Low quality food, bad service and presentation of food, everything was served not only in plastic/paper containers but was served in a to-go bag!Parking: Sharing the parking lot with Costco, trader jo’s sometimes makes it difficult to find a spot nearby.

3 dollars more expensive than other L&L locations in the area. Signed that advertised 50 cents per extra sauce but was charged $1.01 and the cashier allow the difference of 1 cent with cash. False advertising of price, the sauce was shown to not 50.5 cents. On top of this I didn't receive my correct order that I paid extra for substitution. Totally incompetent, give your money to the location down the road.

My first visit to L&L Hawaiian Barbecue - Call me unimpressed. For $19.30 I received rubbery beef that tasted like the oily grill it was cooked on and the chicken had the same yucky flavor notes. No sauce to spice-up the rice or Mac salad, unless you wanted to pony-up more $$. I've got fond memories of Hawaiian BBQ from when I was stationed in Hawaii with the Navy, but I won't be coming to L&L's to recreate that experience.

Poor service Slow service They told me they don't sell sodas and I looked over to my left and there's a fridge filled with sodas I said you don't sell sodas? She said oh well just not Coca-Cola Over all food was delicious but the environment just seems depressing and stinky I'd still eat here if I lived in San Jose solid 1 star for customer service 3 stars for food barely

Today I had a very negative experience at this location that I frequent. I provided my services through the third party, DoorDash, and needed to call into the store regarding an issue. Well, a very rude and unkind woman named Karla "assisted me" over the phone. I called in due to the fact that the DoorDash app was not allowing me to change my side, to a salad, which is an option on the menu. I politely asked for her name upon her answering the phone- in which she responded with, "An employee!!" After finally receiving her name so that I could address her properly, I proceeded with my request. I asked her if she could please add a salad to my incoming Dash order, instead of the macaroni salad since I was unable to do this myself on the app. She proceeded to tell me it was 25 cents more. I explained that if I used another app, such as GrubHub where it does give me this option, it was going to cost me $10 more, so I was hoping I could verbally put in this request with her as it's only 25 cents- reluctantly, she agreed and said she would "speak with the cook." When I received my order, there was no salad dressing for my salad. I called back and she answered again. She was once again blatantly impolite towards me. She said to me, "you didn't tell me what salad dressing you wanted." I proceeded to explain that I did not know there was a choice of dressings and that I don't work at this establishment so I should have been asked when I called in. She responded to me with a reminder that I didn't have to pay the extra 25 cents for the salad that I received. I let her know how petty and rude she was being over 25 cents. She sharply cut me off and asked - "is that all?!" I expressed wanting to speak with management, but she stated she wasn't there and she won't be back until next week. Terrible customer service and zero phone etiquette. I will NOT be returning to this location again and will be calling back to speak with store manager, "Vanessa."

The food here is great. Service is great too and it's atmosphere. But yesterday I was annoyed and not happy and so we're other customers too. We we're sitting down to eat and we we're told that we could not eat here because they had already cleaned up. It was only 8:17 pm and please tell me am I wrong that I wanted to sit down and eat my food inside? After a long day that's all I wanted to do is sit down inside and eat. Where's the Aloha bruh.............

The food is usually prepared well, today the meats were on the dry side. My biggest complaint is about the service. Most of the time the cashiers look like they don't want to be there. I think the negative attitudes can affect the business and the potential tips for the other employees. When you order and they say "name?" and don't even say thank you after you pay, in my opinion is terrible customer service. I go there for the food, but the terrible attitudes of the cashier make me not want to return.

This is my favorite, L & L barbecue. The food is always fresh and ready when I arrive. Service is always friendly and portions are very large. Prices have gone up over the years but the food is always worth it. The minis are a tremendous amount of food. And you can ask for all macaroni salad if you don't want rice. Highly recommend.

Food was okay, a little too sugary. Service was okay. Ambiance was empty as we ordered around 4pm. I only crave L&L once a in a blue moon, however, food is okay.

First appearance walking up to store was run down. You couldn't see through the windows they where so dirty. The inside was not much better with the walls all scratched up and dirty floors. Had to see the bathroom which was pretty nasty. Service was alright. Food was ok, chicken was a little dry. If owner would spend a little money updating this place I bet they would get a lot more business being in such a busy plaza. I hope the owner see's this cause I really like L&L. Please clean your windows it's not that hard. Lol
