Had this place to myself at 3:30pm (late lunch). Asked for a recommendation and they suggested the spicy pork lunch special. Boom! Perfect choice. I never eat all of the rice; however, this was so scrumptious that I couldn't stop grabbing flavor! I'll be back for certain!

Great restaurant for private parties. We ate here for a private event in the back room they have for private parties. The staff was very attentive and helpful to serve our entrees. The beef ribs were so tender and flavorful paired with the kimchi and sides. It was a really great meal we all enjoyed very much.

We came here for my husbands birthday and was pleasantly surprised on the amazing service and food! We knew that this place had been around for awhile and was a bit skeptical however the experience was 5 stars! From the sides to the main meat entrees, it was like eating at your grandma's house. Though I am not of Korean descent, I have tried numerous restaurants and it all seemed so authentic and fresh! Will most definitely be returning!

Authentic and really good Korean food. I have been coming here for years. Service is friendly. Family owned business.

This place does not exist, at least in person. The address is the same as Korean Palace, but if you try to ask about the menu items (e.g.: kimbap, naengmyun), the waiters in Korean Palace say they don’t serve it and don’t know anything about “K-Pop Menu”. Really disappointing as I was craving kimbap. Will edit if I learn new information.

An average Korean food place. Nothing spectacular, with very good service and attention to detail. Try it if you are in the area, and your budget allows it.

This place is only for people who want to eat koren food. It is NOT a place for koren BBQ. It looks like an old folks home cafeteria inside. The lady, I'm guessing she's the owner was SO rude to us when we walked in. We turned around and left and came to GEN Koren BBQ House at the Westgate Shopping center. I do not recommend this place unless you are in your 60s or higher. No offense to older people because I am in my 50s.

This place has been around since I was a little kid growing up the South Bay in the 80s. Recently I organized a catered buffet lunch after a burial and the service by the owner, Daniel, was excellent. He was transparent about the pricing and value and everything went smoothly. We ordered for 85 people and only 35 showed up so they provided ample to go boxes, which we super appreciated. The banquet room has been the place of many celebrations, including first birthdays. There's ample parking in the back. We were allowed to hang out a bit after we ate, which we appreciated (lunch was supposed to start at noon but most people got there by 1 and we left around 330). The food was excellent - especially the tang su yuk and fried shrimp. It reminded me of my childhood. All the food was really good. I want to come back and bring my kids here to eat! One annoyance that gets honorable mention is the plate police lady who was kind of rude (the one who scoops the rice). I understand she's counting plates but several guests mentioned it. She was only nice at the end, once we passed out extra rice cake so I guess we should've given it to her earlier . She seemed like she was in a hurry and didn't want to serve us food (no eye contact, no smiles, just annoyed gestures at our guests who had just attended a burial in the rain, some who had flown out of town for this). They weren't short staffed that day as it wasn't that busy on a rainy Tuesday lunch. Even still, I would highly recommend this place for any celebration - birthday, wedding, anniversary, post memorial/burial (celebration of life).

Korean Palace is an authentic and delicious Korean restaurant and BBQ in the SF Bay Area., as Christine Y., another Yelp Reviewer, says here, they serve and prepare food how a Korean mom would with great ingredients and care. My family and I have come here for years, had even become regulars and friends with the waitresses with our Korean and non Korean friends or on our own and everyone has left full, happy and in a good mood. This is not one of those trendy new BBQ places with trendy cuts of pork belly and fancy drinks but is one of the best Korean restaurants I have ever been to, and the dishes here are delicious from all of the BBQ dishes especially the tender juicy kabli, all of the side dishes, the seaweed soup, the pan fried yellow croaker, pan fried mackerel, bibimbap, tofu soups and more.

The places looks kinda old and questionable on the outside, however, it is quite nice and clean inside. The service was decent and the staff were very nice and polite. I know some folks might find the rude, but I think that is just a language issue. One of the older Korean waitress would say things repeatedly.. like "yeah yeah yeah".. Some might think she is being rude, but that is really how she talks and how she was expressing her urgency to take care what you asked for.The food.. depends on what you ordered. The tofu soup was not so great, but their spicy raw crabs was very good. They also provide way more selections on the side dishes as well. Overall, it was a good experience and we will return..

Very polite service and the food is really yummy, just the outside of the restaurant needs a little updating to bring in more customers I think

Great service, delicious food, and an all around great dinner experience for those craving Korean bbq offered on or off the grill.

Korean Palace Restaurant Down in Santa Clara. If you shop at Valley Fair Mall, just exit onto Forest street and it whizzes you under a big street and take a left and you'll be on the back side of the restaurant. Less than 2 minutes! The staff super friendly and attentive. The food super authentic! Had the raw marinated crab with a yummy house radish soup! Old school mom and pop shop... let's support them! Not new and fancy with Instagram wall... don't need that when all you need is easy drive, free parking, and great food and staff! And the beer in a super chilled beer mug . I'm giving it 5 stars because I'm was not planning to be in a pretentious new shiny restaurant. It 5 for the mom and pop category. It's big and has bbq options too.

I've come in for a sit down meal and had Daniel cater a event. Both occasions were great, excellent service, easy communication, fair prices and good food. The restaurant itself is big with also space for catering. Everyone loved the food and received many compliments. Street parking and parking lot in back.
