Menu says one thing and I got another (spicy). The manager was aware and didn't approach our table to say anything. Soy Glaze vs hot chicken are very different. You shouldn't have to ask if we want it off our bill. Then to be forced to close out after I verbally expressed how I was going to get another beverage seemed like retaliation. As a business owner I would of handled it way different. Simple apology would of sufficed. Maybe they thought we were college students... picture shows I ate the chicken out the hot chicken breading and what the menu says it was suppose to be.

St. Patricks Day, Five Points heavily regulated their entrance. I came to know the consequences of this as someone just walking by on the sidewalk. On St. Patricks Day, Five Points rejected two females from entering the Bar. These two females started to fight after this in front of the bar, causing a large crowd to form and trapping many people who were walking by in the crowd. I was one of those people. The girls fought as even security was just watching. Being trapped there, one girl drove her shoulder into the other and they both fell onto the heavy wooden Five Points street sign that I was standing next to. When they did this, they collapsed on top of me, crushing my leg under both their weight and the weight of the Five Points sign as they continued to fight. I couldn't walk after this, but security was quick enough to deny liability. The girls simply walked away and continued their night, going bar to bar. I was stuck trying to get to the ER, trapped downtown, struggling with walking. I'm still dealing with the injury over a week later.

Went there for drinks with coworkers for my birthday/work celebration, generally the experience and environment was overall good. BUT! If you don't like alcohol but want to fit in by getting a virgin margarita like I did be prepared to be over charge. Got robbed for $15.

WORST PLACE TO GO!! Got kicked out for NO REASON, was wrongfully accused of "dropping a drink" as their security said, when I had not done that at all. I would like them to show me the security camera to prove to me that I did that. I had only 2 drinks (1 was not even that good, 'Irish car bomb' for st.pattys day). Might as well have stayed home if I knew they were going to be rude and have nasty drinks. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! We were just trying to have a good night for St.Patricks day but they ruined our experience, will DEFINITELY tell everyone about this.

Drinks were good, food not so much! However, we only had the wings and they sucked so we didn't go further! It's a no for me!

Beware: they rip you off! A drink is $16 on the menu but they charge you more than $20!

Had Paloma's and burgers with fries.Burger and fries were very delicious. Cooked perfectly medium and it had the perfect amount of mayo, pickles and lettuce. Would def come back here for that (sorry no pic). Paloma's came very quickly. Seemed to be non-alcoholic. Confused about this and contemplated if we should bother to ask or complain. Waitress didn't come back because we closed the tab out. So we didn't. However, I really enjoyed the food. A but pricey especially since we were charged full price for drinks that didn't have any alcohol. The back room was very nice. Had more drinks that were made very nicely. Would recommend if you wanted more quiet space.

Not cover. Don't think they have a dress code. Good DJ. Small dance floor. Narrow, so it does get crowded. One of my favorite spots still. Also have whiskey flights ? ?

Just wow!!! Great staff and the owner is flat out someone who care about the customer experience. The selection is great, but the all stars are behind the bar.

Step into this cool old saloon styled gem in downtown San Jose. The bartenders are true alchemists, concocting drinks that taste like liquid history with a modern twist. Most Friday nights the scene is combined with live tunes setting the mood. Plenty of seating, even a cool nook with couches at the front. Great collection of alcohol on the back wall and experienced bar tenders aim to please with whatever your tastebuds desire. Great place to stop for a quick drink on your night out. 4 out of 5 stars - just because I think they should have more restrooms for a bar this size.

The Bowery room is a nice little room too have some casual drinks and talk without all of the noise and music. Bartender in there is a lot more professional and slow paced making better drinks.
