We ordered the Hainan chicken rice and Nasi lemak. Both are ok but have been somewhat altered from the original version normally found in Malaysia, especially the Nasi lemak. For the chicken rice, the rice is flavorful, the chicken is tender but this version has a dark broth. It is good and still worth a try.The rice of the Nasi lemak has a bright green color. I think it is supposed to show that pandan juice has been added for a pandan flavored rice. But natural pandan color wouldn't be this bright, food coloring must have been added, which is disappointing and a little disturbing for me. This nasi lemak comes with flavorful lemon grass chicken and a sour (acha) salad, which is nice but it lacks the regular sides such as crispy fried anchovy and chili paste with belachan (sambal belachan), which for me is a must have for nasi lemak (the chicken and acha salad don't normally come with nasi lemak). An altered spicy onion sauce with a few anchovy was included, I won't call that sambal belachan though, it doesn't have any of the flavor. Because of that, I didn't feel satisfy after consuming the nasi lemak that I was craving for.

A big portion for me. It looks Iike for two people to have it. Home made sauces are a plus for the foods. Also, no bones with the chicken. Tasty side dish of pickled veggies. Yummy and Delicious! So glad they added some many varieties menu now that makes me have more choices and want to go there more often.

We had a great meal at Chicken Licious. We ordered three meals between us because we wanted to try as much as possible. Our overall favorite dish was the nasi lemak. The chicken was braised in a lemongrass curry mixture and the flavors were fantastic. The sides all paired well with the chicken and rice. The char kway teow was also very good. Lots of wok hei there and they were generous with the toppings and portion. It wasn't super flavorful but I think it's meant to be paired with the spicy shrimp paste, which the owner recommended to us. It was perfect with the sauce. We also had the smashed fried chicken. Perfectly fried and juicy chicken. Can't ask for more. We'll come back to try the egg chow fun. The owner was super friendly and gave us recommendations on what to try and what sauces to use with what (there are eight!). He even let us try a curry puff and it was fantastic. Chicken Licious was super authentic and brought me back to Southeast Asia. This is a must-try and I can't wait to go back.

The FoodMalaysian restaurants are far and few, and those that serve Asam Laksa are even more uncommon. Partner and I got introduced to Chicken Licious, and mentioned they had Asam Laksa, so we decided to give it a try. My partner of course got Asam Laksa (亞參叻沙), so I wanted something different to share. I got their Ayam Penyet Smashed Fried Chicken (印尼炸鸡). We also got Curry Puff (咖喱角) and Hakka Sticky Rice Dumpling (客家粽, 咸肉棕). It is also nice that they have herbal soup for you to sip on while you wait for food. The Asam Laksa came with a flavorful broth, with various toppings, and noodles. The Ayam Penyet Smashed Fried Chicken has a spicy (sambal?) sauce to go along with the chicken. They also had nice flavored rice, fried tofu, and pickled vegetables with the dish as well. I quite enjoy the dishes, they are all well made and have a unique flavor. The MiscellaneousThe restaurant is in a plaza known as Caribbees Center. The plaza is quite big with a good amount of parking, but the parking is quite weird and narrow. The interior has a bright aesthetic. Upon entry, there is a waiting area with a flower wall decor. The main dining room is spacious with decent seating. The staff and service was good. We had a short chat with the owners on how hard it was to source all the ingredients for Asam Laksa. Their menu has a good selection of dishes, focusing on Bento and Noodle. But they also have Snack, Side, Dessert, etc. If you are looking for some authentic Malaysian food, I would recommend giving this place a try. I would also want to go back to try their other dishes.

Ordered door dash from this place and it's probably the worst hainan chicken I've ever had. Everything lacked flavor. The roti was good but the curry it came with was practically 75% oil.

Tastes so bad! I have no idea what was I eating. Pickle tastes weird, soup tastes like the water they left from washing pots and dishes. My combo also has a weird taste and super spicy paste, which is the most regrettable thing I ever had.

Read great review about this Malaysian restaurant, so we decided to visit since there isn’t any Malaysian restaurant where we live. Highly recommended! Authentic food, friendly and warm customer service by the owner, and generous portions! We loved the pandan (green) Nasi lemak with a huge piece of rendang chicken. The chow fun has good ‘wok hey’ you don’t typically get from other Chinese restaurants. The size of the Hakka dumpling was more than we could eat and delicious. Restaurant is clean with ample parking. Absolutely enjoyable. Will visit again.

Delicious foods, great service provided by the family. Portion for bento box is huge, much bigger than a regular dish, we didn't know and ended up over ordering. We had roti canai for appetizer, nasi lemak and ayam bakar and all of them did not disappoint. We also were given traditional Malaysian dessert which we didn't have any more room for, but delicious. Recommended.

First time trying this place that was recommended by a Malaysian friend and I wasn't impressed. The char kuay teow was lacking 'wok hei' and portion was rather small. We also got the Egg Chow Fun which supposedly resembles the 'wat dan hor' but it was significantly lacking in flavor, so I definitely won't recommend this dish. Aside from that, service was great and they even serve complimentary soup. If you're looking for authentic Malaysian food, I'd probably give this a pass.
