"I cannot rave enough about the experience we had at the Downtown San Jose Sushi confidential location for my huge 60th birthday bash in November!!! Randy and his whole staff were amazing from the planning stages all the way through to the end. Supporting almost 200 guests, Randy's team was extremely flexible by allowing me to hire and bring in my own band, while providing an in-house DJ to warm the crowd. The plentiful spread of sushi and various rolls were on point as usual. I will not hesitate a second to have another event at Sushi Confidential!!!

Sushi was really good, drinks were excellent and it was a fun vibe. Shout out to our server Lexi as well!

Do not walk run from this place. The worst Bento box I've have ever had. The food was poorly cooked not worth the $24 if you're looking for a good Bento box go to a place called kazoo in Japan town get more food for less money and it's authentically made.

Good food and original sushi combinations- service decent. A bit loud. But overall enjoyable.

Last Sunday, My Daughter and I went shopping then we drove to San Pedro Square to have lunch at Sushi Confidential we parked in front so convenient wow !! that's a first in downtown it's hard to find parking we were escorted by a friendly Security Staff Member to our table. The waiter was attentive and met our needs he even had bring over an umbrella to give us shade the sun was in my eyes sweet jester. The food arrived delicious fresh and tasty. I recommend this place to everyone the atmosphere and they also have a Dj we enjoyed music while we ate what a fun day.

I had been here once before and wasn't impressed but a friend wanted to go and I decided to give it a second chance. We got there right after it opened and the place was almost empty, and yet it took forever to get our food. Service was okay - not amazing but not bad. I got a bento box. The spicy tuna roll was falling apart, the miso was flavorless, the tempura was cold, greasy and soggy. Don't think I'll try a third time.

Great staff , love all the hype this place has for holidays and during the sports seasons. Their outside patio area is a must on weekends they have a DJ and cozy outdoor couches with fire pits in the center. Awesome vibes! Love this place.

Well, they had open tables when the rest of San Pedro Square had hour long waits, so in we went. The layout and design was modern. The servers seemed understaffed for what became a packed house, but we were able to get our check in time to make our show, so kudos for that. They had some interesting cocktails which was the highlight for us. Diving deeper into the menu did not produce any wins. It was definitely a sushi experience, but I couldn't point to a single item which I'd specifically seek out.

Nice place but didn’t have all the options on the menu, and surely did not make the Bento box to order - it was clear that both the maki rolls and salad had been in the box for an extensive time. Not terrible, but also not much better than a grocery store mixed sushi combo. There are better places in the area.

Really bad experience here during a conference. Waited 1.5 hours after ordering sushi. Everyone’s food came except mine. When I asked the waiter about my order she mentioned it will come when it’s ready in the most annoying voice ever. Wouldn’t recommend for the service you receive vs the price of food they provide. When the food came it was subpar. Small amount of salmon and very tiny portions.

They do not know the event that they opt in to host. Waited 1 hour to get nothing and get our card hold for no drinks. This is nothing. Do not come here.

Lexxie was amazing! Great customer service! Answered all of my questions and suggested menu items based on my dietary restrictions. The vibe was chill and not to crowded! I would absolutely come back!

I went to sushi confidential with low expectations but I'm happy to report I was wrong! This isn't your traditional Japanese sushi restaurant, it's more of a modern fusion take on sushi. Lots of other flavors that you wouldn't think to associate with sushi, like hot Cheetos! They also have a wide variety of veggie and keto rolls which was cool, not really for my taste, but I'm happy they have these options! I also noticed they had a sushi making team building activity going on while we were eating, which is really cool! I wish my work would do something like this! So we had the geisha girl, shady shrimp, classified crunchy crab and salmon bombs. The Salmon bombs appetizer was so delicious, very saucy and full of flavor! My favorite roll was the geisha girl! So many flavors with a crunchy macadamia nut topping! We wanted to try the sashimi hirame but they were sold out! So we went for the hamachi spoons, which were just okay. Not amazing. It was pretty empty inside in a Tuesday after work and they didn't have too many servers but we had two different people come and ask us several times if we were okay, which I appreciate. Will be back to try the sashimi hirame!

Went a while back. Sushi was not memorable, and the waitress was rude and inattentive. After barely walking inside we decided to change our mind and wanted to sit outside. There was only around 2 tables seated at that time, but we were given a side eye by her like we were causing a great disturbance. Then after being seated waited a long time for service, we experienced things like never getting refills on our drinks, and servers slamming plates down right behind us. Also noticed she was just talking to coworkers. I know it might've been a bad experience but this alone would keep me away from here. Only the ambience is good.
