My dad's favorite taiwanese breakfast place and I kind of like it too.Delicious salty soy milk, huge yo tiao, fresh flaky crispy daikon pastries they even have taiwanese delicacies like vermicelli rice noodle and oyster omelet. Only downside is the place gets packed especially on weekends and they rush you and by rush you I mean they will put the check on the table before you even ask for it. Guess you're telling me to go. Ok.

The specialty beef noodles used to be, but now they always feel a bit like that...

Came here pre-pandemic for some authentic youtiao with soymilk, went back just today because I was really craving it again. Just as good as before, you can't really beat youtiao from a Taiwanese breakfast place (and I go to Banh Mi Che Cali all the time lol). Now they have smartphone ordering which is great, because I know no Mandarin and my Cantonese is rudimentary (and that's being generous). Also got a rice roll with egg as well and it made me so nostalgic. I want to eat like 7 of them. But I was full after 1 youtiao and the soymilk - I even shared the youtiao with a friend.

Great oily sticks but it is a bit pricey now. Salted soy milk was mid.

Hangbao is so expensive, but it’s really delicious!

Came here for the 2nd time for breakfast, with lots of time apart in between. it is one of the raved spots for taiwanese breakfast, or so was the thought. however - it hasn't been my favorite taiwanese spot, and I think mainly its because the food isn't as flavorful as I would have hoped.I got the green onion pancake with eggs, the taiwanese donut, and the salty soymilk. They are basically cash only ($30 minimum - which for 1-2 people seemingly is impossible but possible to get to). There is a parking lot shared with other shops, and lots of tables. It is self seating, as in you would have to order, and then take the seat, but also noting to the cashier which table you are seating, for those - you are to pay at the end.Since its almost self service, do note they still expect tips.I would come back and try different dishes, but I might skip the ones I have already tried for that very reason above.Staff are all very nice though!

Great place for Taiwanese breakfast! I particularly like their green onion cake with egg, and the youtiao was super light and flaky. The salted dou jiang was also a great way to start the morning!Plus everyone here is super friendly.BTW, after you figure out what you want, you order at the counter.

I’m Taiwanese & this place is meh.I do like their sesame soy milk and silky tofu & would order these again.-Sesame Soy milk- Too diluted/watered down. Very slightly sweetened which I like. Even though it’s too diluted I still like it.-Glutinous rice roll- too little filling & the fried dough inside is no longer crispy. Won’t order again-Silky tofu- not a traditional Taiwanese dish. Still taste good though-Oyster pancake- Normally there’s a lot more tapioca starch being mixed in. Won’t order again

This place for breakfast, I did ordered soy milk and Chinese donuts, I think the soy milk wasn't good I felt more watery because I don't tasted much of soya and also the tables and chairs are not very cleaned...

Great Chinese breakfast! So glad they open early in the morning!

Not sure why this places gets so little love as the food is very above average and the service is quick and efficient. Definitely come for the youtiao. The soy milk is a little disappointing as the soy bean flavor isn’t very present but still a pleasant drink. Portions are fairly generous but a little bit pricier than some of their competition. If you’re missing Taiwanese breakfast, this is definitely a good choice.
