Food was surprisingly good for such a hole in the wall. Drawbacks are a bit pricey and cash only plus they'll tax you on that too so just bring at least 15 for one person. Interesting to try once but not a go to.

CASH ONLY. The tacos I highly recommend are the Carne Asada ones. The meat is always juicy and tender and while their salsa is always super spicy, it is tasty. You just have to find how much you can take. Once you nail that, it's all smooth and delicious sailing! ? The taqueria is located inside of a tiny convenience/liquor store. There are no tables or any kind of sitting. Twenty years ago I used to live in San Jose. This was my go to place for tacos. I just paid them a visit and it's exactly as I described it, which was the same thing it was 20 years ago. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because the tacos are a bit overpriced. Tacos at a sit down restaurant are something like $2.75. Theirs are $3.50 for a small street taco, with no sitting, bathroom access or anything else. Delicious tacos though. What I ended up doing was having one taco from this taqueria (to satisfy my craving) and then getting my tummy full at a sit down restaurant... ?

Great tacos. Lots of variety in protein. Cash only. Located inside Cazadores Bottle Shop. Hole-in-the-wall in all the best ways.

I bought disposable vapes here and they don't even work. Pretty much a waste of money to spend here. Better to just buy the alcohol here than anything else cuz that's the only thing that's gonna be worth your money. Scammers

BEST CARNITAS OF MY LIFE oh my goodness. I love coming here. Everything I try melts in my mouth. Great customer service and PHENOMENAL food. I wish this was closer to my house. My mouth IS SO HAPPY

Best veggie burrito in San José! She offers different types of veggie options. Her rice and beans are great, which is often lost in burritos, but super important in a veggie. Without the cheese and cream you can appreciate the flavors in her ingredients. I Really enjoyed the soyrizo burrito. Much like the vegan taquerias in Mexico City, it's authentic, great textures and flavors. No need for the cheese cream or even salsa! So glad to finally have a good burrito place that isn't on wheels!

Real and fresh, just how I like it.

My friend told me about this place and said they have the best quesadillas in San Jose. After coming here for the second time, I have to agree. I usually get carne asada and al pastor. Located in a liquor store so it might be a little bit sketch at night, but you'll probably be fine :).

I ordered veggie tacos and they were very tasty. The place is inside a store but was clean and service was quick.
