This has been my favorite Tasty Pot location for years. I give 5 stars because I truly don't think I've ever had a bad experience here. Ordering through a QR code for has always allowed me to send and get my food quickly. Service has consistently been fast, attentive, and polite. When I checked in on Yelp, I was surprised to see I got a free green milk tea!! Definitely a nice surprise. I usually get the Beef Hot Soup - an easy 10/10 - and my boyfriend switches between that and the Sichuan Hot Soup - another consistent 10/10. And honestly, the soybean chili sauce deserves 5 stars all on its own. It's so good.

Where do I begin...This parents date night dinner was sponsored by Yelp and Tasty Pot. This was a wonderful first time experience for my husband and I. We were greeted by Ms. Amy and explained the QR code download on our phone to review the many options on the menu. Not being experienced with hot pot we asked for recommendations and we were not let down. We started off with the spicy fried calamari which was coated just right and seasoned perfectly. We each ordered a tea, myself the mango green tea and my husband the passion fruit black tea. Both were refreshing and left us excited for our main entrees. Our experience also included a sizzling plate along with the hot pot. I have to say each hot pots description looked delicious but today we opted for the 8 Thai Flavor Soup. This soup had a lot of flavor and depth. I was surprised how much meat and seafood this had as well as vegetables. The sizzling beef in Garlic Soy with udon was so tasty I even scraped the seasoning off the pan to enjoy with my cup of rice. The thin steak was cooked perfectly by the hot sizzling pan and my husband and I both agreed this would be something our 6 year old would happily devour on his own. We finished off our meal with a chocolate almond macaron ice cream which was the perfect end to an amazing meal. For anyone looking to have a bomb meal in a casual setting this is the place. The portions are big enough for 2+ and seasoned so well it'll leave you wanting to try more!

We were seated quickly for a Friday night and food came fast after we ordered using the QR code at our table. We got the Japanese miso hot pot, soy garlic beef sizzling plate, calamari, and two drinks - I got the sweet milk with pudding and my partner got the creme green tea. Everything tasted great with the sizzling plate being my favorite!! Very filling and flavorful, and I would definitely get it again.

After a long two years in the making I have finally returned to Tasty Pot and oh man was it worth it. Food service was phenomenal and very quick. The Sizzling Soy Garlic beef hot plate was fantastic, we added extra egg and meat. We also got the Seafood Lobster Hot Soup which was flavorful combined with a lot of different type of seafood. Portions were also very generous. We got a side order of Calamari which I enjoyed. I would highly recommend getting the calamari as an appetizer. That was probably my favorite dish of the whole meal. For drinks my partner and I got Thai Milk Tea with lychee Jelly and also Passion Fruit Green Tea. Both teas were amazing. All in all it was a great experience, the only thing problem we had was finding parking in the small lot they had. P.S they have a liquor store across the street in case you wanted to get a buzz on before your meal. Best believe we did while we waited to get seated !

What a great experience! I haven't been to Tasty Pot since college, so didn't realize they expanded their menu so much to include appetizers and sizzling plates. I actually came here with two other friends who were attending a Yelp event here and invited me to join. We ordered so much food! The udon with mushroom sauce was my personal favorite, and usually I don't even like mushrooms, so you know it's good! The calamari was good too. I liked the batter they used and spices that they topped it off with. We got the Taiwanese Supreme Spicy Hot Soup with medium spice. The broth itself wasn't that flavorful and somewhat watered down. It also wasn't that spicy, so we could've asked for a higher level of spice. Regardless of that, I love the diverse amount of items included in the hot pot! The two waitresses that were helping us constantly refilled our waters and made sure that we were enjoying the food. They made our experience very enjoyable.

I love the food here! I've been here a few times and this place is great. The service was great and they always came to us whenever we needed. Water was always being filled and they always check up on the table. The beef pot was delicious and a perfect dinner item. It was my first time trying the beef sizzling plate and I would def recommend it. The boba were pretty average but tasted great with the food. Def would come again!

Three of us came by for Sunday lunch and were sat immediately. We ordered via phone, which I didn't prefer, but not a big deal. We had: -curry $18.50/ea -2 beef $18.50/ea Green tea was brought automatically when we were sat. It was good, but definitely more watered down compared to what I prefer. Overall, the qty of food (in my opinion), was significantly less than Boiling Point and I think it was a bit more expensive. Service was a bit all over the place with them dropping a lot of things accidentally on the floor. Parking was readily available for me, so didn't have an issue. I would still prefer Boiling Point over this Tasty Pot location. I do like the Tasty Pot in Cupertino more than here.

Food 5/5 Food quality was good! I tried the Japanese Miso Pot and it tasted pretty standard. I also tried one of their new menu items, skewers, and I liked that it was a variety of beef and quail egg skewers. The order of skewers also came with a tea drink, which I wasn't expecting and surprisingly tasted good too! The Japanese Miso Pot came with udon, so I didn't need to eat the rice, Service 5/5 Service was standard and efficient. Ambiance 5/5 The place was spacious and seating was majority padded booth style. They played trending kpop music!

First time in this place and I love the food so cool with a burner under the plate. Service is fast but you have to place your order by phone in an app kind of cool. Ambiance is great in the Segone community a small hole in San Jose but great food something different to try. I will definitely come back with family again!

The Thai didn't come with coconut so it automatically rates lower for me than other places. However, the spice level was significantly better than other places. I would say it actually gets to 1/5 of a Thai-eye chili. Service was still cheeks, maybe that's just standard for places like this.

The service was good and our hotpot came relatively quickly however, the actual food was very mediocre. I got the vegetarian hotpot with Thai soup and while it was delicious in the beginning, as you made your way down the bowl, the one-note flavor became increasingly obvious and honestly, I was bored by the time I finished it. The Thai soup was good but again, as you continued eating it just got too lemony. The highlight of our meal was actually the boba! The Thai tea and the boba were so good and extremely affordable compared to the usual outrageous boba prices. The actual restaurant was not well-cleaned and lacked any sort of ambiance. The floors were disgustingly wet and five minutes in, I almost slipped and fell on the way to my table. My friend had a boot on her foot due to an injury and found it difficult to walk around with liquids on the floor. The bathroom was just as nasty with 1 of the 2 stalls clogged and the ground somehow being even more soggy and slippery than the restaurant floor.Overall, good food, incredible boba, and horrible vibes.Vegetarian options: only one vegetarian option, but it’s pretty good

Don't expect to get your pot fast if you come alone. Normally it would take 10-15 mins to get the pot you ordered, but lately this particular location start prioritizing group size instead of time of order when preparing the hotpot. Long wait (45+ mins) if there are big parties ahead or behind you. Skip this place if you are in a rush or just want a hot soup after work, it not worth the time.

In contrast, the restaurant service in Cupertino is more reasonable and better.Very bad experience. I arrived at the restaurant at 2: 30 in the afternoon, and they said their staff had a rest. Then I asked the waiter about the time of last call, but he didn't answer me. Just tell me I only can take out. I can understand that they think that eating alone will delay their time off work. lol
