Tried to visit tostada's this afternoon but it appears to have closed due to a death given the memorials around the building. I wish the family well.

On a spontaneous trip to San Jose we were looking for a place to eat. We had heard Tostadas was good so we went over. Because it was a weekend there was already a line to get in. We put our names down and had to wait for about 45min to get seated. It was buzzing inside and full restaurant. Though the service was slow, the server was nice. We didn't have to wait too long for our food. It was pretty good food, I think we all enjoyed it & happy with our choices. I'm intrigued to try other items in their menu.

Really good, good atmosphere, good food, friendly wait staff!I had the flautas, very good, a little heavy on the lettuce on top and they got my order wrong but it was still good.I will be back.

I came here on a Sunday evening with a couple of friends for a dinner. Below are some notes for fellow yelpers1. ParkingThere's a small parking lot right opposite this place which might suffice on weekdays/ Sundays. You might have to find street parking on weekends, which might be tough2. Vegetarian optionsAs a vegetarian, I found this place to be mostly meat-based and not have a lot of vegetarian options. The ones I did end up trying i.e. Vegan Tostadas, were honestly alright and seemed a tad flavorless3. Ambience + HygeneThey have a fairly small indoor space which is currently being used to accommodate large and small groups. Given how crowded it can get on weekends, the indoor space seemed too cramped up for such a large crowd. If you're concerned about social distancing/ visiting a place that has decent enough space for large groups, this isn't your vibe for sure 4. ServiceOur servers seemed friendly and attentive from the get-go

wow, we came for a birthday dinner on a reservation. I am thankful to not have been subject to the wait that others have posted about. Customer service was great, they checked in on us a lot, drink selection was amazing, and food was great. We got the Trompa Pastor, which was delicious, however, some slices in the middle were definitely dry. It was still overall a very satisfying and filling experience.Parking: There is a small lot behind the building. Otherwise, you’re subject to street parking. I’m not sure how strict Grocery Outlet parking is right across the street. If you park in Grocery Outlet, though, you’d be able to keep a view of your car from the restaurant.
I went here for a friends birthday dinner. Our server Robert was so friendly and such a good host. He really made us feel welcome and celebrated our friend well. The food was also great! One person in our party did not end up ordering food, but some clam chowder was brought out on the house. Thanks for the incredibly welcoming experience!

There are many Red Flags I noticed here. Let me illustrate them in brief.1. The place is really unhygienic. There are a tonne of flies and bugs I noticed flying on the booth parallel to where I was sitting.2. The service is extremely poor. I was out for a Game of Tennis and decided to go have breakfast here instead of cooking at home. The servers who were themselves wearing dirty aprons were judging me on my attire. Nobody comes to ask for drinks for like 10 mins. And then someone comes and literally bang two glasses of water on our table and runs away.3. I kept waiting for the server to come and take our orders. Nobody shows up, looking at us from a distance and being judgmental.4. I got up to leave from there. They all started looking and smiling like they wanted us to leave.This is the worst customer service I have ever seen anywhere.I personally would never go to a place like this which is so unhygienic, rude to the customers.I would not recommend taking any family member especially kids to avoid making them learn such bad attitude.

Place was nice, and good location. Ordered the shrimp tacos, carne asada tacos, kids mini pancakes.Flavor was good, was expecting better tortillas; they were stiff. The sauce on the shrimp tacos was good, super spicy!Service was okay, our waiter didn't really come around to check on us. Music was very loud.Kids mini pancakes were not mini; good portion, maybe too big for one kid.I don't think I would try this place again.

Came here with my boyfriend for Sunday dinner. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the ambiance is a mix of restaurant and club. The music is pretty loud but with just the two of us, we had no problem carrying on a conversation.We ordered the chicken and shrimp tacos with the sides of rice and beans. I also got their mango Margherita. The shrimp tacos were delicious and some of the largest tacos I've ever received at a restaurant. 6/5. The rice and beans were pretty bland and I ended up not finishing them. 1/5. The Margherita was good, I loved the mango purée. 4/5. Service was good and they kept our waters filled. Definitely would come back for the tacos again!
