I was here working for a week and was eating fast food and my body was highly upset about the whole food situation. On our last day in town I found this place with great reviews.Bartender was great and answered all our questions, I finally went with the pork chop.It was easily hands down, the best pork chop I ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Add a old fashioned and I was in a great place to be.Absolutely ?. Will definitely return to give the 5 Starz this place deserves. Do yourself a favor and just go!

Stopped in here for a table of two before a concert we were attending. Staff was very nice and accommodating. The menu is not very big which is fine but the options just didn't really stand out much from other restaurants in the area. Pretty basic dishes with a pop here and there of a unique ingredient. There wasn't much in choice of beers either, which was a bummer. Our salad and salmon plates were fine, prepared well but nothing much to write home about. They provided us with a free birthday dessert which was very kind. There's a rustic feel to the space, and I felt very cozy here.

Service I hope our server finds a better job at a real pub/restaurant that deserves her. She was kind, conscientious and provided really good service with a smile. Ambiance Negative ambiance, seats torn and ripped, dirty floor, dark, 2 silly small tvs on the wall. Food We ordered the fried chicken sandwiches. The chicken was raw in the middle and inedible. Didn't trust sending anything back to their "kitchen" for a re-do...hate to think what is going on back there? You've been warned.

Firehouse is one of our favorite restaurants in the area, our family has been going here for years and they NEVER disappoint. The wings and Mac n cheese are a must but really anything u get will be delicious. Waiters and bartenders are friendly and so helpful.

Went there with a party of 5 before a Sharks game. We had made a reservation and were seated right away. Raag, our waiter, was very personable and made me laugh. The chicken soup with peppers in it was delicious. My son got the Mac and cheese with bacon and it was amazing. My bison burger was tasty, the onion rings were excellent, and others liked their burgers and the stuffed chicken breast. We had very good service. It was an unexpectedly enjoyable dinner and we really recommend it here - looking to come back and try something else.

Haven't received service like this is a loonnnng time, everyone was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming! Tad bit annoying with all the check ins but I also LOVED IT! Thank you for helping me celebrate my husband's big 3 0 We'll definitely be back, those flavors are too good to not have again.

Overpriced, small portions ( do not order the charcuterie board which we were told was shareable-it was sad- not even enough for 1 person a few slices of salami & prosciutto a few crackers a few cornichons and a dab of arugula w/ jalapeños for $22) The menu was not the same as online-very disappointing! Service was good though

The food here was great. We've been here several times. We ordered the steak salad, steak cooked perfectly medium well. Shrimp and polenta, very large shrimp and the polenta was amazing. Highly recommend

This is a San Pedro square staple. Inside seating is pretty cramped. The outside seating gives you a good view of what's going on in the street. They have a full bar. It's a Gastropub so it's American food - think burgers, pork chops, Nashville hot chicken, chicken wings, steak, bone marrow, etc. The food is solid. Every now and then they will have something that stands out.

The service here is great, I was a little too drunk and I spilled my drink but the waitress gave me a new one . Also, the vibe is definitely chill but also very much so "get your drink on" so we went super comfortable and didn't feel like we were out of place. The bone marrow is AMAZING.

Felt welcomed the moment we walked in. Let the guys behind the bar, (David and Raag) pick a drink for you. You won't be disappointed. It is obvious that the staff enjoy their jobs. Definitely coming back the next time we are in San Jose.

My girlfriends and I came here for dinner with a reservation for 8/9 last week to celebrate a friend's achievement with obtaining her bachelor's degree from SJSU. We were seated immediately for our reservation to the back of the pub. There are a few high bar tables up front by bar, long bar with high chairs and some small and couple of big tables in the back. Pretty small pub and quite intimate. Love that the lighting was not nearly as dim as most restaurants and bars so looking at the menu wasn't hard. Maddie came to introduce herself and provided us with menus right away. She was prompt and knew the menu to answer our questions as we were hungry. We ordered many dishes (mussles, steak, pasta, salad, truffle fries, calamari, etc) to share between the 6 girls, and we finished it! The food was decent, and some were better than others, but I think we really liked the calamari, and our request for cocktail sauce was made impromptu by the chef as they did not have any available at hand. It was delish! Overall, good service and food for a good celebration with friends.

Enjoyed a lovely work team dinner here! Ambience, food & service were great! Fun music playing in the background as well. I would happily recommend & return to this wonderful spot!
