Urban Momo is a Nepalese food counter within the larger San Pedro Market. This cuisine has Indian, Chinese, Burmese, and other influences (or Asian Fusion), of which Gayle and I love curry and spice. My choice was the Chicken Biryani (Indian rice dish including vegetables & rice) was well placed, while Gayle raved about her Paneer Tikka Masala (Grilled cheese cubes in red creamy sauce). Although beer would have been an excellent pairing with my dish, I chose lemonade to allow the sweetness to supplement the spice. Gayle stayed with her usual glass of Chardonnay. As the San Pedro Market is largely an ethnic food court model, we had the pleasure of sitting where we wanted to, this time outside. Service was efficient, including the use of the fob to tell us when our order was ready. It was a nice time out including Gayle's Son and his Wife.

Great food very fresh and delicious amazing customer service polite and very kind. She took my order and when I arrived there was no parking so she brought my food out to the car. Thank you so much.

Urban Momo is a popular restaurant known for its delicious momos, which are Tibetan-style dumplings filled with a variety of ingredients such as vegetables, meat, or cheese. The restaurant offers a variety of momo options, including traditional steamed momos as well as pan-fried and deep-fried varieties. In addition to momos, Urban Momo typically offers a range of other Tibetan and Nepalese dishes, such as thukpa (noodle soup), tingmo (steamed bread), and various curries and stir-fries. The restaurant is known for its flavorful and authentic Himalayan cuisine, which is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The ambiance at Urban Momo is usually casual and inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy a relaxed meal with friends or family. The restaurant's focus on fresh ingredients and traditional cooking techniques ensures that each dish is bursting with flavor and authenticity. We like vegetarian momos Overall, Urban Momo is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the delicious flavors of Tibetan and Nepalese cuisine in a warm and welcoming setting.

I ordered the chicken momos to go because I've always wanted to try momos but never had the opportunity to do so. The momos were packed with curry flavor, but it wasn't very salty? It was kind of bland. The sauces that came with were a chili sauce and a curry sauce, both were good but again did not add any salt to the dish. I would try it again, I'd like to see what it's like fresh.

First time trying this place. Had high hopes seeing the reviews but was very disappointed.Chicken momos were tasteless, hard and cold. The meat filling had dirt like texture inside which made it difficult to chewVeg noodles were blah too. TastelessThe order took forever to come on a weekday early evening when it was all empty.Wouldn’t recommend it.

We've been going here for some years now and we end up going for the Butter Chicken, Paneer Tikka Masala, and Garlic Naan. They are served in the perfect portions of rice and entree. We always order here because it's delicious and conveniently located in San Pedro Square. They make the food super fast too! We both have a cashew nut allergy and this place doesn't have cashews in their dishes, compared to other places we've gone to.

I used to crave these fishes. Weekly. Their flavor and spice on my mind. So spicy I could barely eat but the flavor was second to NONE. They traded GOD status for a milder version of chili chicken momo and chili veg mom. Now they are average. Unless there is a way to order the original recipe I've been receiving for the past couple years, I'm done here. (So that's good news for everyone who thought these dishes were too spicy. They've catered to your needs). Please give me your spicy, hot, amazing chili momos I've been bragging about to all my friends and family

Went out to San Pedro square market for dinner with the family and ordered everything from the one spot. The tikka masala fries were great but their vegetable chow mein and gobi (cauliflower) Manchurian were wildly and unexpectedly amazing. There was a rich flavor and spice in the gobi Manchurian and the vegetable chow mein was packed with fresh veggies and was perfectly flavored. We will be back for sure for these dishes and are ready to further explore the menu.

Delicious food & a local San Jose favorite! Tried the chicken curry, aloo gobi, & fried rice with naan - would highly recommend all these dishes. This comes with a big thanks from our NYU student film cast & crew! Definitely a spot worth checking out.
