This used to be one of my favorite Sushi restaurants for over 20 years... they were one of the very few places with authentic Japanese sushi chef. First time back since the pandemic was very disappointing. Extra special nigri sushi dinner for 2 for over $100 (with tip) was just awful. Not only was the rice not prepared properly (soggy and tasteless), the fish was not fresh and the portions were super small. We left hungry and disappointed. Took a glimpse into the kitchen on the way out and it was filthy. Service was excellent. Will not go back unless they make a drastic improvement.

Authentic Japanese with good fresh materials and ingredients. Cooking is nicely done. Service is excellent and wonderful. Space is a bit tight but this gives a more Japanese flavour. Highly recommended.

Had high hopes but was disappointed. I ordered the extra special chirashi which was suppose to have uni but when my dish arrived I realized they had given me the wrong order. When I inquired about it, turns out they ran out of uni and the waitress forgot to informed me prior to ordering. My husband also ordered the katsu but the food was cold and was not freshly prepared. It was also odd that they used broccoli and orange when it should be traditionally shredded cabbage and lemon. We also felt very rushed eating as they wanted us to pay before we were even done eating so the experience just went downhill.

food is a bit too pricey given its quantity. taste was good though. we got tonkatsu and gyoza lunch combo, but it was $18. also the singular broccoli they gave us was funny.

Quality of the food here is great and very authentic, though priced on the higher side. We enjoyed the sashimi and rolls. Atmosphere is very lively and the space seems best for smaller parties. It usually gets very busy during peak hours, so it's recommended to coming early to avoid waiting longer. Parking can be tough in the plaza lot but it's usually ok.
