I wandered into the Market by accident. It’s a pretty typical food hall, which is not a bad thing, and all the restaurants in it seem committed and interesting.I hadn’t intended to eat incredible Cuban food, but that’s exactly what Habana Cuba has to offer. Every dish was a fiesta, and since I was eating with others, we all got to sample and share. The traditionally cooked pork was perfect, the Cuban rice and beans tasted authentic, and the spices were interesting and perfectly balanced.Alas, for the stupid age-old reasons, like most Americans I’ve never been able to visit Havana or to eat Cuban food in Cuba, but I’ve had the great pleasure of eating in the homes of Cuban friends, and eating at Habana Cuba reminded me of that…Good food fixed by people like they’d fix it for their family or friends.

So many choices in this food hall but we chose to have some Cuban food. I ordered the Alice sandwich which was a Cubano sandwich topped with chicken (roasted pork, ham, swiss cheese mustard and pickles grilled and pressed). It was pretty good, I really liked the signature pressed sandwich taste of a Cubano. We also got the chicken with black beans, rice and plantains. For a drink we ordered yerba mate which was a nice taste. Cannot go wrong here!

This restaurant moved locations I liked the original location the food was much better. Now it has turned into a fast food restaurant, with a bunch of there small fast food stalls surrounding Havana Cuba. Don’t waste your time coming here.

Fidel would be rolling in his grave at this abomination of a Cuban sandwich. Ordered delivery at a nearby hotel; the food was bland uninspiring and the meat just tasted off like it wasn't fresh. The only edible thing in the delivery was the black beans... yay. The flan was clear & gelatinous like someone dissolved colored water in pectin and let it sit in the fridge for 2 hours.I never expected Cuban food like Versailles Restaurant in Miami but this was very disappointing.
