Read that a Celtic band performs here on Tuesdays! So we drove. The band is great! What a cool cultural, fun and unique attraction for a weeknight in downtown San Jose!As exciting as the band was, the service and food is proportionally awful. A girl with long purple hair and a short, brunette BOTH waited on the table providing embarrassingly poor service. Made the mistake of ordering a SPICY chicken sandwich. Boy, it has a kick. Problem is, Acid Reflux. Both dad and I missed this important note upon ordering it.Waitresses kept asking what we wanted drink. I wanted something but they offered no help, suggestions, even when prompted and I felt a bad vibe/total apathy from both. Sort of a bad attitude as if I was inconveniencing them.ALSO, IMPORTANT: not once was water offered, asked about with SPICY food. I had to get up and ask the bartender for water with “no ice”. He was chill about my request, but pointed to a SELF SERVICE option which had ice in it!Hello: Why is it self-service water if there is TABLE SERVICE? Clearly they didn’t expect a tip. So we didn’t! Something I don’t believe in. Also felt very uncomfortable during the whole experience. Poor dad had a visibly terrible reaction to the food and the waitresses could not have cared less. NO ONE CAME TO CHECK ON US after food was delivered. Sandwich reflected attitudes: no one cares.. slightly burnt.Leaving very sad. Will never go back and will warn my friends.

I travel a lot with my job. Been to many Irish Pubs in various cities around the world. I was excited to visit this place when I saw it. Went with a business colleague for dinner. We were both disappointed with the food. Quality was mediocre and quantity was small for the $. The bartender was friendly but paid more attention to the regulars that were in . We were somewhat ignored due to this. The decor is charming and nice. However the vibe doesn’t say “Irish or Ireland” while sitting there. Music selection maybe part of this.I don’t think I’ll revisit next time I’m in town nor recommend it to others.

Great beer, music, and service. Didn't have any food, so I can't comment on that, but everything else was great.

I had such high hopes for this, the glorious day of our Saint Patrick. To say I was let down is a severe understatement. $10 cover fee, $12 for a beer, and $30 for a small plate of mediocre food. After this event I’m going to have to refill and up my prescription of Lexapro. Whoever runs this event must wear kinky boots. Up the RA. ? ?
