Casual hawaiian eatery located in the Maplewood Plaza. Bright space with wooden chairs and tables inside, and a few tables outside too. Employee took my order at the front counter (standard service), though there's a self-order kiosk as well. Order was ready in 5-10 minutes, no other customers at the time. Got the mini loco moco, and the meat, gravy, mac salad, everything was flavorful and satisfying... the mini size was sufficient for a filling meal. Based on taste, I'd say this would be one of my top 2 hawaiian spots in the south bay.

Really good food with generous portions. Better than a lot of the popular spots on the east side

Very Yummy! Went here today and ho some lunch for my 96 year old mom and me. It was super yummy! Both dishes come with the standard rice and mac salad which was very delicious. I ordered her the seafood platter. 3 pieces of very delicious fish and shrimp. The fish have a certain seasoning which is very yummy! Very very tasty! I had the bento box. Comes with chicken, beef, fish and a nice slice of Spam. It was very delicious! The beef was marinated fully and very tasty. The chicken was nice as well. The spam was as expected, very yummy. The fish again has wonderful flavor! The service is as expected. You order your food and then wait for it to be prepared. The ambiance is comfortable and inviting. Great new place! I'll be back soon!

Came here for lunch a few weeks ago with my brother. I was craving Mac Salad so we decided to give this place a try. Super casual dining with seating inside and out. Menu boards are displayed as you walk in but of course I'd already looked online so I knew what I wanted. Here's what we got: Regular BBQ Chicken Plate - I actually ordered the mini but he must not have heard me correctly because I was charged for the regular which ended up being okay because the leftovers were good. I liked the flavor and tenderness of the chicken and the Mac salad was really good. Next time I'll ask for more Mac salad and no rice though. Mini Chicken Katsu - my brother ordered this and said it was good but not anything special. I really liked the sauce. Gyoza - these were yummy and I'd absolutely order them again. Service was friendly so no complaints there. But the food was just okay in our opinion. Not bad by any means and portions are large. Will I come back? Probably not simply because I live across the street from another Hawaiian BBQ place where the food feels about the same quality and taste.

Great new place with tasty food! Had the 1/2 BBQ chicken and 1/2 BBQ beef plate and it was delicious. Also tried the spam musubi and was not disappointed. Happy to have a new local Hawaiian restaurant. Staff was very nice as well!

Really delicious Hawaiian BBQ! We stopped by here the other week since it's close to my son's school. We ordered the chicken katsu + short ribs. The portions are quite generous (like most Hawaiian BBQ places haha) and the food was delicious. My 2.5 year old ate like 7 pieces of the chicken katsu.... the employees were very friendly as well, and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommend.

- Short ribs. Decent flavor, but some pieces were small or not full pieces. 3/5 - Chicken katsu. Perfection. 5/5 - Spam musubi. Excellent. Canorrally mess this up. 5/5 - Fried fish. Not crispy at all. 2/5 - BBQ chicken. Ordered a la carte like the fried fish, but strangely both were packed together and the chicken had the fish flavor and lemon on it. 2/5 - Mac salad. Pretty good, slightly runny sauce. 4/5 Overall: 3.5/5 and would still try again.

The place wasnt too busy about Noon so i got my order in right away. I got the Loco Moco which wasnt too bad. I asked for Mac instead of just Rice n Mac. The patty was ok and the eggs were fried but runny so that was good. The Mac was kinda meh, could use some salt & pepper though. I will come again to try more items for sure. They seem to have everything To-Go so no real plates or silverware that i saw. I hope this place works out here because this is the only Hawaiian place around here at all really. They do have some outdoor seating which is nice.

The portions are big but lacks flavor. I wish they had teriyaki sauce like the other Hawaiian spots. The staff was nice though.

This Hawaiian bbq place is new to the area so we gave it a try last night. We had the large Kalua pork plate and the bbq chicken bowl and both were really good! The pork was really flavorful and tender and the bowl was a nice portion. I think the bowl just needed some kind of sauce on the side. It came out pretty fast as well. Just as good as L&L (possibly even better) and way easier to access. We will definitely eat here again!

Amazing hawaiian bbq. Shocked at how good their chicken was. SHOCKED! Also best mac I've had and I've tried many hawaiian bbq restaurants. I ordered low carb option with a side of Mac. Big enough to feed 3 people.

What a nice addition to this area! A great dinner option! I was craving Hawaiian BBQ and saw this come up on Yelp. They had only been open for a few weeks when I stopped by. There's a large menu displayed and simple layouts. You can order with a touchscreen monitor or with the staff. Very friendly staff, and they were happy to give suggestions for first timers! Limited seating but clean and spacious restaurant. What I ordered: Hawaiian Mix BBQ Platter (Beef, Short Ribs, Chicken, Macaroni Salad and Rice) - $16.95 Spam Musubi Trio - $9.95 Food came out super quick and piping hot. BBQ was DELICIOUS and flavorful. I usually stray away from ordering chicken because they tend to be dry but this place was so tender and juicy. The meat was perfectly seasoned and I really was blown away by how amazing the food was. The Macaroni salad was good too. I definitely had food coma after this lol Generous portions and the prices were also affordable. I had leftovers the next day and it still tasted just as good, if not better. I was even having cravings for this place the whole week. Too bad I don't live in this area anymore. Way better than L&L's! Support local businesses! Highly recommend! Definitely a gem! They definitely deserve their name, BEST HAWAIIAN BBQ!
