The food overall was delicious! We ordered the beef roll wrapped in scallion pancake, daikon cakes, juicy pork dumplings, and beef sandwich. The bread for the sandwich was a bit dry. Definitely recommend the pancake instead. The beef and the scallion pancake had great flavor. The daikon cake was tasty as well. Slightly oily but expected bc it is fried. The soup dumplings were good. Be careful when removing from the paper bc it was delicate and can tear/lose the soup.

Taiwanese food, I ate rice balls that I haven’t seen for a long time, and all kinds of soy milk and tofu curds are good.Although it is not easy to come here once, it is worth it.

Decent Tawianese food! They got me caring about Rice Rolls again (and at my low carb age!). Order and pay via QR code. Grab your sauces, utensils and napkins from community counter. Server will bring out your items. You can ask for bowls/plates. I listed below what I'd try again and what I'd skip every visit:What I would try again:- $6.50 Salty Rice Rolls with pickle. Soft, not overly thick on the rice. The pickles really made the roll. Unsure how other ingredients would taste like but we both are accustom to pickles in ours. Their purple rice roll was sold out by late afternoon before closing on a weekday. An item I stopped ordering after a certain age...where carbs you eat can add up a roll of fat on you within the same day. This is a great hefty snack to bring on a hardy hike though.- $6 Egg Omelette. Typical. If it's consistent like this then it's a normal just dish for many Taiwanese breakfast goers.- Free House homemade garlic light sauce was sweet and memorable. I can see why my friend had me try it.- I guess soy milk $2.95? I'm no longer a soy milk drinker so it's difficult for me to determine. I don't normally order this and rice rolls anymore for breakfast. But they go hand in hand for me.- $6.50 Beef Sandwich. It was decent. I can't remember if it's worth getting again but can be a lighter option vs rice roll.Okay Items:- $13.95 Beef Noodle Soup. Was decent. The broth felt clean, not overly heavy salty or savory.- $7 Pigs ear was tasty but pieces were fragmented.- $29 frozen xiao long bao. We bought the frozen xiao long bao to try at home. It was decent. Not my favorite but okay. SO didn't like the gel-like or what I call mochi-like texture included in theirs.Would not care to get again:- Wonton Soup. The soup broth was flavorful. Wontons were okay.- Diakon reminded me of a hash brown. But it was dense, and grounded finer than what you'd find at dim sum. I'm okay with no ordering this again.- Seaweed was packed but no flavor? Not something I'll order again, unless they add some more taste to it.- Many reviewers had a horrible experience with oyster omelette so we just cancelled that out of thought.First visit was with a friend who didn't really pick much of the normal breakfast I'd order. It was nice trying a lot of items I don't normally pick all the time. But definitely wanted to come back to try other items. This place reminds me a bit like the Dean Sin World (Shanghainese) with frozen goodies and pastries. I loved their xiao long bao but the maker changed, and it's not longer my favorite. It's a different style China vs Taiwanese. Yi Mei has Taiwanese versions which has a different texture and size.Looking forward to trying other items next time.

Great purple rice with fried Chinese doughnut. Ordered a hot soy milk with no sugar. Decent Taiwanese eatery. Will be back.

I tried to make fan tuan at home but it's just not the same lol. Did I drive to San Gabriel to order from here? Yes. Purple rice roll ($6.75) - the purple rice had a bit of a chew but not unpleasant. Love the amount of pork floss however I felt there could've been pickled cabbage. Stewed pork ears ($7) - clean tasting with lots of spices! Tasty either warm or cold.I regret not getting the dumplings but I'll try it next time.

Here for the salty purple rice roll. It's a nice breakfast/snack. Tasty and delicious and pretty filling. It's nutty from the purple rice and has a nice texture from the chinese donut. If mexicans have breakfast burrito, this is what we have!I'd say it's a nice road trip breakfast on the go. Not messy and you can eat in the car. They also have all kinds of frozen dumplings and refrigerated bread or coffee for to go, so you can heat up at home. Dine in has nice tables and decor and service.

The cashier accidentally ordered a coke for me which is 1.5 dollars without tax, however, she only refunded me 1.65 dollars, the tax is more than ten percent, poor service

Nice Taiwanese breakfast spot - I've had it a few times before but this time we didn't order as much so I only have a pic of the fan Tuan. I usually get takeout with my family so they ordered for me but this time since I ordered myself - I made a rookie mistake. When you order the fan tuan, ask for everything in it!! I was so sad to see only the you tiao and pork floss in it. It will cost extra but make it so much more tasty with the Taiwanese sausage, egg, and pickled mustard greens. There is a parking lot - it is small but there is more underground.

The taste is super ????, and the rice balls ? are really a bit too big⋯. The oyster omelette is okay~, the egg pancake is good, and if there is an old-fashioned egg pancake (flour omelette), it would be unbeatable~The fried dough sticks are very fresh and delicious?with full bean flavorParking: 20
