Came on a Sunday around lunch time and was able to sit before the lunch rush. The pizza is big enough for 2-3 people and we were able to share between the 3 of us, the meatballs appetizer comes with 3 meatballs and all good with delicious sauce. The ambiance is nice, we sat outside and were able to enjoy the nice weather.

My husband and I love this chic restaurant in Santa Row when we are feeling a quality cheat day. The service is always so great and we always get seated quickly. Food is very yummy. I will say they change the menu often - so sometimes you will come for something specific and they won't have it that time BUT the plus side is ... everything we order is very tasty!! We've ordered many different menu items and always enjoyed them. Our favorite is the gnocchi! Wine selection is broad and the non alcoholic drinks are great!! We love this cozy restaurant and WILL be back!! Shoutout to our server Vicente.

This review has nothing to do with food as we didn't even get to that point. We are here on a Thursday early evening with no wait for the inside. We get sat right away only to be ignored for almost 15 minutes. My issue here is they charge a 20% surcharge for service. I have no problem with the paying it as I expect a higher cost that I am in Santana row however I do expect to have great service. At some point someone should have at least came to ask if we wanted water or something. I watched, I even asked someone who was not helping our section and was still ignored. Everything about the food here I am sure is great but like I said I never got to the point and will be looking for other options within Santana row in the future.

Service was great. They do an automatic 20% service charge in lieu of tip. Not surprisingly given the location though I also appreciated that the hostess told us that when we were being seated (and not after ordering). Heirloom potato pizza had a great truffle oil. I liked that it was lightly sauced. Burrata Had a heap of cheese that was very light. Flavor was subtle though it hadna fresh and light consistency. Ambiance Hip though very loud, even for Wednesday evening.

Really good wood fire pizza. Great vibe and wait staff was very friendly. Hostess and wait person explained the service charge being added to the boil when we were seated and before we ordered. Nice that they made sure you were ok with it. Will definitely come here again

Ok . It's gotten even worse.. the open tables in the restaurant and there is a wait for outside. I get it. It was Getting crisp out , but still beautiful. This was told at around 430 . There was a line.. the people in front of us were eating for a third person to their party. And wouldn't step to the side blocking others from being helped. All the while the door dash and food delivery people were being adressed like a well oiled machine. They Diana great job getting those orders filled and the rest of the line for bigger and bigger and we had to wait to be adressed. A hostess came and asked us for our table and we said either . We were and are happy to eat inside. The. She went back to filling the fire dash orders. .. so we left . We went so where else. I won't be back I have them another chance. I don't like being made to wait as the door dash was rotating like a clock and we weren't addressed and taken care of. Rhis went on for some time . It wasn't a few minutes. They had 3 people at a the desk handling those orders . 1 could have helped us and the line. Good luck here- if you want to be treated like you are last. My opinion. It's a shame... the food is good.... The work flo is not ...

That is our favorite pizza in the whole Bay Area! Absolutely delicious, the dough is light and flavorful. The pasta is probably also one of the best there is amazing tomato souse! Appetizers are all very good, nice bar, the service is ok, sometimes too noisy and crowded. If sitting outside is available that's the way to go.

i've been here 3 times and would definitely consider it to be a reliable italian place in south bay. they don't take reservations, but the wait has never been too bad. i'm not the biggest fan of the indoor ambiance, though - it's kinda dimly lit. for food, i've tried a lot of things on the menu and feel that you can't go wrong with anything. the spaghettini is particularly reliable (they only give 2 meatballs lol but they're pretty big). i'm also a BIG fan of the burrata. i was craving more after i finished it. some of the menu items can seem a little pricey, but the portions are pretty filling so i feel like that offsets the price. once i ordered 4 dishes for 5 people (and one was an appetizer - the burrata) and that was very filling. there is an automatic 20% service fee but they're very upfront and transparent about it when you first sit down.

Walked in on a Thursday night and was seated right away with other couples and individuals eating inside and outside. The ambience is quite nice, and our waitress was very attentive as she kept checking in with us throughout the night. There is a 15-20% gratuity service fee added onto the check, I forget the percentage. The caesar salad was delightful, good amount of dressing and salad, and the grilled chicken had good seasoning. We ordered their spaghetti which was also tasty, and the meatballs were soft and flavorful. Moving into the pizza, it was really thin but I enjoyed the taste and flavor of the cheese and tomato sauce. I would definitely order this pizza again. Overall, I would recommend this place and the pizza they offer. Great ambience, servers, and food.

In my opinion, it's overpriced mediocre Italian food that's good for large parties. It's a fun restaurant to hang out but the downside is automatic gratuity + benefits surcharge is tacked onto the bill. There's better Italian food in SJ that's more worth.

The food, ambiance and service were really good! But the pricing doesn't make sense. $24 for a personal pizza, $3 for each additional topping. Plus they charge a 22% service fee to your bill, which I consider deceitful since that makes the menu prices fake. I would rather businesses build in the service fee to their menu prices and let me decide what I want to order or if I want to eat there. With that said, the hostess and waiter both reminded us about the service fee before we ordered, so it's not like they are hiding the fee.

Margarita pizza- skin is thin and soft, the crust is crunchy.Spaghetti- pretty regular, the sauce is general, I won’t say it tastes great. With only noodle it’s $18, meat ball cost another $6.Potato gnocchi - texture is the same but the sauce is different. It used to be really yummy but now the sauce is just okay.Came around 12:30 on Sunday Morning. Still has seat for four people inside. This place is really popular, it filled up really fast. However,It’s not as tasty as before. With regular food, 20% mandatory service surcharge + 2% San Jose employer mandate and only one server, we waited for quite a while to get our bills. We will not come here next time.I recommend to go to the bakery across the street to get some dessert afterwards.Kid-friendliness: Crayons and drawing paper

The food is great here but they run some SHADY BUSINESS. A 20% service charge is added to each bill, but I recently found out the server gets none of that. It goes to “other services”. There is also a “San José tax” added. I was there with a big party in a very awkward situation at the end with the server telling me that I do not need to tip him because he makes a 10% commission on the bill, which is far below a good service tip. When as a former sever that sounded ridiculous to me, I said for sure I would tip 10% more, he then informed me that he only would receive half of that because half goes to other people. I have served in SEVERAL RESTAURANTS. Never heard of a system like this. SHADY!!! Probably will not return.

I've been twice now and had really good food and service both times. Great ambiance and location. It is one of my favorites in the area.
