A Vietnamese-themed vegetarian restaurant, nestled in a plaza. Ample parking. The restaurant is cozy, but has decor that transforms you to Southeast Asia, including bamboo-carved starfish ceiling light covers.Service is slow and not attentive. They try but with a full restaurant 3 servers just makes it hard for them to fill water, remember the chili sauce, and clear dirty piled-up plates. The food is tasty although I found the imitate meat a bit salty. The salty fish fried rice also lacks that salty fish taste, although the texture of the dish is crunchy and layered. The lau, or hot pot - we chose Thai style - was reasonable but pricey at $36 for the amount of food offered. There were about 4 pieces of imitate ham, oyster mushroom, zucchini and a plate of yellow and white vermicelli noodles. The soup was flavorable but I was expecting more of a tom yum style as oppose to a mix of spicy sweet and sour soup style of the traditional Vietnamese format. The oyster mushroom appetizer is refreshing, with a sour sauce that blend well with the ingredient choice.Overall, a solid good meal that is on the light side as it is entirely vegetarian and portions run on the smaller side.

We came there for the first time and the ambiance was great but the food was lacking. This is all vegetarian food but I will name the dishes as it appears on the menu. We ordered Roasted Duck noodle soup, Beef papaya salad (Goi Du Du), Roasted Duck with Steamed Bun, Shaking beef plate, Pork spring rolls. The food was not flavorful and lacked seasoning. The amount of protein (vegetarian imitation meat or even tofu amount) was very low and they made up for it by putting more vegetables but it’s not enough. The 3 of us left hungry after ordering all the dishes. We were a party of 3 hungry Vietnamese people. We ignored that there were literally nobody eating and we entered as the only customers there as a sign to not continue forward with eating here.We would not recommend restaurant to people we know.

This is my second time visiting this vegetarian restaurant. The first time was years ago. Both visits left me very positive impressions in terms of food even though I don't remember what I ordered in my first visit. But for my 2nd time, I went with my friend around Chinese lunar new year and we ordered sour and sweet soup, braised bbq claypot and hot tea. They both looked and tasted great, even the tea. The ambience gave me good vibes. I wish it could be more spacious. They both offer indoor and outdoor seating. Since it is popular, the waiting time is pretty long. Once it is your turn to get served, the service is professional. But one thing I don't understand is when we put down our name on the waiting list, they asked for our phone number. However, they only called our name in person and never actually dialed phone number to contact us. We thought they would call so we went around the plaza, and when we were back to check, our name was crossed out. Good thing is they were still able to find a table for us right away, otherwise it would've been so frustrating.

Love everything about the place, food, service, and ambiance. Perfect fit for vegetarians.Have been a repeat customer for sometime now and will definitely recommend to others.
My friend and I ordered a few dishes to try with one another. We started with (#6) Muc Muoi, Salt & Pepper Calamari. Honestly, these came off more like mushroom nuggets. The batter was bland but the salt and pepper mixture was good. The side sweet and sour sauce was passable too. We also tried their (16) Bo Bia, their Autumn Wraps with jicama and other veggies. They were quite small but a refreshing change of pace from the mushrooms. For the mains, we split the (30) Bun Hue, the veggie version of Bun Bo Hue and their (45) Com Chien Thap Cam, a combination fried rice with mock meats and topped with fried onions. I thought the noodles were good with a tangy, spicy broth and plenty of mock meats. The fried rice here was surprisingly the real winner, and our favorite of the dishes.Overall, I think this spot felt a bit short of really wowing me. The decor inside was lovely and the service was friendly, but they were quite slow. We had to wait a bit in order to get the check to pay and leave and cards back, but it's understandable if they were understaffed. If you're in the area though and want to try some veggie Viet options, I'd still recommend checking them out.Vegetarian options: Most menu items can be made vegan

Used to love this place. Great for vegetarians. Unfortunately the food and service the last couple of times have not been particularly good. The prices have also gone up considerably in the last few years. A little disappointing.

We just went once again to this restaurant for a quick lunch. We ordered the House Eggrolls, the 5 salad sampler and Mushroom porridge. I had never had the porridge so my tastebuds were still getting used to it, but by the time we finished, I can say I like it. The eggrolls were delicious and crispy. I loved them. Salads are our favorite dish, so we enjoyed all of them.Vegetarian options: Everything is delicious and vegetarian and they have lots of vegan options as well.

I'm a big fan of vegan food, so when I heard about this place, I had high hopes. However, after having a fantastic experience at Noble Vegetarian, a vegan restaurant in Sacramento, I expected something similar based on the reviews here. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The taste, portion size, service quality, and cost were all a letdown - a complete rip-off!

Our favorite vegetarian place in recent years. Our repeats are the fried mushrooms, duck soup with egg noodle, and the salted and fish fried rice. Depending on the season, their grapefruit salad is a must try.
