Food: I am very impressed with the serving here. It's very tasty and pretty big I must say! I can guarantee the they serve the biggest rolls by far! The salad had a good amount of dressing and the sushi is prolly half of my palm I kid you not! 4.5/5 Service: This is my first time seeing a sign that says "2hrs max stay" to think that it's not a buffet. It makes me think that this is a big corporation that doesn't encourage dining essence which is to enjoy the meal & good company. I feel like the only thing that matters is the number of guests that spends the money here. Staff is average. Not welcoming. Avoids eye contact when trying to get their attention. For me, it's a 2/5. Ambiance: I like the idea of having a lot of booths. Nice Japanese ambiance and ideal for a not too fancy first date. Family friendly as well. I think 4/5 is pretty fair.

Ambiance: The Mizu San Jose location is a place we go to from time to time. The ambiance of this place is average (i.e. - read nothing special whatsoever). The tables are crammed together like a cafeteria and the booths are tight and uncomfortable. Service: We have been here a few times (twice in the past 12 months) and I have to say both times the servers were SLOW, unresponsive to our asks, and the service just seemed to be strained. I am not sure if this is because they have a ton of tables and are short staffed or the servers simply don't care. Food: I would say the food is AVERAGE (i.e. - not great but not bad either...very average). Here is what we ordered for the table: Apps -------- * Agedashi Tofu: The app was tasty and we all enjoyed it. * Spicy Popcorn Scallops: This app was OK...nothing great. Mains --------- * Chicken Bulgogi: My parents got this to share and I have to say I tried it and it was DELICIOUS! The chicken was very tender and tasty! * Salmon Teriyaki (Kids): My son got this and enjoyed the fish but didn't care for the rest of the stuff on the plate. * Chicken Katsu: My older son got this and he finished ALL of the chicken which means it was very tasty as he is quite picky. * Rainbow Blossom: This had an EXCELLENT presentation and was quite good. * Shrimp Tempura Roll: My wife always gets this at almost all the places we go and she said that this was good. Price: I would say, given that the ambiance is average at best, service is below average, and food is average to good...the price is NOT a great value for money (THIS is the reason I am giving this place a 3 star review). I would go here only if there is no where else to go. Ps: The menu is extremely hard to follow and not designed well!

Food was okay. They definitely make it look appealing.Maybe it's the location or the flower they add to every plate, but it's definitely overpriced.Service was great :)It was actually pretty empty when we came so we didn't have to wait. The server was able to provide excellent service since we were one of the few people.I personally wouldn't come back but 4 stars for customer service.Kid-friendliness: High chairs available.

Food was okay. They definitely make it look appealing with the flowers. I have to say the sushi plates are Instagram worthy but not worth the drive. 4 stars for customer service.

The best quality when it comes to sushi. Staff is amazing. When you sit to eat you don't want to leave because the vibes are great. Never feel rushed or ignored. Favorite sushi place in San Jose.

My cousin took my brother and me here when we were visiting her recently and it was a great experience. We dined in at a booth and the ambiance was great. Our waitress was also nice and on top of things. I liked sipping on my mojito as I enjoyed the miso soup and the sushi rolls here. The rainbow blossom roll was very aesthetic and tasted great especially with the sauce. I just wished there weren't as many of the deep-fried scallops on top since I couldn't finish them. I also shared the sun kissed roll, mizu jumbo roll, and crazy dragon roll, all of which were amazing too. I felt like the freshness of the fish was great and I wish I had this restaurant near where I live.

Food tastes really average but the price & the potion of food quantity are too expensive compared with the other restaurants we have been to. We ordered $64 sashimi, the piece of fish was cut very thin for a total of 20 slices with nothing special fish ( salmon, 2 kinds of tuna, hamachi, white fish), very thin and small pieces. We also ordered a couple of special rolls which costs over $21 with only 5 thin slices. The only thing we felt worth was hamachi kama which tasted good and portion was reasonable. It was our first time to visit and will never go back.

Good stuff. Done ate it all. Fish. Just keep swimming! Soup, salad, sushi. Just like home. If I lived in Japan. Which I don't. And this is Campbell. I miss sushi boats. The ones in a little river in front of you. What happened to those?Wheelchair accessibility: Roll right in.

Mizu's flavor palette never misses! When I'm craving fresh fish, this is my go-to. The place is a bit pricey and always packed but it's worth it. Portion sizes are big, so don't let the price scare you. This place is almost always packed so expect a wait, no matter what. It's loud and crammed. Ask for a booth if you can, save yourself the hassle and bumping back to back with strangers.

The wait was short with plenty of parking...very accommodating but reservations recommended...sushi is really good...spicy mango roll was one of our favorite...beer and regular drinks...portions are good to share...sports on TV and sushi bar to see the chefs...a bit pricy but what sushi place isn't

really good service and the sushi is amazing. the restaurant is very nice and clean, location is great, the only thing that needs to be improved is the parking.

My family are avid diners at sushi restaurants and enjoy the range from sashimi, to nigiri, to rolls. Boy, we are fans of rolls. We know that fancy rolls are more Western/American interpretations of traditional/simpler Japanese rolls. But we are big fans. And Mizu makes some of the tastiest, finely textured, creative rolls in the South Bay Area. On the pricy side, but worth it if we feel like splurging.

My favorite sushi restaurant closed, so we tried Mizu for my birthday. They do offer a free dessert option for birthdays, but it's limited. The food was good and the service was kind and quick despite a very busy restaurant. The ambience could use some sprucing up though - pretty loud, tables packed in, fairly harsh lighting and no music or other “experience” other than the food. They are also quite pricey. I know this is partly to do with inflation in general, but they are pricier than other places. I will return, but maybe not on a weekend.
