay too. Since we were the only ones there. A family came when we left but there is usually no customers. The place is tiny. It only had 6 tables where 4 only seats couples. Parking is in a shared private lot with the other businesses in the plaza. The spots are compact though it doesn't say it is. I wouldn't come back here on purpose. I can get the same food closer to home or the office.

Cozy little restaurant with cute food. I'd give them 3.5 stars. I think they only make cute faces for the curry rice but they had changed the characters...so we settled for the bear since they didn't have Hello Kitty. We tried a few things: Egg yolk buns - cute too and pretty tasty French fries - came in a cute mini shopping cart Eel rice - came on a giant pineapple platter with about 3 different sides, not bad Curry - the bear was cute but probably wouldn't order it again Unicorn drink - pretty, tasted like yogurt lemonade tasted okay... Milk tea - nothing special Overall, it was a nice experience and all the workers were quite friendly. My niece enjoyed the cute and creative food items. I would come back to try other items or just for the appetizers.

The concept was good. But, the food was less then mediocre. I came in here with my wife and daughter after hearing of Victory Kitchen. They were looking forward to eating Hello Kitty. We had a short wait until they seated us at the counter. They gave us water in cups with a plastic animal in the the cup while we were looking at the menu. We eventually ordered a Hello Kitty curry and their house special pork ribs. The Hello Kitty Curry was cute according to my daughter. Cuteness aside, the curry was tasted like it was something that you could purchase at a 99 Ranch Supermarket. My wife was disappointed that they put hardly any chicken into the curry. Perhaps they didn't give a lot of chicken because the chicken would've messed up Hello Kitty's face. Whatever the reason, my wife was disappointed with the curry. The House Special Pork RIbs was interesting. Never had I seen ribs that looked like that. They weren't baby backs, nor were they anything resembling ribs. The "ribs" came in a cute container and was like a soup. However, the soup was so salty that I could not drink it. The "rib" meat was as salty the broth. It was almost inedible. The service was good and nice. But, the niceness is not going to rescue them from 2 stars, because yes, I have experienced better Curry chicken. Come here to enjoy the cuteness. The food...if it was only as delicious as it was cute.

The food is soooo cute!!! Pikachu curry rice, yolk è Ÿç†å°æ–° buns, red bean bear buns, and red bean pig buns!! Get the chocolate milk in the toilet, YES, it's weird. Just get it. You won't regret it. Shhhh... Nice place to catch up with friends or probably solo since there's so much to enjoy. I'm quite the person that enjoys decor/themes. ^___^ The staff peepz are nice too.

Worst experience to wait for 20 min and call three staff just to get water!

3.5 Cute presentation and mediocre food, but I'd recommend a try if you love the food aesthetics. We had the: -Hello Kitty curry: adorable! The curry was just average tasting -Japanese hot pot: This was the best dish we had here, the soup was pretty flavorful and I love how they served it in the bunny dish -Short rib soup: The ribs are huge and kind of hard to eat, I wouldn't recommend this one. -Bear buns: was ok -Character egg yolk buns: the egg yolk wasn't runny, I wouldn't recommend this unless you like the character they decorated with. Price: $ CASH ONLY Parking: street Service: food took a while, but they were friendly

This place reminds me of a much cheaper Chinese version of Barton G in Los Angeles. Mediocre food and While they don't have Marie Antoinette cotton candy hair, they have a Hello Kitty face in curry, and black sesame ice cream in a plastic toilet bowl, bon appetite! Is cuteness the way through a girl's heart? Most definitely! Came in with a group of friends and enjoyed all the cute decorations and cute food design. We ordered all of the cute items to share. They have cute accessories that complement their food, like the cute water cups, cute seasoning, salt and pepper shakers, etc. Too cute to eat, literally! While the food is kind of mediocre, the cuteness made it worthwhile for pictures. Lol. They are most famous for their Hello Kitty Curry chicken rice plate. They mold a Hello Kitty face with rice. They have the exact same one with Pikachu's face on it too. As for the Curry, it was mediocre. Frozen and instant curry tastes better than yours, PLEASE change the recipe, you have so much potential! Don't let the bland watered down curry ruin it. Another overwhelming cuteness favorite item of mine was the Red bean Little Piggy buns/ baos. Comes in 3 pieces in a small bamboo wood steamer. XLB and dumplings was ok. Nothing special about them, it actually tastes frozen packaged. French Fries come in a small shopping cart, and Sweet potato fries comes on a cute green truck. These two was fried to satisfy your fries taste buds. Beef stew served in a Panda bowl and rice is good. The Panda bowl is just too cute! Popcorn chicken plate and chicken roll plates are served in a big wooden Pineapple plate along with rice and some veggies sides that are bland and tasteless. Bring the kids, they will be happy! The restaurant is very small with about 5 or 6 tables, and if you come around peak hours, there may be a wait. Free parking garage. Cash only!

