Great family owned business. Good people. Definitely recommend. Donuts are always fresh and the breakfast sandwiches are tadtu.

I heard from a buddy it was the best doughnut shop in the area (he's a bit of a connoisseur) and I totally agree. It's our go-to now when we want doughnuts.Parking: 10ish spots. It's popular and some cars were double parked. I don't know if you can park at nearby locations. I said difficult, but it hasn't been too hard if you time it right.

Donuts were fresh and delicious. I will be back. Location was safe and convenient. Building was outdated. But, the service was great.

Was driving by on a Tuesday morning and decided to give this place a try. Overall, I would say that the donuts were average at best. The glazed old fashioned was not pretty good. The chocolate and glazed raised were ok - a bit oily. The sprinkle cake donut and the donut holes were forgettable. The lady working the counter was nice and tossed in a coupe of free items. Like so many donut shops, this one is probably best for convenience. I wouldn't "seek it out" like I would for Stan's Donuts or Ferrell's .

These donuts are great because they don't leave a weird after taste (like Krispy Kreme) after eating them. The lady gave us so many extras today she didn't have to. The place is old; sign missing letters, you can smell the cleaning products... but it's big in authenticity and sincerity.

The donuts are delicious but the breakfast sandwiches are amazing!! Highly recommend the number 1 - egg, ham, bacon and cheese on a croissant!

I'm just doing the review on the service. my family has been coming at least 3 times a week. we love the donuts but the lady that makes the sandwiches gave us attitude when we asked her if she was going to make new coffee she raised her voice at me and said there's some on the funnel. we don't know how long that coffee has been there. we seen her and the older lady picking her favorite people and make them fresh coffee when they demand it. hopefully it's not racism but they do be picking their favorite people the two older ladies. there's a young cashier and she's always nice to us. because of her and the food we still come back but the two older ladies either find a new job or stay at home. be equal to everyone.

I am not a big fan of donuts and honestly don't eat many of them. However, I do have some cravings for them from time to time and my #1 place is Bascom Donuts at 3966 S Bascom Ave, San Jose, CA 95124. I have been coming here for years,. Family run and operated they consistently have fresh donuts throughout the day. It looks like it's always been a donut shop and has a nice seating area. The ambience provides a clean, well maintained store. Parking is limited and sometimes a bit crowded. They have anything you possibly could want and the selection is incredible. They have the best French Crulla I have ever tasted! Soft, flavorful and great icing on them. The Apple Fritters, other items are fabulous. Always fresh coffee and cold milk for us donuteers! The service is always friendly and the people operating the store really care about the customer experience. Always a hello when you arrive and a thank you when you leave. A great donut place I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Perfection! If there is a place that does exactly what it is supposed to do, it would have to be Bascom Donuts! everything on their donut menu is as good as anything I have ever tried. Highly recommended!

Friendly service. I've been coming here since my kid was born. The ham and cheese is baked in the croissant.. rare find. Super soft inside and naked just right. The croissant is just flaky enough and bigger than my fist. Twice the size actually. These sell fast.

One of the few hometowns, small business owners, and American (it's a creed) donut shop still left standing! Fresh, wide selection, welcoming and appreciative for your business patronage.
