Excellent authentic Japanese izakaya restaurant. The biggest saba (grilled mackerel) I've ever seen! Huuuuge. I had the katsu - excellent. My daughter had the BBQ beef skirt teriyaki and I tried a piece and it was delicious. Service was awesome too. The couple who I believe own/run the place were super nice and gracious. A big TV with NBA basketball on - what more could you ask for?

This is the best sushi I have ever had and I have eaten A LOT of sushi. Not only the freshest fish but the flavors they added, wow. Service was also amazing! Everyone was so nice! I've been twice now and will be back frequently as this is now my go to sushi spot.

We were craving sushi and this is the closest thing to my brother new place so we gave it a shot and I'm glad we did. This is such a cute place. There was no wait time so they sat us down right away. We got 4 different rolls and all were very good. The service is also great here, Daniel was our server today and he was very attentive and helpful when ordering something that would be okay for my brothers strict diet.

Came here twice within the week for their sushi omakase and both times it was delicious.

Although every time I've come there's no crowd and I'm worried they'll one day close this location, I've been here so many times now... will continue to sing my praises. Most recently I tried something off the sushi menu, their Korean Short Rib Nabe. The broth was the perfect balance of rich and clean, it hit the spot. I was so excited when the short rib meat fell off the bone, and plenty satisfied with the quality and tenderness of the beef too. I'm never gonna tire of their omakase quality and flavor combos. Their lunch specials are so worth it as well.

Been here twice now and so happy to have found our new local go to sushi place. Service is always so nice and they have quality sushi. Great for groups as we came with a group of 20 and they were so accommodating. It's difficult to serve such a large party and they did an amazing job serving our food quickly and provided great service.

This is our go to! My husband & I really enjoy eating here! Great atmosphere, the service is amazing! The owners are very friendly and connect with all of their customers. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area! Everything we've ordered here has been amazing! We love the spicy edamame and the crunchy rolls but we've tried a few other things and it's all been very very good!

Type of venue: Japanese Izakaya Venue Access: Good; located in a dining strip mall with okay access to a small parking structure and hit/miss street parking. Time of day good for: Lunch/dinner Wait time: Great; party of 3 on a Saturday for lunch (12:15pm) were seated instantly. Service: Good What was ordered: Kushiyaki lunch set and chicken karaage appetizer Does it taste good: Yes Any grievance: No Price/Performance: Kushiyaki lunch set is fine, but the amount of chicken karaage was slightly disappointing for the price. Did I get a stomachache after eating here? No Would revisit? Yes Additional Notes:

I ordered sushi and sashimi combo lunch and were horrible. I honestly don't know how the restaurant get the rating online? It's worst than the Costco sushi. When I opened the box after arrive home, the sushi and sashimi pcs were alike. It's not fresh so must be whatever they try to get rid. Normally a sushi set would include a pc tuna and salmon. There's were no salmon. 1 pc were tuna . 3 others same fish but I do not know what it is but looks like saliva on surface which seems to be out for a long time. Sashimi were same fish. Then tempura. Hah, they were not fry using tempura power, but flour. It's hard and cold I have problem chewing it. About service... I called in ordered was told ready in half hour. Upon arrive, I ended up waited 45 min from time of order. And I'm the only order in store. No one else. Then when leaving I noticed soup were missing. I returned then waited another 5 min for soup. Chef apologize and I told him I actually wanted cancel refund to me and leave. Because by that time. The sushi were on the table for over 30 min already.... Waiting tempura and soup which were delayed. I honestly don't know how this is a Japanese restaurant. Chef were Chinese. Both service and food were bad and aged. In this ongoing covid time, is it safe to allow food to be served to public?

I stumbled across this place on my way east from an event in Los Angeles. Excellent service. The food is the best I've had ever. Sushi is very fresh, well prepared and presented. Serina, the owner,I think, was very attentive and delightful. We will definitely be visiting when we are in the area again.Vegetarian options: Mant vegetarian options

delish! daniel was our server and he was excellent. my chirashi was so good, as was our miso. hubby LOVED the tempura and complimented it highly. his miso(??) salmon was perfectly cooked, too. my only critique would be that the sushi rice was slightly hard and kind of pricy. parking is easy and free. in the cvs plaza, in the corner.

Ordered a few sushi rolls to share. They were all pretty standard. I enjoyed the premium rolls more than the classic rolls, although nothing really stood out. My only major complaint is that the rice was not sticky at all, so the rolls would fall apart. Freshness of the ingredients seemed fine. Our server was friendly.

Honest review here... I really wanted to like this place with all the positive reviews but it fell a bit short, at least for the lunch specials ordered. 3.5 for food but 4 stars for nice service. Quality is the biggest room for improvement.- Sushi plate: Rice leaned a little hard. The spicy tuna handroll's seaweed was also a little tough to bite off.- Chicken and beef teriyaki bento lunch specials: Both beef and chicken weren't as tender as we hoped. A bit tough due to overcooking. Portion was acceptable but I can find similar places that do a better job. Service is very nice and it's a casual spot, so definitely fits the bill as a neighborhood joint, but I could find other similar places like Ichima that have good quality if you're looking for bentos. The menu is very extensive, but I'm not sure if the sushi quality of what I had convinces me to try the omakase section of the menu.
