I really liked my hot plate beef bolgogi. It was flavorful and adding their hot sauce tied it all together. Unlimited bonchon so don't be afraid to ask for more. Limited seating so I recommend going right when they open so you get in right away. My friend got the hot stone bibimbop and said it was a bit plain for her. I would come back to try the tofu soup it seems like a popular option.

super cozy space but pretty small so the wait during prime hours can be quite long. service was friendly, attentive and quick though! tried the beef and kimchi soondubu and the flavors were on point, i just wished the portion size was a little bigger for the price (but maybe that's just me and my appetite lol). decent selection of banchan too.the bibimbap and galbi from other tables looked super tempting though, so i'd probably come back to try those!

Food is an amazing value. You get tons of fresh banchan in your delivery. Free japchae and rice as well. 1 portion can satisfy 2 people easily. Their meat is very high quality and not overly fatty. Tons of spice and flavor. The owner must love food .. I can just tell by the quality .

Korean-operated restaurant with excellent Soon Tofu soup and tasty banchan (side dishes).Probably my favorite in the bay area. Grew up on Korean food and this Soon Dubu soup hits the spot. Very clean and fast too. Staff is very nice.

Had lunch here , ordered #1 combo with seafood & beef .Come with 5 side dish , rice and egg .For the side dish , especially the fish cake , I guess they pan fried one side , so one side is soft and other side is harder texture . tested so good !Bigger size tofu , squid, clam and shrimp, plus slice beef inside the soup .Very nice service, keep asked me if I need refill side dish .New jean MTV keep playing, extra benefits, lol

The setup of this place makes you feel like you are in Korea. We had hot stone vegetarian and chicken options. It was very good. No complaints on service that was fast. Easy to find parking.Noticed boiling soup others were having. Will try that and pancake next time.

Have been trying the soups and stews for a long time now, and had the recent opportunity to branch to other entrees on their menu. I'm particularly picky about dishes that I've been having for years/since my childhood, but sorting and choosing through the menu at Shin's I haven't been disappointed. For anyone looking for a satisfying spicy soup or a meat entree dish, I highly recommend the spicy marinated pork to complement your meal.

I can not eat in other Korean restaurants after trying this place, and I hope they will open another location. Their bibimbaps and spicy pork are unmatched, and their tofu soups are perfect. I mean, what did you expect? Tofu is in their name. Their service is exceptional and accommodations are easily made. The ambience has a modern flare to it that is welcoming for everyone. Definitely this this place a try!

My friend and I came on a weekday and it was full but not too busy. The inside is a cozy little restaurant with music playing the staff was really nice. However I did not particularly enjoy their food. We both ordered tofu soup but were quite disappointed. The broth tasted watery and we had to ask for salt. I also was not a big fan of their rice texture, it wasn't bouncy. Their side dishes were nice but overall I felt the food was very mediocre.

Small shop in a fairly busy plaza but great food!Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. The place has ~10 tables and can only hold so many people. We put our name down on the list outside, but luckily got seated within 10 minutes. I can imagine the wait could get quite a bit longer on busier nights. Ordered a dumpling tofu soup medium spicy and the lady got a spicy ham and sausage dumpling soup. The meal was served with banchan including kimchi, fish cakes, japchae, pickled radish and a small mayo salad. The tofu soup was quite tasty and so good on a cold winter day. It's definitely one of the better soondubu in the area. It has a comforting feel to it.Overall, I would recommend Shin's! Solid place for some Korean food.
