Simple EatsSan Jose’s Little Saigon is a treasure trove of simple comfort eatsRather than advance reservations or prix-fixe menus, you find an abundance of flavors served simply and quicklyI dropped by Leung Noodle to try of the newer Cambodian style Hu Tieu noodle specialistsAt 10:30 AM, the place was packed and bustling…always a good signThe menu focuses on only one item - Hu Tieu - and simply offers multiple customization optionsI ordered the Dac Biet (special) that is served with a large pork bone. I chose the dry style with soup on the side, chose both egg and rice noodle, and ordered a simple beef ball soup for extra brothFlavors are great, especially the signature sauces and the condiment game is strong with delicious pickled garlic and chili oilI found Leung Noodle cleaner than Nam Vang, less artificial tasting than Dalat, and with a more authentic Hu Tieu version than China Chen noodle options (I ❤️ China Chen)Leung Noodle (Silver Creek, San Jose) has no geolocation or instagram handle? #2 Dac Biet (Saigon Special), Kho (Dry style with special sauce), Hu Tieu Mi (Rice and Egg noodles) $15.50 ~ Saigon shrimp and pork, (#1 toppings of slice pork, ground pork, liver, heart, shrimp, squid, fried garlic, green onions, cilantro / Beef Ball Soup $6?Leung Noodle (San Jose, CA)Indoor dining only. Credit cards including AmEx accepted. $0.50 surcharge for credit cards.

My favorite go to spot for dry hu tieu noodles :) The service is great; you order and get your food super fast!My go to order is the seafood (shrimp only) with rice noodles and soup on the side. I love how they give you a lot of veggies as well.Ambiance is like any other viet spot; definitely good for a quick eat :)

10/2023-Great dishes but tips were calculated after tax. Be careful.3/2023-Tried to visit again patiently waiting outside for 20 min while over a dozen others just walked in and were seated before us. I just left.1/2023-Nam Vang dry noodles and bánh canh giò heo had really great flavor! Definitely want to try their other dishes. Very crowded on the weekends. Contactless payment available but small credit card fee for under $20

This for sure is my favorite spot for nam vang! You have to order a side of Chinese donuts (not pictured because it came later :p)My favorite thing about this restaurant is the pickled garlic! Such a game changer, I added so many spoonfuls to my plate, literally half the container lolYou can tell they clean their meat really well bc I actually enjoyed eating the liver slice!I always order my noodles dry with the soup on the side so you can honestly have 2 different dishes in one mealIt looks like a small portion but I got full eating half. 10/10 would recommend! The waiter was really nice too, I kept asking for things and she didn't hesitate and kept a friendly demeanor :)

I was in this plaza deciding what to eat when I landed on Leung Noodle for some dry noodles. I walked in for an early dinner and only a few other tables were taken. I was seated right away. I appreciate that their menu is simple and straightforward - you choose dry (sauced with soup on the side) or soup, noodle type, and then what kind of toppings/type of dish you want (wonton, chicken, etc). I opted for the #2 dac biet (which has everything from #1 nam vang with an extra bone marrow), dry and with hu tieu (rice noodles). Veggies that I generally associate with pho came out, along with a side of sauce. The meal came out shortly after. The bowl the noodles are served in are very deep and a little wide, so it makes the portion look measly. However, it surprisingly filled me up. There's definitely more in there than it looks. The noodles were fine, but I loved the assortment of meats and seafood in there. It felt very generous on the meat. Having the additional bone marrow on the side was delicious as well to nibble on, and the soup it was in was slightly sweet. To pay, you go up to the register instead of wait for a check. The workers were super quick and helpful. Very solid bowl of hu tieu nam vang. It doesn't beat my favorite spot (Nam Vang), but it was still good and prices are reasonable. Would return especially if I'm in this area again!

I've been here a handful of times, and realized this is my go-to place for hu tieu these days. It doesn't beat NV, but it's still pretty good and satisfies my hu tieu cravings. Also, I like how their menu is set up with different noodle and protein options. The restaurant is also clean and the service is great.I recently tried their fried ha cao (friend shrimp dumping) and it was delicious! I don't even like ha cao tbh, and never really eat it at dim sum places, but I liked it fried here. Will definitely get that from now on instead of the Chinese donuts (the Chinese donuts wasn't that good).

Lunch at Leung's Noodle was a unique and delightful experience. We ordered the Banh Canh Nam Vang and Hu Tieu Dac Biet, priced at $14.50 and $15.50, respectively. While the service was decent, it lacked a bit of attentiveness, and I ended up getting my own water. The flavors were good, but I wasn't a fan of their boiled bean sprout garnishes. Despite appearances, the portion sizes are ample, and it's a great option if you are craving Hu Tieu! What sets Leung's Noodle apart is its unique menu format, allowing you to customize your bowl with choices for the broth, noodles (including options like rice, egg, and instant noodles), and toppings like Nam Vang and wontons. The highlight of my meal was definitely their in-house pickled garlic, which had the perfect blend of acidity, sweetness, and spiciness. I will definitely come back just for their pickled garlic - it was that good! Leung's Noddle is located across from Target with plenty of dessert options nearby (matcha, boba, soft serve). Parking can be a challenge and the plaza has a reputation for car break-ins so make sure all your important belongings are out of sight or with you!

Amazing food! Love it! Small restaurant so the atmosphere is quite limited. Portion is pretty small too. But they are DELICIOUS!

My sugar was low, and I needed some carbs. We stopped here for a couple bowls of noodle soup, and they also had won ton. That made for a simple solution. Won Ton Soup with Egg Noodles. Pork for here and shrimp for me. We both enjoyed our orders. She was jealous that my Won Ton were larger than hers but that's where they put the shrimp. The soup was a tad salty, but oh so addictive! When I wasn't paying attention, she snuck in an order of Egg Rolls as well. We really didn't need them, and we were both stuffed when we walked out. Service was minimal but efficient. As we were leaving, I asked for our water cups to be filled with just ice and the server has happy to accommodate my request.

Went to try this place out because it's not your typical Viet Mi Noodles, and honestly, i was not disappointed. They do the typical Mi here, but they also do it Cambodian style. I got the Mi combination that has the dry noodles with sauce on them and the pork bone broth on the side. Add some garlic, jalapeños, or chili oil to the noodles, and it's so good. The place is small, so you need to choose a good time to go, we went after 1 so we missed out on the lunch crowd. They do charge you extra for CC transactions, so you may want to bring some cash to pay for your meal. I highly recommend giving this place a try. It may not be worth a line wait but is worth trying.
