Been happily visiting this boba shop for a couple years now, never had complaints. Until tonight. Rudest experience of my life, I don't know if there's new employees or management or what. My husband and I went in a couple minutes before 8 pm and when we got to the counter and tried to order, we were rudely informed that we couldn't order chicken because they don't serve food after 8. We looked at the time and said "it's only 8:02, and we waited a while in line..." Guy at the register rolled his eyes and just repeated himself. So let me ask this, why were they serving the other menu items? And why can you still order the chicken online through the app? I'll never know. But I'm pretty sure this will be our last trip to this Happy Lemon location. The employees need to fix their attitude.

The only reason i’m writing this review is because of the service. I was pretty nervous to order something new so when i got an okinawa milk tea (D11) i realized my mistake. i had got it with fresh milk meaning the drink was almost entirely milk. However, as i told the cashier my conundrum, the cashier was still incredibly nice and welcoming. she offered to make me the okinawa roasted milk tea (D13) to replace the one i already ordered. and nail in the coffin was that the new drink is now one of my favorites. she was completely understanding and sweet and i’m definitely coming back!! <33

I love Happy Lemons product. It is a bit more expensive than the average boba place, my drink is usually $7 dollars so I limit my visits to once a week. 99% of the time my drink has been correct and I never wait long at all. Even the one time my drink was incorrect and I had a problem getting it corrected with the staff that was in store I did contact management via email and it was corrected and addressed immediately.

I like the salted cheese drinks from Happy Lemon, but I usually gravitate to other boba shops that offer snacks as well because I'd like food to compliment my drinks and not have to drive to multiple stores. Happy Lemon is offering snacks! Yay! My husband and I ordered 2 of the chicken, one in original and another in salted plum. We also ordered the fried tofu in spicy Mala. I really liked the tofu; it was soft silken tofu. The chicken was pretty good. If you like Li hing mui powder, the salted plum was quite interesting in a good way. The original was light in salt pepper. The wait on the fried foods took a while. My husband's yakult was pretty melted by the time the food was done. Maybe because the fryer was off and took a while to turn on? We were warned that it would take some time, but we really wanted to try to assess the boba snacks here.

Arrived here around 4 pm on a Thursday afternoon to get boba with a friend. Super easy parking around the area, not that many people inside except the staff. Pretty fast in ordering and delivery of my drink! I got one of their popular drinks- passion fruit mango green tea with lychee jelly. Chill vibes with a clean interior from the entrance, lobby, and bathroom. My drink was delicious, semi-sweet, but my only gripe is the passion fruit seeds since they have a weird crunch texture that I wasn't expecting. Good boba shop nearby in south San Jose!

Stopped in for their bubble waffle. Wife and I got the origional and it was excellent. Cousin and husband were first timers and got the chocolate bubble waffle They were happy with their selection but liked the origional bubble better. They will come back and look forward to exposing their grandkids to Happy Lemon. Tried the strawberry shortcake smoothie and it was excellent. Staff was very patient with my cousin and her husband as they were not familiar with the menu and took more time to order.

Everytime I get a drink from here, the boba is so soft, chewy, and tastes so good! I love a milk tea shop with consistent taste and texture in boba. It's also consistent with the other Happy Lemon's in San Jose. I never get tired of these 3 drinks and they are always on rotation for me! 1. Puff Cream Boba Milk Tea 2. Black/Green Tea with Salted Cheese (might sound weird, but it's so good once you mix it up. It's another form of foam on drinks) 3. Wintermelon Lemonade - this is part of their winter series, so it's seasonal, but a must try! No caffeine in this, which is helpful for my night runs here :D The workers are always so nice here too!

I always get the drinks from the cheese series. Love their cheese green tea. The cheese on top at happy lemon is better than other boba spots with a similar item. Cheese is very sweet and the perfect texture to complement the drink. Plenty of parking and fast service. Small interior but there are some seats for small groups.

This is easily my favorite boba store. I have tried a lot of things on the menu, but my favorite is easily the green tea with cheese foam. Sometimes, depending on the worker/ location, the green tea will taste super diluted. However, when it is made correctly, it is a really delicious and unique drink that I have never had at any other boba stores!