Hello my Yelpies, First time here. First thing first CASH ONLY!!!! I didn't notice it was cash only so I had to run to the bank in the middle of my dinner. BOOHOO!!! Parking here is not too much of a problem. They have a parking lot right behind so if you're lucky enough you won't need to take up too much time to look for parking. One word to describe this place "CUTENESS". Everything in here is adorable, from their water mug to their curry rice. The seating is small, very minimal tables so if you come on around dinner time then you may have to wait for a bit. The food is okay. I personally believe this is more of just an experience to see the cute decor than an actual delicious meal. I gave it 3 stars is because I order the Pikachu Curry and it tasted like the packaged microwave curry. I know that is because I ate the exact same one for 4 years in college, so without a doubt, i know the taste right away. I wish I could have the chance to tried their drink, but after trying their meal I'm a little worried on how the drink will taste. This place is more of enjoying the environment and cute decorations than actually enjoying a delicious meal but I don't regret coming here because I can't get over how adorable this whole place looked. Service was great, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. So definitely 5 stars for their service. Overall, 3 stars for food and drinks, 5 stars for service, 5 stars for environment and decoration.

I've seen this place pop up on Yelp - new boba shop that offers ridiculously cute decorations and captivating food designs (designed to lure the children), so of course I was intrigued. Victory Kitchen is relatively new - located on San Gabriel Blvd in a not so popular plaza building. Their storefront is pretty small - with only about 4-5 tables and bar seating. Yet the menu seems to draw in customers. Seemed like the food wasn't the best, but my friends and I still wanted to give this place a try. From the moment you sit down, you're served water cups that have these ceramic animals inside them. Cute spice shakers are on each table, and even the design of the small restaurant is quite whimsical. Menu is pretty basic - they have a variety of teas and drinks as well as several food item dishes. Prices are not too outrageous; drinks are only 1 sized. Order at the front with the cashier, and they'll bring your order out when the food is ready. Steam pig bun: $3.50 for 3 - while it looks cute, it's not something I'd order again. Very basic red bean buns that were probably steamed from frozen buns before they added some decorations to the top to make them look more appealing. Taste was just okay; red bean paste was sweet enough, but you can honestly buy these at the grocery store and make your own. They no longer serve the bear buns, but I think they're working on new character buns. XLB: $8.50 - I was able to try this, and I thought the taste was okay. I don't think I'd order this again when you can get legit XLB at stores that specialize in them, but they weren't too bad. Skin was a bit dry. French fries/sweet potato fries: French fries are $3.75 while the sweet potato fries are a dollar more. They're served in cute car/cart transportation serving utensils. They actually give a good amount of both items. Can't really go wrong with fried foods; the sauce that comes with the sweet potato fries was a bit weird, but overall these items were pretty solid. Popcorn chicken with basil: $4.95 - I was a little disappointed in this. I felt like the breading was too soft and oily and definitely not crispy enough. The overall chicken pieces felt rubbery and didn't taste too good. They have the spices in small containers on the counter, so you can add the desired amount of spiciness, but the taste of the chicken just wasn't there for me. Chicken roll with rice: $9.25 - This was interesting - chicken wrapped in fried/crispy tofu skin. It came with rice and the side dishes: egg and tomato, some veggies, and mixed vegetables. I thought the chicken roll was actually pretty tasty. Price is a little high, but with the crispiness of the skin, it made for a pretty good dish. Of course we ordered the curry rice dishes with the Hello Kitty and Pikachu faces. I didn't eat any, but I heard it was decent considering the gimmick of the faces. Boba green milk tea: $4.25 - it was not too bad. Boba was chewy although it didn't have the sweetness to it that I like. I asked for less sugar and ice and still thought it was pretty tasty. Could taste the tea and the milk, which I liked. tl;dr - Wish they would expand the restaurant or something because it's currently very small. With people ordering food and drinks, there is most likely going to be a wait. They close in the middle of the day to prepare for dinner service after lunch, so watch out for that. Cash only. There's street parking as well as parking inside the plaza. Probably would return just for a drink if I ever decide to come back.

