Noodle soup is ok. Nice service though.

Incredible. This restaurant captures the balance of Vietnamese food and delivers spectacularly. The chili oil and jalapeños are fresh, the dishes are delicious, and the people are great. Dine here.

I love this restaurant! I have always gone here with my Mom and it be just me and my Mom and we order the #1 and it so smacks!! Or I have gone here with another Dad, somebody's Dad and they would order something for their Mom. But yeah, definitely the joint where all our Moms and Dads have heard got a recommendation. So bomb!! Definitely a recommendation, I would say, San Jose's very own.

I've been the patron for this place for years but it's quite amazing to see them keep raising their price yet the quality keeps going the opposite direction. Had a bowl of their most basic combo noodle for $16+, yet one of the main ingredient, the soy cooked pork slices taste and smell staled, if you had exposed to some kind of rotten meat before you know how bad they are. I hope they improve their food storage process.

Me and family have been going here for years since I was young child. The food here is solid. They are known for their egg noodles. I typically get the roasted duck or fried chicken egg noodle. Sometimes if I'm not feeling noodles I will get the fried chicken with red rice is also really good. The food comes out pretty quickly and service is decent. The staff seems to be alert and attentive. It's a family owned restaurant so you definitely feel the comfort here.

This place has been opened for a really long time. There noodles used to be better but maybe my taste buds improved but still a super solid spot to get some noodles .

I was in need of some chicken soup because I was dealing with food poisoning. I couldn't eat anything due to nausea but needed to eat something I called and placed an order and it was ready for pick up in 10 minutes. I arrived and the order was packed and ready to go. The staff were friendly and prompt and I appreciated the comforting chicken noodle soup (M010). I got my husband the bbq duck with rice and he loved it. It is a small mom and pop type of Vietnamese restaurant across from an elementary school. It definitely helped me feel better!

Was suggested to try the M01 house special soup. Was less flavorful than plain chicken broth. The piece of chicken was a joint with little meat. It came with an uncleaned shrimp trapped in a crispy plate like Han Solo. Pretty inedible as it had clearly been sitting in the back and was not made fresh. I will not be back.

i think it's time to retire? I don't think I i'll ever come back. Quality has one down drastically.

Amazing mì vit quay (roasted duck noodle soup) at this shop. Growing up in OC, I've always loved this restaurant so it was a major plus to know there was a location in the Bay Area too. All of the noodle soups here share their same signature broth which is very flavorful and fulfilling, especially on a cold day. Their roasted duck that comes with the noodles is always on point with a crispy skin texture and tender duck meat. I really love the pickled peppers they make as an accompaniment to the noodle soup. The owner and staff are super sweet and welcoming.

M01 is usually the only thing I order there with broth over the noodles. It's $14 a bowl for a small, so inflation has really hit this place. You now get less crispy chicken in your order. I don't mind the less chicken but I do mind that the shrimp cake came out cold and stale. It it supposed to be crispy and something that you look forward to. The broth is still excellent but I would expect them to nail the dish from the cracklings in the broth, crispness of the chicken and shrimp cake. Make it good on all fronts The kids liked the wonton soup and noodles. They weren't a fan of then chicken and noodles since it was a cut up thigh piece.
