Service was good. I went with my bestie for afternoon tea. The dessert were not as balanced as they could be with almost every dessert containing cream. It was too rich for me.

We celebrated a birthday here last week. First, when you walk in, beautiful. The service is very attentive. Birthday girl was given a card and lovely dessert. Everyone enjoyed the food. The tea is presented in individual pots and they are ready to fill with more water. We especially loved the Lotus and Asparagus plate.

Had afternoon here a few days ago. It was super fancy. Atmosphere of very nice and love the furniture and feel of the place. The staff there were friendly, attentive and professional. The dessert tower was to die for. Everything was sooo yummy and high quality. The tea we paired everything with was scrumptious. Everything was enjoyable! I look forward to going back again.

Nice setup but it's just expensive white people Chinese food. I get you are paying for that experience but any mom and papa Chinese place the food is better. Still a nice place for a date but don't bring a Chinese girl here you're not impressing her

I went here after work for dinner, I wish I hadn't. When you walk in, it's a beautiful place, with a nice bar however the food is just not it. The fried rice had no taste, and the chicken was undercooked. The kungbao chicken tasted like frozen food (as if they put it in the microwave and put it on our table). The service was not terrible but it wasn't great. No waiter was around, we were the only ones in the restaurant. I'm not sure where the waiters were but they were gone for a while and then came to give us the check. If I wasn't that hungry, I wouldn't have stayed and ate the food

food was marginal at best and the place was a ghost town and service was almost non existent. Not going back. not sure how this huge place can make it. Panda Express is better, not kidding

Although their regular lunch and dinner menu is overpriced, they have a surprisingly affordable afternoon tea option available every day until 5pm. With 9 different desserts in the tower, comfortably a size for 3-4. We also got additional dim sum samplers and were pleasantly surprised by how good their dim sum is.

Service is nice, ambiance is nice, been to santana row but everything is full and this is the only resturant thats not full decided to give it a try lol. food is meh? Nothing special about, ive tried other chinese resturants thats cheaper and have better dish. We wanna try the wagyu fried rice but its $25 for a one serving lol. Overpriced basic food that i can eat at a fastfood lol. I think your paying for the place not food. Should have tried din tai fung downstairs maybe?

Man, where to start. Was here with a large party of 20 for a friend's birthday and none of us had been here before. I really hate giving negative reviews for a restaurant unless it was outstandingly bad in some way, but for the TLDR: Great atmosphere, food was ok for the most part, service was awful, price is horrendous. For the rest: So upon walking in, the atmosphere is quite nice. It clearly bills itself as a higher end establishment, and it looks like it. The wait staff were polite, and the restaurant was pretty quiet (though that might be because there weren't many people). Overall, it looks like the kind of place for a date night or event. Problem is the rest of it. As I'm sure you've seen mentioned elsewhere, the food is extraordinarily expensive for what you get. Like I understand you're paying an upcharge for the ambiance, but $15 for like 4 dumplings and $30+ for a few pieces of dim sum? The dim sum might be good, but it's not twice as good as say Ding Tai Fung or King Wah. I could maybe understand the cost if it was a Michelin restaurant or something, but this is not that. Like the food isn't bad, but it's not nearly exceptional enough to warrant the price. My pictures probably make it look a lot better than it tasted. So I personally ordered the Dungeness crab soup and kung pao chicken, and got to try another friend's dumpling/dim sum. The kung pao chicken was pretty awful; dry, bland (surprising for how many peppers they used). I do have to admit though, the Dungeness soup was the surprise of the bunch. I'd say that's the item I found actually worth the price on the menu. Excellent texture and taste, fair amount of crab chunks, and 12 bucks. If they scale all their items to that, this place would be far more popular. But that's if they improve the service... Which was pretty much a mess. The staff were certainly polite, but it was probably the most incompetent service in fine dining that I've experienced. Like please, this isn't a Wendy's, and the restaurant was near empty that night. They messed up the order for almost every person on the table. Sure it was 20 people, but we had about 3 different people wait on us that night, and if you can't coordinate between that, write it down or something (if management doesn't allow that, well that's a separate problem altogether). At the end our table were split into 3 bills, and they gave those to the wrong groups too. So if you're not paying for the service or the food, are you really just paying for the atmosphere? Maybe, but it's not worth that kind of markup and I'd rather just get some Red Robin at that point honestly. I see no reason for me to come here again when there are so many better options at this price point.

Really good food very good service similar portions so you may have to order a little bit more. Dessert was amazing. They only offer one, but it is totally worth getting high tea offered several other desserts so if you want a lot of dessert, do high tea.

It was my first time going and we decided to celebrate my birthday dinner. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The food was delicious and we had a great time. They also made a very cute birthday card with my name on it. They were very on top of removing the plates and making sure my mom had a refill on her hot tea's.

I went with my 5yr old daughter for their noon tea.Reserved online before we went so it was straight forward. The place is extremely pretty, I love their glass finish interiors, so chic and high end. But the high end stops there. The service is ok. I waited to customer ratio is extremely high I guess because it's slow. The food here I want to review it into two psrtsPart 1) their patisseries tower and tea- it's amazing. I love the collection and their tea is ok. I wish their had chamomile tea but that's ok. I also want to warn you that the tower is just patisseries and not sandwiches or scones which isn't technically a noon tea according to me. I'll give 4 star for whatever I ate in the towerPart 2) their food. It's extremely bad and overly priced for a very small portion. Their shui Mai was very avg and the dumplings was just very bleh. I got three pieces (small portion, too good taste is usually this was just small portion poor taste and expensive food). Their noodle was extremely bad too with no taste and really stake tasting shrimp and meat, I was beyond disappointed. Here is my take away, go only to eat those tiny patisseries and drink tea and don't even attempt their food and u r ok. But remember just sweets will be hard to consume and u might end up ordering something that u will 90% regret.

Pricey for low quality of food. Fried rice is bland. Dim sum is quite similar taste as instant dim sum. Personally do not recommend to try. If you want to spend that much money, try Din Tai Fund instead. They are pricey too but good quality of food.
