Favorite place to get açaí! My favorite is the Bom Dia bowl but I love that you can make your own bowl and add whatever flavors, fruits, and toppings you want. It’s located right inside a cute plaza/open courtyard with tables and chairs if you want to eat there which is great for when the weather is nice!

Had a 16oz build your own bowl from Palmetto Foods. I downloaded the app and ordered for the first time, so I was able to get a 15% discount. I love how you can build your own bowl and add unlimited toppings. They have a great selection and options of bases and toppings to choose from. I went the safe route (for me) and got acai and passionate mango, both of which I enjoyed a lot. Would definitely come back again!

As promised, next time I'm nearby and craving an acai bowl, I'd be happy to return. I actually visited another Palmetto location shortly before this one again and I was looking for their weekend warrior bowl. I think they ran out of mango base and mango topping at all stores though so they took the option off their app. I ordered a very similar custom bowl at the other location and liked it so much that I came to this one a few days later and ordered almost the same thing. You've got to give bonus points to every spot that offers unlimited toppings, which is the case with the custom bowls here. My custom order at this location was a medium 16oz with coconut beach, tropical spirulina, small layer of blue chia pudding, almond butter, honey almond, strawberries, banana, blueberries, pineapple, shredded coconuts, chia seeds, and blue agave, with a dome lid and a bag, no nut allergy. A medium is usually enough for me to share with one other person so of course I'm going to find someone else to share with instead of getting less value per dollar with ordering a small. I made the decision to add kiwi as well in the earlier order which I don't recommend as the tartness of the kiwi doesn't mesh will with the other sweeter ingredients. I placed my order via the Palmetto app and am so glad that I did because the line for kiosk ordering was out the door and moves really slowly as everyone takes forever to customize. Usually they have app orders ready a bit before the estimated pickup time and I happened to reach the counter just as they were putting the lid on. I'm really hoping that my next acai bowl craving hits when I'm near a Palmetto location.

Located in Santana Row right by Smitten Ice Cream, Starbucks, etc. it's a small shop. We came here on a weekend around noon and it was super busy. They have smoothies, acai bowls that you can custom make or pick from their popular bowls. We got the custom acai bowl and it was delicious. Unfortunately, they were out of mangos and so we ended up getting kiwi instead. It was super fresh and the fruits were tasty too. The appearance of the acai was beautifully done with the condensed milk and honey on top. I would say that it did take awhile to get our order though. We ended up waiting 20-25 minutes to get our order. A lot of people on yelp said that they got a text when their order was ready, but this time we didn't get a text. Luckily, my husband stayed close by and they called his name. So I recommend when getting your food here, have someone close by because we didn't get the text option.

Best açaí bowl ever! The combo açaí/matcha was crazy good! Not your usual fixin's on these bowls either and plenty of them. My favorite are the cocoa nibs, which adds a flavorful crunch to a typical soft bowl. Nice presentation and wonderful staff, too. Can't wait to return!

SOOOO GOOD!! I had to come on a rainy day! As of 2/20/24 they were having a mango shortage so I couldn't get my favorite mango passion base, but it still did not disappoint. I'm so sad that Palmetto Superfoods raised their prices, but they were already on the lower end for açaí bowls. The price increase wasn't too crazy however, I think it went from $7.45 for a small to $8.45? I think they also put a limit on the toppings. Either way, I'll still be coming back. The bowls are made absolutely beautiful, taste as delicious as always, and service was quick and attentive. The store is a little small so be prepared to wait outside for your bowl, but other than that, I LOVE IT!! My order: * pitaya, açaí, blue spirulina base (mango passion if I coul) * all the nut butters * whatever toppings I'm in the mood for PS large is great for sharing for 2 people, more value than 2 smalls.

Delicious! I got the Bay blend and honestly no complaints on the taste and food. A bit pricey but makes sense since most açaí places are and it is in Santana Row. Would definitely recommend. Can't say much for ambiance as it's a very small shop and only enough space to order and no seating but it is in the center of Santa row where there is many seating options so no problem. Service was quick and efficient, ordered on the kiosk and got our bowls and smoothies out relatively quick. Though, my friends got their smoothies and they were NOT good, so stick with their bowls.

Be prepared to wait a ridiculous amount of time for a simple açaí bowl if you come

Nice sized bowls, and absolutely delicious. You can build your own bowl, which might be too overwhelming with the myriad choices of toppings and bases. Or you can just get the signatures on the menu. Tried the Carnaval (9/10) & Bayblend(8/10). You can sit right outside in sunny santana row across smitten icecream, and pat yourself on the back for making the healthier choice . Only thing I miss is a clearly readable menu , with the calorie breakdown. If you are calling yourself superfoods, please call out the caffeine per serving in the matcha of your Carnaval. There might be folks with actual health restrictions looking sugar or caffeine limits, but no one at the store seemed to know any numbers.

I've never really been a fan of acai bowls but after trying Palmetto Superfoods acai bowls - I love it now! And am actually craving another acai bowl from this place as I type this.. lol. I think the oats is what convinced me. I built my own bowl (acai, chia pudding & oats with bananas, blueberries, strawberries, peanut butter, cacao bits, goji berries and mulberries (which I prob won't add next time)) the oats were yummy and the acai mixed in with it tasted refreshing. I didn't taste much of the chia pudding.

Super solid as always, best açaí bowls in the Bay Area! Order ahead since it does get crazy at Santana Row, but staff are very friendly and lots of seating outside the store.

I have eaten here many times before without issue and enjoy their food. But one time, when I ordered online and selected the "yes I have a nut allergy" option as I do have a nut allergy, my bowl had a nut in it. I understand that the employees make mistakes and are human, however when you select the "yes, I have a nut allergy" option, an option that notifies employees, there is an expectation that a certain level of safety will be ensured. Instead, I was met with blatant disregard for my safety, even during a time where there was little to no customers (it was not busy at all). This bowl was not just my lunch, but expensive, and a level of safety was not met that is expected when the option was given to me during the ordering process. Update: I received a prompt response from the head of customer server, a refund and gift card, which makes me feel safer to eat there once more and appreciate the attention to this error (instead of being brushed off). My advice would be to NOT order online if you have an allergy, instead order in person to watch them assemble the toppings for your bowl.

Good service, good toppings, bland flavor açaí and whatever the green base was. I felt like it didn't have any flavor and my spouse agreed. It's unfortunate because it was pretty, just flavorless overall. I am used to açaí tasting kind of fruity and tart, this wasn't.

I came here for a Friday afternoon treat after a full day of classes. It was a treat for sure! Best smoothie bowls I've had so far, and I've had many! I like that the build your own bowls are completely customizable; this is the perfect place for anyone who has specific dietary needs and/or preferences. There is no limit for bases, toppings, etc., which is awesome! My boyfriend and I both got customized medium size bowls. We really enjoyed the matchacado, passionate mango, tropical spirulina, and coconut beach bases. The granola and fruit toppings tasted great. The prices are quite expensive but I think it's worth it since it would be costly and time consuming to try to recreate a customized bowl at home. Service was friendly-- our bowls took a while but we knew from the note on the menu that customized bowls take longer. The shop is very small with not much standing room, and it can get pretty busy. There are many tables and seating areas outside. I will be returning for sure!!