Cute, cute, and MORE cute! This place is seriously cute overload. From the bao to even the water cup. I think that was their concept. Just making everything cute. I won't lie, I only tried This place because it was adorable! Reading the reviews, I already figured the food isn't great which was true. The decor and everything is just cute but as for food, it's not the best. The pikachu curry rice was ok. Rice is dry. And there isn't a lot of rice compared to the amount of curry given. I ordered their special pork stew (I think) in the panda pot. The pot was cute. The pork is good. (I think out of everything the best) but it was also kind of bland. My friend and I also decided to get the day special bao, but that was a disappointment to me. Service was good. They seem to be attentive to their customers which is good. Parking is ok. This tiny restaurant is located in a building with the worst in door parking structure of all times. It's small and crowded and just the way the structure was built is weird. Overall, this is a good place to come if your like me and just love cute things. It's good to try once but not often. P.S. Cash only! So make sure youu bring cash!

Cute food, cute decor, and friendly service. Too bad it ends there. Not very busy on a Saturday night and we came an hour before they closed (9:30pm). Parking is around back. We ordered the pig red bean bun, pikachu curry rice, french fries, popcorn chicken, and salted egg custard bun. We weren't sure what to order and the waitress did a good job recommending us stuff that wasn't on the menu yet. Food was definitely cute and adorable. No disappointment there, but you can literally just buy everything from a grocery store and DIY it at home. Curry tasted like the ones that come in brick form, the buns tasted prepackaged, and fries seemed frozen. Nothing tasted bad, but it wasn't amazing either. Good experience and they idea is great, but it's probably just gonna be a one time visit for me. I would definitely recommend it though.

Before I begin, CASH ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And also cuteness over load!!!!!!!!! I wish this was more obvious before I walked in. A sign on the door would be best. It's inside the store behind the counter but it's so easily over looked. It's located in a plaza in San Gabriel. The seating is small.. Very minimal tables .. The restaurant is like a narrow hall in a way. The wait time was none at 2pm on Monday. Interior design is super cute. They pay attention to a lot of details. The outlets to plug things in had doggies on it. Hello kitty clock and cat themed things totoro stuff. Adorable complementary water. The cups had a panda, ducky and doggie swimming inside. A sakura bowl for my chicken, and truck for my fries. Chandeliers looked pretty and the music was all instrumental. We were seated quickly and given water very quickly but the waiter forgot to give us a menu kinda just sitting there wondering when it was gonna come out .. So we flagged down another waitress to give the menus. Also id like to suggest that the waiters should be a little more attentive when removing empty dishes or refilling empty water. You pretty much gotta flag down the waiter for these things or for the check. Anyway I rarely carry cash. I only had $10 on me. This place is similar to other cafe's, so I was kinda confused that it was cash only. Because it was cash only and I was unaware , I only bought the pig and bear bao for $3.50 each. You get 3 buns per plate. There was no description as to the filling so.. I was assuming it would be either pork for the pig one or maybe egg custard that oozes out when you bite into it. Both wrong it was just red bean paste. Both pig and bear were red bean. Kinda disappointed. Ordered the two different ones hoping for a different flavor for each. I mean, it tasted good but just not what I expected and no description. You could ask the waitress but that's kinda the point of a menu, to have descriptions. So anyways , it was a cute snack. Price was ok. I came to order so much more later for the photos and experience but the cash only thing killed it for me. Came back anyway, around 7:30pm and there's luckily a spare table for us. Only 6 tables total. Kinda disappointed that the bbq pork (#1) is sold out by 7:30pm. The ice cream too. the waitress showed us egg bao that's not on the menu so we tried it for dessert. The hello kitty curry was delicious. Filling and adorable!! The spiciness was mild, and the potatoes were my favorite. The appetizer we got was sweet potato fries. They were mildly sweet which I really liked and came with an interesting sauce. The popcorn chicken is similar to most cafe's, but they have a cute dog shaped salt shaker, that has the spicy powder, allowing you to make your chicken spicy, or not at all. The wonton glass noodle soup was good, like most places. Just the price for the portion size is kinda meh.. $9 i think. The Xiao Long Bao was juicy and fresh. You get 10 of them. Dessert was egg custard bao with Crayon Shin Chan on it ^^ and also the service was just alright. Kinda soft spoken and awkward on the first visit. But during the evening a different person was more loud and friendlier. Overall I was happy to try this place out. The location was really close by so it's hard to look past it. I am a s***** for all things cute. Always. But i don't think I'll return because it's cramped and I tried mostly everything for the cute experience.
