It's a small donut shop but honestly they have the best donuts I've ever tasted. Whenever I crave them I'll come here

we have been coming to Sam's donuts for 40 years. I don't know if there was recently an owner change in the donut shop. I went in there this morning like I do at least three times a week. The lady that served me as I was picking out the four donuts normally they're small boxes this time shit the lady that serve me said no you only have four donuts so she didn't give me a box. Instead she threw all of these donuts in one bag where they're all smashed, and when I ask her for a box she says no you only order donuts and the way she turned the bag so the donuts all got smashed I said you know please give me my money back she threw the money at me and I told her have you lost your mind don't throw my money at me she ignored me when I said are you the new owner because there's always a very nice lady. If you go later in the day and she didn't answer me and there's four customers in there that I recognize these four old guys that are obnoxious loud and rude. They tell me to get out of the store I tell them to mind their business and I left the store. That's a shame, because Sam's donuts used to be a great place and I will come back later in the afternoon to see if the other young lady that has been working here for 20 years is still here. If I could, I would give him a negative review and I will still call the Better Business Bureau and put in a complaint

Great local owned breakfast spot. East to order for a quick on the go meal. The service is usually fast and line moves quickly

Fresh and fluffy donuts. We took a bite in the car and immediately drove back for a full dozen. Just make sure you eat them within 2 days of purchase for best quality.

First visit was not impressive, ordered café mocha and the taste was more comparable to hot chocolate, tasted pretty good as hot chocolate, maybe because she was on her cell phone for the most part of my visit. Sugared donuts were overly sweet, perhaps it was an off day at the time but many other donut joints to try.

I don't know why it took me so long to try my local donut shop, but I regret not coming sooner! Their donuts are the perfect amount of moistness so that even on the next day, they still feel fresh. They are also fluffy and not overly sweet. Staff there are very friendly and helpful, and they take both cash and credit for payment. I would say they are the best donut shop in the area that I've tried!

FOOD Sam's Donuts has an impressive specialty donut variety. From the photos you'll see combination of flavors only Sam's does (that I've seen) and they work! If you love donuts, you will anger the heavens if you do not try at least one of these: -Maple cinnamon roll -Apple crumb cinnamon roll -Chocolate cinnamon roll -Glazed cinnamon bear claw Basically, anything in the top 2 left shelves will leave you happy. Regular donuts 1. Glazed = my #1 go to 2. Any cruller (only on the weekends if I'm not mistaken) 3. They have a lemon donut with sprinkles that is delicious (pictured) SERVICE The staff has always been welcoming every time I've stepped inside. Sometimes breakfast places get worn down by the morning personalities that flood their doors (people pre-caffeine), but there remains a refreshing care and upbeat atmosphere at Sam's. AMBIANCE A couple tables are available and they make the small space work well with what they have. Usually there's parking right in front of the door! I love how accessible it is. Places like Sam's are staples in the community, and I cannot say enough how grateful I am that we still have them in the midst of cheap corporate imitations (*COUGH Dunkin Donuts COUGH*) that I will not mention out of respect.

The meat content on the breakfast sandwiches weren't super great but they were still very tasty. My favorite donut is a devil's food donut and the one I had was one of my favorites thus far. The cake donut was still very fresh and soft enough while the chocolate icing was sweet and delicious. I also appreciated that the chorizo for the breakfast sandwich had some nice flavor. Been getting a lot of relatively bland chorizo lately and this was a great change of pace. Hands down my new favorite donut place for the Devil's Food donuts alone and the complimentary donut holes were also solid.

This is our family's go to donut shop. We've tried all of the places in our neighborhood and Sam's is our favorite. This is a no frills just a great quality donut kind of place. The donuts are so pillowy with the right amount of glaze. We love Sam's and come nearly every week!

Donut holes are life. Sam's does life. End of story. My 2 yr old granddaughter has decided to live on them and I'm good with that since they are made at Sam's amazing donut emporium and are basically a little puffy pancake, sans syrup. The icing is MINIMAL and there isn't a stickiness factor with these little whispers of Unicorn love. Perfection and smiles.

I got the #9 (turkey, bacon, egg, cheese, sandwich). Had it on a croissant and added avocado. Total was almost $10. The turkey tasted rubbery. The avocado was fresh. The bacon & eggs were good, but seeing the way she cooked the eggs in the microwave made the whole thing less appealing. Service was meh...She didn't seem happy being there but she did throw in a free donut hole. Maybe life's got her down or maybe it was too early in the morning, whatever it is, I hope she finds a way to enjoy life more. If you gotta work somewhere you don't enjoy working, your customers can feel it as soon as they walk in. It's a competitive business, but if Sam is willing to look at honest feedback and make a few adjustments, this donut shop can have lines out the door. It has so much potential! Good luck Sam's Donuts!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for DONUTS!!! Decided to pass by yum yum donuts and Dunkin' Donuts to support a local shop :-) Came here around 10am, and picked up a dozen donuts for work. From what I remember, minimum cost per donut is about $1.55, and goes up based on type. For a regular dozen it approx. $17 plus tax. Yummy donuts!!! The baker/owner person was kind and sweet.

Donuts are good. But ordered a sausage BACON egg and cheese croissant. Did not get any bacon in my breakfast sandwich.
