No complaints regarding ordering and pick up from cloud kitchen. However, we found that although the dosas and chutneys taste great, it has a lot of MSG. I am highly sensitive to MSG and it doesn't suit my system. If you can tolerate MSG well, you can go ahead and order.

We had live dosa party for our son's birthday and we absolutely loved it. All guests enjoyed the delicious appetizers and varieties of Dosas. We had Once Upon a Dosa cater at a private event recently. The entire process was transparent, smooth and flexible.The dosa station was a great hit! It was appreciated by everyone that attended. And if you haven’t already, you must taste the Badam halwa. It was heavenly, people took multiple servings. The containers used also enhanced the ambience.All in all, I highly recommend using Once upon a Dosa for your next event!

We went to their kitchen on a Sunday evening. It was open according to the website/Google. We placed the order, and sat there - waited for our order to be ready. Our 22 month old twins were with us and we believed that the kitchen order would be quick. The kiosk suggested that the time for order pickup would be 7-17 mins. We waited for 30 minutes - hungry, managing hangry toddlers and our order kept showing delayed. I then called the number and requested them to make it quick when they informed us that the kitchen was closed and the order should not have gone through in the first place. We were so so upset. We had hungry and cranky children, we had waited for 35 minutes by this time and had no quick alternatives for dinner.Next time you go - make sure you call them and ask if they are open in the first place, because well, they will close the physical kitchen but might have not bothered to close the system online making it difficult and frustrating for their customers. This happened on 5.30 pm - and up until 8 pm google showed them open, door dash was taking their orders (it is not just the kiosk that wasn't working). I made it a point to check before I posted a negative review because while the money for our order had been refunded, more customers could clearly have ordered and might have to go through this ordeal.

We hired Rukmani to cater our little boy’s birthday party last night for more over 50 people. Overall, we were quite pleased with the food, service, and, in particular, the live dosa booth! The dinner was brought in with great packaging, with high-quality ingredients, and on time!When I initially called Rukmani, it was barely two days before the event, and I'm still in awe at how she managed to coordinate everything so quickly before the event. I don't usually post reviews online, but I'm personally very happy with these people and would heartily suggest them for absolutely delicious South Indian vegetarian items!I'm grateful.

We have been catering from Wellbowls for a while now. We love Rukhmini’s innovative, healthy and tasty creations. We had an onsite dosa party the past weekend. We had requested no onions/garlic and nuts. The food was excellent. Dosas were crispy and yummy. She offered many varieties of dosas. Our guests loved the Millet noodles. Happy guests, happy hosts!

This review is for an on-site dosa party catering in may 2023.10/10 for food, service and communication.I had always wanted to host a dosa party but never had enough crowd since most dosa catering a require a minimum of 50.Even though there are several restaurants that also do it- Rukhmani stands out with her prompt responses, clean and healthy preparation, great communication and lower minimum people requirement. She was very friendly over phone- provided her recommendations. I loved all her appetizer ideas- was very confused to choose one. She even allowed me to sample some of the options before I chose.The food was excellent. The dosas were very tasty! The staff who made the dosas for us was very patient. He was also offering recommendations since some of my guests didn't know much about dosas. My guests loved them and had one of each which made me happy as the host! I loved the fact that they didn't want to waste food after the party- they even gave me the batter and I loved how conscious they were about wastage.Overall- I would recommend Rukhmani and team if you're looking to cater or have onsite parties :)

Great to have a selection of vegan items/dosas including the waffle bowls which I'd highly recommend. The rose almond chia shake was pretty good as well. It's only a take-out place.

The concept is great but cost to the food ratio is not great. I ordered 2x of the bowls and I was still hungry after eating both. That's 28$ right there which is too expensive for a place that is doing pickups at a ghost kitchen.The food was not that impressive as well, The service is not really great at the ghost kitchen as there is hardly anyone there.I don't think I ll be visiting again but not my cup of tea.

Hosted an onsite Fusion taco bar and Dosa party catering in Novemeber and was extremely pleased with the service. The onsite chef's were amazing, friendly and were individually catering to the needs of our party guests while making dosas. Quality of the food was superior, doasas, chutney, Sambhar, Veggie pulav had great flavors. Badam halwa was divine, and the guests were going in for seconds. What was special about the service was all the food was served in decent server ware instead of the regular aluminum trays. Would definitely recommend them for any family events and get-together. Thank you

Freshness of home made food that is delicious and mouth watering. All age groups loved the dosa (12 varieties to choose from) ans fresh spongy idli. Apart from the food itself the utensils and entire set up was hygienic and clean. Um I don't understand how the madness happened tbh. How did dosa batter ever end up on a waffle iron and then have fresh greens and curry on it?! It makes zero sense. But I am not complaining. Its so good! I do have some suggestions though. I wish there was options on the type of dosa batter eg moong bean, Madras gram, etc. also wish the dosa was thinner to avoid extra carbs. That being said I still thoroughly enjoyed my meal and I'm excited to have something near my work that I can eat that satisfies all my food sensitivities and aversions. Would def recommend!
