Only my second time here. It was suggested by a friend. I am impressed by the craft beer selection. This place is a "dive bar" hybrid. Very professionally run. Lala is the bar tender with the mostest. Best Old Fashioned I've ever had. Come check her out her / this place. Add it to your rotation if you are a craft beer person

I've been going here for over 10 years. It's gotten consistently better in that time. Diverse crowd. Great bartenders. Amazing food.

Waited 30 minutes with our names on the pool tables to play. 2 different tables played 3 games between 2 people.Put our names on the board but when it was finally our turn they made us play against them to “win the table” and couldn’t play against each other.Stupid rules. Someone good at pool can play all night and people just wanting to have fun can’t play with each other. People that win never have to pay if they keep winning. Bar should ban that. That’s how trashy bars play. There’s also 2 boards you have to put your name down on both. Otherwise you might end up waiting more time for your specific table to finish. We were the only person in line with our name down for 25 mins, then someone put their name on the other table on a board we didn’t see and they played before us.We ended up leaving without playing.

Stevie's Bar & Grill in San Jose isn't just a bar, it's a sanctuary for the soul and a paradise for beer enthusiasts. Each time I return to San Jose, Stevie's is my go-to spot, a reliable haven where the beer flows as freely as the good times. With a draft beer selection that's second to none, Stevie's is like a grand library of brews, each one a story waiting to be savored. The attentive staff elevates the experience, making sure your glass is never empty and your spirits are always high. The vibe here is electric yet welcoming, a perfect backdrop for the delectable snackable treats they serve. And if you're in a crunch for time, the adjacent laundromat turns a chore into a chance for relaxation – sip and savor while you spin and rinse!Stevie's is more than a bar; it's a clever twist on the traditional, a gem that makes San Jose shine a little brighter.

Came here because we wanted to it at the restaurant that's inside "ABVE the basics" Since my hair appointment got pushed back, I had more time to kill, so my partner and I decided to grab a couple beers to have with our food. I don't remember the names of our drinks, I just remember mine was a guava fruit sour (which I recommend btw) and my partner got a watermelon sour that came in a can. That beer was light on the flavor but still good. Tbh what really sold me on the place was the music that was playing because it felt like they were playing straight off my spotify....and the fact that they played Taylor Swift was a win LOL

Long time client, went in last wk for a cold beer on Friday. I ordered beer at the Bar, and paid with card. I got charged an extra $1.50 service fee for using my debit card. Cmon, this is ridiculous and the bartender never asked me to use Cash nor told me that its extra fee to use a card. After all your long time loyal customers supported you during the Covid shutdown, and this is how you re-pay us? Its a cash world now at Stevies' so leave your card at home.

Stellar staff & that includes the very passionate & hardworking cooks. The bartenders are not only easy on the eyes, but they mix great drinks, and on top of that, this spot has a very tasty food menu. I went a few weekends ago with my bestie & other friend. I had a few Long Island's that were so refreshing. And I ordered the Fish Street bowl, which was fresh & delicious - loved the chipotle garlic aioli which added a great flavor. Next time I'm asking for extra sauce! My bestie ordered the deep fried elote which did Not disappoint - so good! Our group also got some of the California Vegetarian tacos - I didn't taste them this time, but I was told they were yummy! Lots of friendly people - we had a fun night! :)

Chill dive. Despite the IPA crafty stuff they have bottles of Blue Moon in the back somewhere. Kudos to Shai for serving me the watery domestics without treating me like a guy who asked for ketchup at a sushi restaurant. By the way, I came in after a dress-up day from work wearing a Hawaiian shirt, swim trunks, Birkenstocks, and pineapple socks and nobody batted an eye.

Bartenders here know how to pour! Drinks are worth every penny. Outstanding service! And great food! Check out ABV THE BASICS for the best tacos. Highly recommend

Great ambience, plenty of TVs showing the games. And the food - deep fried elote (GOSH), carne asada street bowl, and the best chicken tacos I do believe I've ever had. It's bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. A hidden gem!
