I tried Ethiopian food for the first time, the food was good and delicious. It might have been my taste but I did not like it. Nothing to take away from the restaurant of there servers, they did a good job of making and handling the food. Service and atmosphere was excellent, we're extremely polite.

Ordered: Sambusa, Veggie combo and doro wot.Very good quality food. Really enjoyed this spot. The doro wot had a very nice taste. This may be one of my favorite doro wots that I have had recently. The chicken was nicely cut up (off the bone).The veggie combo was also top notch. The misir and yekik were my favorites (as they always are!).

I love Ethiopian food. LOVE. There are no restaurants within 2 hours of my home, so I love trying new ones when visiting other cities. I tried Mudai & I will be returning!It is a "hole in the wall," but relatively clean. The host was friendly & the food was delicious. I ordered a vegetarian platter with a side of doro wat. I had enough leftovers for a second dinner, breakfast, & lunch the next day. The food is a touch on the spicy side compared to other places, which was OK for me. Highly recommend!

Stellar as always! The lamb tibs were tender and well spiced, injera was cooked perfectly and our spicy vegetarian combo was flavorful. Kitfo was delicious (although I recall it coming with ayib in the past but perhaps that has changed). Love the local and casual feel to this friendly dining spot that is always filled with happy regulars! It's been too long since we have visited and we definitely won't let as much time pass until we return.
