Good restaurant and great vegan options. The wait staff is very friendly and makes sure you to give explanations on food choices. I liked the food. I had the Mac and cheese, which is not super great but was decent. My husband had the jackfruit carnita burrito. The burrito was huge and easily a serving in it's own. Both tasted decent. I would come here again to try other options on the menu.

The bacon ranch fries were ok, but I think it's unfair to give this place 4 stars for their fries. I got the flautas and they were so good!!! Haven't had flautas since I stopped eating meat over a year ago. They didn't add the guacamole and it was a to go order but it was still good. The chicken drumsticks were also really yummy! This place is 6 hours away from me but I'll definitely be back the next time I'm around.

What a find! It was a big experience. I go to vegan places all the time, but it's so rare to find a good vegan place. This place is amazing! Not only is this vegan, but it's also not just Asian food. I love Asian food, but in Bay area, vegan food is almost synonymous with Asian food. This place does a great job with vegan and does everything from Pasta, Salads, Burgers, Sandwiches and some Mexican fan fare as well. We had the Dancing Broccoli and the Spicy Cicken Bahn Mi, and both were delicious. We topped the meal with a Smores Pie, and the flavor was intense. We really enjoyed our meal, and the staff was great. Only downside, this place was crowded, and it took an hour for us to finally get some food. Awesome place and a must try for vegan food.

Happy Hooligans has a lot of vegan options. Their food is a little on the pricey side. Eventhough it's vegan it is definitely junk food in the sense that you feel realpy stuffed after eating there. But if you are really hungry or share a disg with a friend it is thebperfect amount.

I ordered my food for pick up. I arrived 15 min after my order was ready ( even though it was in estimate time frame) and they were CLOSE. If you are about to close then don't take orders or give a hint!!! They never answer they phone calls and now there's no way I can get the money they charged me for their doors closed!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me???

I am vegan and I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately I can't. I have tried it a try few time just giving yet another chance . The food is not good , served sloppy and unappetizing. The interior is very sad looking . Just sad that it is the only vegan restaurant in the area and it is so bad They could have been packed non stop if only there was attention to details and a little bit more enthusiasm. Unfortunately, I will not visit this place again. I'm sorry , but these people just Don know how to cook and serve food . Sad

Went to Happy hooligans yesterday, when my best friend whose vegan was visiting and we got hungry and decided to swing by this spot. This was a bit around wait and ended up ordering: * red rooster burger - this was yummy and the sauces and jalapeño went really well together *fries - forgot the name but this was like the vegan version of animal fries and were pretty good - the portion was huge and came with the burger *cheesecake - this was okay but definitely had the cheesecake texture Knocking off 1 star bc the food was good but not super good and another star for the service. I usually don't do this, but I had to go back and forth a few times to talk to friends when ordering because the girl at front just didn't seem to properly communicate with what foods they had or not. Most of there cakes were sold out but she didn't mention it when I originally asked for my order. Once the cake was packed she didn't even let me know that was mine and let it sit at the table. Other than service though the food is not bad if you're vegan!

My first visit today. Got the Sunnyside burger and fries. The burger was GREAT !! and the fries were not. Dry - no salt and seemed like yesterdays fries. Also got the Kragen cauliflower - delish and a Thai Iced Tea. I ordered carrot cake, but they were out. Had to drive a distance to get there from where I live - but it was recommended so I wanted to check it out.

Do not go to dine in at this restaurant. Service at peak hour is extremely slow. And they serve the food in plastic containers- what it's up with that? Ironically the containers have yeh legend: "Go Green"..... when the food finally arrived, it was okay, Maybe 3 stars. but not very special. On too do that ambience is bad - located in a strip mall you can't expect much elegance. I know vegan food is rarely very good, but given the wait is not worth it. Best to order take out and pick up if you like the dishes here.

For vegan food, its gotta be one of my favorites for american style comfort food. Granted, depending on what time of day you order, the fries can be a bit well done, or too much cheese sauce, or the "nuggets" can be a bit over done, but over all the ingredients are fresh, the food is always good, and the vegan deserts will blow your mind!

Worst vegan burger I've had. Bad flavor and texture. I also ordered the burger with no pickles and it had about ten pickle slices on it, which actually were better flavor than the rest of the burger. Thousand island sauce was watery and my burger completely fell apart and was soggy. The fries had no flavor. Burger completely broke on itself, all the bun falling apart. The ranch was flavorless. My bf ordered the Mac and cheese which was edible, but that's it. The food had hardly any flavor, and the flavor it did have was mildly bad. Customer service wasn't great or friendly at all. I was really excited to try this place (especially with good looking photos of food and reviews) and would not recommend to anyone else. Also they charge extra for using card.

I have been coming here for years. Its been a staple for the area for vegan comfort food and WAS delicious. It has changed ownership a couple of times and it shows. The food was flavorful and fun and easy. My favorite was the animal-style fries and the taquitos. The last few times I have ordered it was been overly salty, not seasoned well, and the portions have been cut in half, while prices have been going up. May be inflation but it is disappointing that the food quality has not been as good. It is a cool place to go to get into veganism for someone who is curious, but I will be only having those fries only. I use to love the nachos, but I cant justify them anymore.
