Had such an amazing time here! Came with a group of 5 on a Saturday around 7:30pm. Wait was about 30 minutes. Great service, and I loved all the food we got. Guac: 5/5 Simple, yummy, perfect amount of seasoning imo Empanadas: 3.5/5 They were good but didn't stand out compared to other dishes I tried Fish tacos: 4/5 Fish was crispy, very simple and delicious Birria: 5/5 I can't wait to go back to get this again. So cheesy. It's made with lamb so if you don't like the taste of lamb, I wouldn't recommend it. But it's insanely good. Flan: 3.5/5 Loved the flan (i would give that a 4/5) but I didn't care for the strawberry sauce Bunuelos: 3.5/5 Can't go wrong. Warm, cinnamon sugar donut holes Crème brûlée: 4/5 I've never had a corn crème brûlée! We loved it. I'm the sweeter side. Churros: 3/5 Nothing crazy. I personally prefer cinnamon sugar so this was a bit plain for me. My friends also really loved their mole and pozole. I tried a bit of their dishes and everything tasted really good. Drinks were good, ambiance was fun. We had such a great girls night. Can't wait to bring the bf here for date night!

Overpriced and mediocreI came with the intentions of having the mole enchiladas, but since my party was upstairs, I did not get that option since upstairs is a different menu from downstairsI had to settle for the $25!!!“taco truck style quesbirrias”Chicken tacos were super bland & cold.Automatic, 20% gratuity on big parties.85$ for 2 basic entrées and 1 mixed drinkService was a 8 out of 10The drink was a 6 out of 10The men’s upstairs bathroom has occupancy for one individual at a time; be prepared to constantly stand in line and wait your turn :/…….Parking is horrible. You can risk it at parkinggarage across the street as their sign says“ NO COPITA PARKING”Will not be returning

I was excited to finally go to copita until I saw how the busboy was cleaning the tables. He was cleaning the tables with leftover water from the cups that people had drank in . This is unacceptable with COVID and so may bacteria's no good at all I will definitely not be going back and on top of that the food was not all that either definitely not recommended

We really enjoyed our experience at Copita. We started with the papas bravas and empanadas. The shrimp enchiladas were delicious. The service was excellent! We look forward to going back.

Went for galentines. We heard there was a rooftop bar and we easily made a reservation through their site. The service was interesting upon arrival. Whoever met us downstairs said we could head up to be seated, and when we met with the host upstairs they looked shocked that we were sent up. It seemed busier upstairs, but we were still seated. It was a moody vibed lit rooftop with heaters and group seating options. We all got some drinks, but my friend's loteria-inspired one was my favorite. We were met by the servers multiple times, and they were funny and attentive. Additionally, my co-workers and I were surprised by the limited food options. I got tacos. It was okay. All in all, good experience.

Highly recommend Copita! We got mixed up on my birthday reservations and we were not going to make it on time to our original dinner reservations. We walked in to Copita as a group of 15, no reservations on a Saturday evening. I talked to the hostess about our dilemma and with the help of the owners David and Derek we were seated within 15 minutes. Prior to be seated, Emanuel, the bartender suggested birthday shots and popular drinks. The place has a Mexican modern esthetic. The bar is perfectly located at the entrance of the restaurant and you can easily make your way to the outside patio which also leads to the upstairs. We enjoyed our dinner in the private room which included an extended wood table with cute and detail flower vases. David and Derek introduced the staff as he served all of us champagne. Long our waiter, Ana brought out our menus and Christopher. Copita! Where were you all my life. I have not experienced customer service like that in a long time. Long our waiter, gave us great recommendations for appetizers, we decided on the Guacamole, which was fresh and delicious. We also ordered the Papas Bravas paired with an avocado cream sauce. Great together not sure by themselves, that was just me my other friends enjoyed them. His drink recommendation was also on point. Don't recall what I ordered since the tequila shots were already getting to me. Our dinner plate choices varied from the Posole Rojo, Aguachile, tacos al pastor with handmade tortillas. Those were the dishes I shared with friends, all three were delicious but the pozole was my favorite. Thank you David, Derek, Emanuel, Long, Christopher and Ana! You made my birthday extra special.

Came here tonight with two of my friends.I ordered the shrimp aquachile and tacos, both were good. The service and sanitation however was some of the worst i’ve ever experienced.First, one of our friends didn’t receive his meal. Our server was non existent and didn’t check on us once. We flagged down three seperate employees walking by. Both my friend and I finished our meals 45 minutes before our other friend received his meal. Not one employee apologized. One of the workers even had the audacity to ask us “well, do you want to wait for it l because we’re making it”. Still no apologies that we’ve now waited an hour for our friend to get his food. Then we notice the lady making the tortillas by hand was on her phone taking calls while wearing her gloves. That’s so unsanitary and disgusting it ruined my experience. Also, two of us noticed the smell and flavor of alcohol in our water. It tastes like tequila or vodka. I’m not sure why our water would have alcohol in it or taste like it. We alll smelled and tasted the water to confirm we were experiencing the same thing, when we asked the waiter to change the water he said he didn’t smell anything and quickly threw it out. Overall, horrible service. I know this place is new, but if you serve a group of people there food first and make the last person wait an hour, an apology would go a long way.

Great food for friends, a date night, or family. The chef is an artist who pays close attention to all details and the mixologist creatively infuses creations as well. The staff take good care of the guests. Whether seated downstairs or catching a view from upstairs, a positive experience, all around! We had the Blood Orange Margarita, Mangonada, Wine, Chicken Tortilla Soup, Brussels, 24/7 Carnitas, Guacamole, Crudo, Churro with Cinnamon and Chocolate. Next time…we will do the flights!

We were a group of 4 and were lucky to get a table quickly. This place is fairly busy. The servers were really good and very attentive. They had a few options for vegetarians as well. Would definitely recommend the following -Papas Bravas / Quesabirria/ Baja cod tacos/ Al Pastor Tacos Habenero.

This is the second time I have visited the restaurant and this is the second time I had a wonderful experience. I ordered a salad as a starter - I have to say that although salads are relatively easy to ensemble and make, I was impressed by the freshness of the product and the creativity of the dish. The fish tacos were remarkable. Again, the product tasted fresh and the combination of flavours was really good. The guacamole has the perfect amount of lime and salt. I’m Mexican, not all the guacamoles are the same.My husband had the quesabirria which was also very tasty and my son had the beef tacos. As for desserts we tried churros, corn crème brûlée and the flan. There’s no flan-like COPITA! IT WAS OUTSTANDING!!!Stunning experience! The service is terrific, the people are sociable and the chef is tremendous!Congratulations!!Dietary restrictions: It’s great that everything is gluten free. You can have a great time too if you’re vegetarian.
