The broth had that very strong porky smell, definitely didn’t taste like it was done right. Could not finish my ramen since I almost puked.

Decent ramen absolutely ruined by... Black garlic oil? Not interested in acquiring that taste. The whole place reeks of it and when I got my ramen I almost gagged. Couldn't finish it.Karaage was decent. Service was good.

Maybe this is my fault, but we didn't have a great time here. TLDR: Ramen was too "beasty", with a strong pork smell and dense pork flavor. Perhaps this is what they're going for ("Porco"), but in my wife and I's opinion the flavors were not good. Also, the noodles were underdone.

My favorite ramen restaurant. My favorite is their truffle ramen and there's no other place that does it like them! The broth is rich and creamy yet light. I like woodear a lot in general and am glad they are generous with it and the green onions. The soft boiled egg is deliciously creamy. Some bamboo for more texture. The noodles steeped in broth. The pork is very thinly sliced, nice for drinking more of the delicious broth. Calamari with the yuzu mayo and lemon mmm sprinkle some togarashi on top and that's one of my favorite appetizers in general and at Porco Ramen it doesn't disappoint either. I've been here a couple times with some of my favorite people, and I've made some good memories here. I hope to come back for more. The truffle ramen is just so good that I haven't ordered any other ramen yet hahaha. Nice speedy attentive service and delicious food, just don't be fooled by the tinted windows, check hours, they are open haha. If it's your first time and you enjoy truffle, definitely get the truffle ramen!

Cute little Ramen place in the Berryessa area. This place only has pork centered Ramen but so happy that they actually have one vegetarian option which was really good. The vegetarian broth was delicious, the noodles are cooked perfectly, and I really enjoyed the amount of veggies that they added to it plus the half an egg that was cooked perfectly inside. I didn't feel the need to add anything to it and after I ate it I still felt the same way. There were so many toppings that I was very happy and the portion was so big that I wasn't able to finish the entire bowl. We definitely come here again for quick lunches.

Took my mom and little brother here because it was close to my house. Not the best I've had... but the appetizers were pretty good. Small portion of calamari - would say it was kind of expensive. Chicken and octopus pretty good. The ramen was sub-par. My family felt the same. My brother was "not a fan." They don't get ramen out often... so I just felt like it wasn't the best spot to take them to. Service was quick. Went at a time it wasn't busy. But the restaurant had a strong smell to it.

I ordered through uber eats. I appreciate that the order was delivered quickly, but instant ramen tastes better.

Delicious and fast service. What a little hidden gem in my area! We came right when it opened. I liked the concept of the menu to check off the boxes of what we wanted. I was also able to place a to-go order at the same time which was great (sushi rolls for later). They served water without asking which I really appreciated. The broth was fragrant and flavorful - not too salty. The meat nicely thin but still big pieces that you didn't feel you were being jipped. The bamboo and mushrooms were nice addition to add texture. The soft boiled egg was so yummy and creamy. I should have probably ordered extra for that! The sparklingly sake was very tasty - like a wine seltzer. I will most likely come back to try their other soups.

Yeah, I finally got to try Porco Ramen. I wanted to try this place for the longest time because my YouTube viewer Ian Jose recommended it to me, but I wasn't able to because they weren't open on weekends. Now, they're open on Saturdays, so I was able to swing by to try a bowl of ramen. I will say, I really love their menu. They have many eccentric items on their menu, such as Truffle Ramen, Sous Vide Pork Cheek, and Truffle fries. I appreciate the variety that they offer. Everything that I tried was pretty good, but not mind blowing. The Sous Vide Pork Cheek was the standout: Pork Cheek AKA Apple is one of my favorite cuts of meat to get at KBBQ, so it was awesome being able to have it in my Ramen. Interestingly enough, since it was cooked sous vide, it was much softer and more tender than I expected. A pleasant surprise. Everything else though was just average. Truffle fries had a good portion but wasn't all too special, and the ramen noodles themselves could use improvement. The service here is great, fast and friendly, and there wasn't a wait for Saturday lunch. I would say this place is great if you need a convenient bowl of ramen. Looking back, Porco Ramen is great because of it's speedy service and unique menu. Shoutout to Ian again for the rec.

Great ramen and super fast service! Casual place, that i went to eat around 6:30pm on the weekend. I never had pork cheek in ramen before, but now I'm sold. Ill definitely try and come eat at this place again. I had their porco ramen with no additional add ons and it was a good amount of food for me.

I don't remember the last time the Ramen game in San Jose being legit, but Porco, and some other places, are definitely bringing some attention to the South Bay when it comes to Ramen, and Porco is no slouch! My wife and I came here, a bit on a whim. Little strip mall with a Thai place and liquor shop and an L&L. The windows and doors are dark. I mean tinted 5% dark! You could barely see the "OPEN" sign flashing and if you didn't look hard enough, you'd easily think that Porco wasn't open and miss out on some delicious Ramen. My wife and I ordered the Chicken Karaage for an appetizer. She had the Tonkotsu while I had the Porco. Let's start with the Karaage. It was delicious. Fried beautifully crisp with a sprinkling of salt that enhances the chicken very well. The spicy mayo sauce that came with it was simply divine. The combination of this Karaage and the spicy mayo works very well together. My wife's tonkotsu broth was clean, rich, and beautifully done. Adding the classic staples in ramen, this ramen dish was delicious. Counter this with my porco, which added a smokey subtle hint to what seemed like a tonkotsu broth, you could instantly tell that both broth are related but experienced very different lives. The porco also had sou vide pork as opposed to regular ramen pork in the tonkostu. This is personal preference, but I kind of wish Porco had used a different kind of ramen noodle. The noodle they used was ok. It wasn't chewy, didn't have that texture, that "QQ", and it didn't have that shape of ramen that I was used to. The Porco ramen noodles are rather flat, and dare I say--a bit lifeless? Other than my comment above, delicious ramen and delicious Karaage. Would definitely visit again to try the Truffle ramen Takoyaki or Fried Calamari Legs.

Hands down THE best Ramen I've eaten. For some odd reason I fein specifically the buttery Truffle Ramen on Sundays, the day that Porcos is not open, and say "F" it I ll just wait another day they're open because absolutely no other ramen can substitute it, and I've had some really great ramen. The restaurant is clean with a comfortable ambience, great staff, fast service, amazing food, appetizers and ramen. Parking can be tough on busy days. I'd like to say this is my personal favorite ramen spot within a hundred mile radius.

I ordered a tonkotsu ramen on doordash because the ratings were good, but after my 2 yo already has eaten I tried the ramen and the broth smelt and tasted extremely bad like ammonia and a very strong pork feces scent/taste. I might even take serious actions against this restaurant if it gets my son extremely sick. PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE.
