Braise is always amazing. The menu choices change pretty regularly but they have their staple items which are wonderful and tasty. I have never had anything there that was not wonderful. The cheddar beignets, the Tam and Jam and their brunch omelette was great!

Wanted to like this spot as it looked so cute in photos online. We came here for happy hour twice and the bill was incorrect both times (some HH items were charged full-price) but it was promptly adjusted as soon as we brought it up. Their service is kind and attentive, just watch your bill to make sure it's correct. The smoked carrot dip ($7) was quite bland and flavorless. The potato chips had more flavor than the dip itself. We ordered some cocktails to try and none of them were able to be modified because they were all pre-batched. The tequila sunrise tasted like juice and was too sweet; the braised by wolves was basic. Note that drinks here are not able to be made fresh, which was unfortunate. No comment on the rest of the menu as the HH items were not convincing to have a full dinner there. This spot seems to sell vibes more than the food itself, and it didn't click for us. We ended up walking over to Black Sheep Brasserie for dinner instead where the food was much better! Happy Hour days/times: Wed-Sat 3-5pm Fri-Sat 9-10pm

Amazing food we touch all sides of the menu. Scallops, pork belly, burger and fried chicken. All the food was incredible but the burger was to die for. One of the best for sure and the decor and restaurant was great.

Best place for happy hour. The grilled cheese sandwich is delicious and they really do have the best French fries. I was told they make them fresh.

Food was tasty. Front of house service was pretty good; there was only one server managing lunch on a Friday, but only 3-4 tables were occupied, and he was fairly attentive. Food took much longer than expected to be served though, which was disappointing. It's a cute neighborhood spot though, and I will definitely go back.

The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. In our party of 4, we each had something different. I had the gnocchi, which was fabulous. Someone else had the fried chicken with thigh meat--it was a huge dish. The burger was also huge. My dad had the scallops--there were 4 large ones on his dish. We got there early at 5pm, so the place was quiet then, but it picked up around 6:30pm and was a bit noisy. We'll definitely be back again.

We made a reservation and got there a bit early. There were two tables outside and I asked if we could sit outside since we had a baby. As the guy helping me was looking at our reservation a family sat down at one of the outdoor tables after telling this same guy they didn't have a reservation. This guy stopped talking to me and told them it was fine to sit there and then told me "they come every week." He said the other table was reserved even though it wasn't an option to reserve an outdoor table online. All of this was an immediate turn off. We ended up seated inside. The food was ok. They served buttered toast without any jam and when we asked for it they said it's $1 for "homemade jam" (toast, eggs and sausage for $18 plus a fee for jam seemed steep). It was a tiny serving that they brought us and it ended up being $2 on the bill. On the upside the drinks were pretty good.

The seating for a party of two consisted of a table for 4 splits between two parties of two whom you don't know. The first table they tried to seat us at was the very last table in the restaurant with another older couple, who we didn't know, and they obviously didn't want us there. The table was in the very back of the restaurant directly in front of the restrooms and next to the kitchen, terrible seat. Finally, I demand a table at the front, which was dirty, and after arguing they finally cleaned it an allowed us to sit at it. Our meal was poor for example we ordered a cheese tray as an appetizer and it consisted of 3 tiny pieces of cheese less than an ounce total, what a rip off. I mistakenly ordered their breaded chicken dinner. The breading was burned onto the skin of the chicken, and I had to peel it off to get to thigh meat chicken, which was horribly cooked. I can say there was nothing that I can recommend about the restaurant, in fact I would offer a hazard warning, which would state enter and eat at your own risk. The only reason we came to the restaurant was I was given a money voucher for my birthday that paid for the dinner. Even for free I felt I was ripped off.

Ordered several dishes. The flavor was great (5 stars) for the PBJ, but how is this potato gnocchi a $21.60 item?! This is less than a total cup of gnocchi. WTF. And this was $20.06 of pork belly (3 small pieces). The food was really good - but for the prices, the portions were absurd. :(

I made a brunch reservation here and I don't normally enjoy brunches, but the quality of food was SO GOOD! We ordered the cheese plate which had a nice selection of Cowgirl Creamery with really nice snack pairings. The mushroom omelette may be one of the best, well-cooked omelettes I've ever had. And the hash browns were perfectly crispy on the outside, and soft and moist in the center. Serious props to the chef. The ambience is so comfortable and cozy, kid-friendly with high chairs available, and not so loud so you can have nice conversations.

I have never been treated so poorly as a patron of a restaurant by management no less! The servers themselves seemed quite pleasant but had their hands tied. My husband only eats seafood so is a pescatarian so we asked the waitress if the clams were good as one of the many other things we were asking about and she said they have one last one so if we want it tell her now! So we said ok. It arrived and we all took a few of them and noticed it had meat on it. Even though I eat meat it was not appetizing to have pork sprinkled on clams. We told the waiter the issue and he kindly apologized and offered to bring something else instead and so we ordered a salad. In the end they charged us for the clams and we asked about it and the owner stated he does not give out free food and that it says in the menu clearly and even continued mentioning others in the party of 4 could have eaten it We gave up. But the worst part hadn't even happened. After we got the bill and complained they added 3 drinks that we never ordered to the bill before splitting the check on the two credit cards! My husband did not notice but I realized when thinking how much half the check would have been and our total being more than that. I realized I had already spoken to the manager and he treated us so poorly I did not feel I could go talk to him again another day about this!

Came here on a Sunday with the wife because we wanted to try something local or something new, we came across this place because it had a very interesting menu. Sadly the lobster roll wasn't available but let me tell you, the smoked salmon sandwich is delicious and the portions you get here are plentiful. FANTASTIC COFFEE btw

My experience here was incredible! Came here for the first time & ordered the cheese-plate as an appetizer (amazing) followed by one of the best burgers I've ever had. Even the fries were incredible! The entire wait-staff was friendly & accommodating. Great atmosphere as well. Definitely recommend this spot.
