I ordered Baghali Polo with shank. Rice was completely uncooked, and the meat tough, and chewy. I had the rice changed to white rice, but it wasn’t cooked either. Will not go there again.

Uncooked rice and shank. I asked the manager why the rice was not cooked? He said we cook it for one hour - where is quality control? If seems that they follow a recipe, but do NOT make sure the food is properly prepared. The shank was the same, chewy, chewy!!! Don't waste your money. There is NOT a good Persian restaurant in northern CA. I've tried them all. If want a good one you've to go to southern CA.

Excellent food. Bought chicken koobide and mix koobide. Both very amazing. Seasoning is excellent. Rice and meat quantity is also generous. The price is very reasonable. Definitely give it a try!

We got shish kabob combo which is three different kind of meat. Unfortunately, all three were bland. The meats were not marinated long enough. They used sprouted onion in between the meats on the skewer, and the nasty taste of it was on the meat, too.The rice was bland and mushy. Not Persian style.This was my first time ordering here and, unfortunately, will not order again.

Pros: food was ok. Good selection. Clean interiorCons: chicken kabob was not marinated with persian herbs and tasted non-persian.Barg kabob was listed as fillet on the menu which was misleading. Mast o khiar was old and cucumbers had gone so soft. Persian ice-cream was out at 1pm! The environment not only didn’t look and feel persian at all: no farsi speaking staff, no persian music or decor, also didn’t feel happy.Parking: A small parking lot availableKid-friendliness: Persian food is generally healthy, nutritious and kid friendly
I ordered their beef and chicken koobideh with a side of Persian salad and veggies for takeout dinner on DoorDash. I called them twice to confirm my order details since I ordered off DoorDash and they assured me they had my order right only to come home to the salad entirely missing and the white sauce I requested and they promised would be provided complimentary, also missing. So frustrating to be so hungry after a long day to find half of my order missing when I paid for it in advance smh. Also, the quality of the koobideh tasted old and not freshly cooked. Waste of money and dinner since I didn't even get filled from the small quantity.

First time ordering didn't leave a good impression because they left off one of my items so my husband and I had to share one meal. The Koobideh was good, I liked the Koobideh beef better than the chicken but my husband liked both. The eggplant dip didn't taste right, like it was missing something and the tomato and cucumber salad had no flavor.

I would rate the food quality zero, koobide kabob was super dry and tasteless, not a healthy and fresh option. Secondly, since we arrived to the restaurant around 7:40 pm, we were not welcomed at all,. The female staff ( you can see her in the pictures) rolled her eyes and mentioned that we are already closing!!!! So rude!! Such a ughh and toxic environment???? a waste of money and time
