I have been coming here for 13 years and have yet to have a bad meal. Always feel like I'm eating at a family member's house, very welcoming staff!

Great little restaurant in Willow Glen. Service was very good and the food is reasonably priced. We had wor wonton soup , Chinese chicken salad and beef chow fun. The food came Out very quickly and was hot and tasty. Really enjoyed the beef chow fun. Definitely will be back to eat here again.

Amazing Pad Thai and green curry! Excellent price, especially since the servings are substantial. Definitely going back.

Talk about a hidden gem, Sweet Mango at 1040 Willow St, San Jose, CA 95125 is definitely one of them. I heard about this place from a friend, who had heard good things about it. Why not try it I say? So my luncheon troop and I decide to visit it on a Sunday. It is an older stand alone restaurant with its own parking. The inside is also older looking but very well maintained and clean. We were greeted by a very nice young lady who led us to a good sized table that had really attractive China plates set up on it. We had Tom Kha Soup with Chicken, Pad Thai, Pineapple Veggie Fried Rice (served in a cut Pineapple), Pumpkin Chicken, and my favorite desserts Sticky Rice/Mango and Panko Fried Banana. Everything was hot and fresh, like it had just been made. I especially liked the fact we could customize each dish. The menu is huge with a great selection of Thai and Burmese dishes. This food is outstanding and we all enjoyed it. Service was excellent! I got the impression this was family run because everyone working there seemed to really care about our dining experience. I am Definitely coming back to Sweet Mango!

The house Pad See Ew is our comfort food. We also love the roti. Really warm and kind people.

I like the food here. The have good sized portions and friendly staff. They see m to be pretty busy. Their prices are reasonable too. This is not some place that you take someone to in order to impress them. The main attraction is the food.

Sweet Mangoes is a complete GEM, a hole in the wall, but a HIT!!! The food is absolutely DELICIOUS! You can taste the freshness in each bite, I still don't understand how they make their veggies so crunchy! I personally really love their cumin lamb and basil chicken, but everything on their menu really tasty! Their service is also commendable! Every time (which is quite a lot) we come, we are greeted with so much love. I've experienced both dining in and out, and haven't been disappointed. Overall, highly recommend and will continue to be a loyal customer.

Had not been here for a while but it is still just as good as I remember. Ordered pineapple fried rice, red curry basil fish and crispy beef. All of the dishes were serviced quickly. They were hot and flavorful. The wait staff were friendly and efficient.Vegetarian options: Many of the menu items can be prepared as vegetarian dishes.

I was looking for a great Hot and Sour soup place in the area...this place is up there. Everything is fresh to order, just the way I like it. Not the best, but definitely top 5. Totally worth it.

Came here for dinner with my friend. We got seated right away by a kind lady. The place was kind of empty which was good.Me and my friend decided to share a soup and an entre. We got the noodle soup and it was yummy but on the heavier side compared to Tom kha if you like that consistency. Additionally we also got the mixed veg with chicken dish and that was well sauted and nicely done.We didn’t get anything to drink but may be next time.Overall good experience and glad to have visited after hearing about this place so muchVegetarian options: They have options for making a lot of dishes to veg and remove meat optionsParking: Lots of parking spaceKid-friendliness: Kid friendly place

decided on this place because of their tyelp reviews and the reviews were not wrong - not much to look at from the outside but the food was fantastic - my companion says there aren't any good Chinese restaurants in san jose (she's from Singapore) but she said Sweet Mango was an exception - had the pad thai and she said it was the best - service was outstanding and they graciously took pictures of her posing in front of their wall art - will return

The food was simply amazing. We ordered samosas and chicken satay for appetizers, followed by red curry, mango chicken, and pineapple fried rice for the main courses. For drinks, we had hot tea. Everything tasted superb, and the service was fast. The dishes were freshly made. The ambiance of the place is very homely, though it's quite small. A great find for thai/chinese/burmese food for to-go orders!

Great food, fast and friendly service, nice location and decor. We do both takeout and dine in there often.
