I visited in February during the SuperBowl; cute location. I still think about these tacos over 6 months later; sooooo good especially the queso frito taco. I'm in love with a taco.

We love the look and feel of the place... except service was extremely slow and the tacos were pretty decent but with a high price tag. We came for brunch and got a bunch. My favorite was the egg and chorizo one. Chips and dips- awesome. Everything else was alright. The drinks were pretty weak. It was alright. Service was non existence. Felt like she didn’t want to serve us. Probably would not come back.

Great tacos, good drinks! I always like coming to Tacolicious because they have a good variety of interesting tacos with great flavors. My favorite has to be the pastrami. It is so unique and tasty. The tacos also came with a wide array of sauces. All so good. I had a mezcal mixed drink the last time I was there. It was ok. Not as smokey as I had wished, and a little sweeter than I prefer. The ambiance here is nice, as it is located in Santana Row. It is chill and a nice place to hangout and grab a bite. It is a little pricier for tacos, but I overall enjoy it and don't mind coming once in a while. Would recommend.

We came here with a group of friends for dinner and were immediately seated in-spite of it being a weekend. Since it was 6 of us we ordered the 10 taco platter and a lot of other sides. The tacos were pretty amazing in my opinion specially the sauce that accompanied them and the cute wooden platter . The cocktail menu is mostly tequila based and they do have beers. I felt that the place is a tad bit expensive since Tacos tend to be more of a reasonable menu item . We were served promptly and the service was good . I liked the decor and the vibe , which were both pretty casual and fun.

We came for breakfast/brunch while waiting for our friends wedding. Tacos are seriously overpriced. But some were better than others. I got the egg and chorizo one and it was really good. The other breakfast tacos were decent. Drinks came out super slow. Service was slow too. I don't think she really wanted to serve us to be honest.

Great spot to hangout. The tacos are delicious including the veggie ones. Music is good.

I have been here twice now once for happy hour and once for dinner. I do like the extensive menu that they have here. Some of their taco options are really good. I definitely recommend getting their brussels sprouts and butternut squash tacos as well as the fried avocado taco. The drinks here taste really good as well. Both times I have, I have enjoyed the service here as well and they are very hospitable. The music is loud but I like the vibe. The main issue I have is how expensive it is. $40 for 10 tacos is ridiculous in my opinion. I can go to the taco trucks in downtown San Jose and get that for like about half the price. I understand it's more exotic flavors but still. Also, it's over $40 for a pitcher of margaritas that fills four glasses but they put so much ice in the pictures. The drink didn't even get us a buzz and we could barely taste alcohol. It did taste good but it tasted more like pineapple juice. When I came in my friends for dinner we had to sit inside because it was so cold outside and they have these big gaps in the patio curtains that the heated lamps cannot heat up because it was so windy. I would probably come back here again but I really hope that they make some changes because I'm not sure how long they will last if these things persist.

Food was great and our server was very attentive... food came out on time and he made sure our table never ran out of chips and salsa.

Tacolicious is pretty much an upscale Mexican restaurant serving dressed up, fancy tacos. In all honesty, I'm more down for a less jazzed up, regular ole al pastor taco from an authentic taqueria, but I still like the concept of this restaurant. My favorite taco is the fried avocado, which unfortunately they don't have anymore. The flavors of the relishes are unique and the veggies taste fresh and crisp. The meat just doesn't have that delicious crisped up, fresh-off-the-griddle feel to it. The guac was nothing special, but it's guac so I can't complain. Overall, the place is nice and I would actually choose to sit on their cute outdoor patio on a nice day. The optIons on the menu are plentiful and all sound incredible, so though its a little upscale, it's worth at least a visit for any open minded foodies.

Wonderful place for a night out. I went here with my family and we ordered fried avocado tacos and chicken ting (?) tacos. Both were delicious. We didn’t try any cocktails so cannot rate them. I’ve to also comment on the free nachos that are served. Delish! Must visit. One star less because of the loud music, can keep the volume a bit less and no option for hard shell tacos. Otherwise ???“Thank you for the clarification Mr./Ms. Owner. I specifically had asked for hard shell tacos but the server said it’s not available. Not a criticism, just telling you why I mentioned it in the review.Regardless, you can count on us for being regulars. Thank you for a fun evening.”

Update 2/16/2020 Food was great as was a our waiter! I was bummed that they didn't have the mushroom carnitas in the menu anymore though. Unfortunately our visit went down hill As we were ready to leave. We had to ask for the check 3 times and waited almost 20 minutes for my Mother to get her card back which was clearly just sitting on the countertop being neglected. The parties around us were all helped before us. We kept being told it would be just a second for her to get her card back. We finally flagged down a server who just clocked in that was able to help us in minutes. The experience doesn't take away from the amazing food but service needs to step it up ---------------- Decided to stop for a pre movie snack and it did not disappoint. The place is cute and perfect for catching a game with a drink. I like the interesting menu. We opted for a 4 pk. Mushroom carnitas Fish (both fried and grilled) All of them were so delicious and perfectly portioned! I loved the salsa options as well with the chance to try them all. Also complimentary salsa and chips were tasty The chupitos were were amazing (pineapple) and larger than anticipated My only complaint is that I went through about 4 dirty glasses before we got a clean one (our waitress was helpful in dealing) and we also had dirty plates we had to switch out Hopefully it will be a better experience on my next visit as I do intend to return for many more tacos and chupitos!

The vibe of this place is OK and so is the food. But it is way too expensive and almost feels like a rip off. I did like the flavors of the sauces they give on the side when you order a taco but $6 for a tiny taco is way more than what I am comfortable paying. The chips and gauc were decent too but they were expensive for the portion size. Over all, just decent food that is way too expensive.

I highly recommend this taco place despite his high prices for tacos. The meat are very well seasoned and returns all of his juice. I love the barbacoa and the al pastor is great as well.
