Best Korean food I’ve ever had on the west coast. Very flavorful kimchi. Cozy place.

Parking: Probably at least 30 slots in close proximity. The place is in a strip mall so there are plenty more if you are willing to park and walk about 50 yards moreKid-friendliness: Definitely family friendly, but can require a wait if you are coming at peak times.

Great local Korean restaurant. The food and service are excellent. We usually get a BBQ item, Tofu soup, and the seafood pancake, plenty of food for 2 adults & 2 young kids.

Korean restaurants are notoriously bad for vegetarians, but this one is a rare exception. There are 4-5 clearly clearly marked dishes made with alternative broth. First time I've ever been able to have a Korean dish that isn't a sad bibimbap!Vegetarian options: 4-5 clearly marked, varied vegetarian options made with alternative broth. This is extreme rare for a Korean restaurant.

Really yummy food! I like the kimchi because it's very fresh. All the side dishes taste delicious. Not too expensive either. Come when it's not too busy because the inside is small.

Decided to go on a solo dine-in and was craving soondooboo. I usually never talk about the service in my reviews and only give a review on the food, but I just have to talk about the service here. Right when I walked in, it looked like they did not want me there. I just brushed it off because I thought they were busy, but the serves gave me the side eye and looked upset that I was there. They did not even welcome me and didn't even tell me that they'll seat me. I don't know if it's because I'm a party of one or they can tell I'm not Korean. When they did seat me, they did not ask me anything and slammed the menu. When they took my order, they just asked me if I wanted my soondooboo spicy with a passive aggressive tone. The service was terrible, but I gotta admit they had the best banchan I've ever had. Most notably the japchae and fish cake Beef soondooboo (5/5): Very comforting and everything you want in a Korean tofu soup. However, I felt that it was lacking some flavor and the tofu chunks were huge

Had one of my favorite Bibimbaps in the Bay Area here! I got the one on the hot stone plate. It was HOT, resulting in very crispy rice. It was also large and came with a large variety of vegetables, and tofu. I chose mine to go with chicken. The banchan provided with every meal are also wonderful! Great to mix in the bibimbap, too. The waiters were also friendly. Ambiance is great for any meal I also created a video on Instagram and TikTok (@colorful.eats)~ instagram.com/reel/CzSTz…vm.tiktok.com/ZMjWywMqp

Food is delicious here and price is reasonable. The ban chan is so fresh and tasty, and the soondubu (tofu soup) has great flavor. The bibimbap in stone pot is a huge, and my husband didn't even finish it all. I knocked down a star because although the food is exceptional, there is a lack of service. I really needed water for myself and our kids but there was no one to refill our water since the owners were so busy managing takeout orders. The line was out the door on a Sunday evening. I didn't know it would be so busy here so arrive early if you want to eat in the restaurant, but prepare for minimal service.

I have ordered a bossam to go. The food is very carefully wrapped to avoid any leakage. Also the food tastes great!

All 5 stars are for their food! Bossam was the best. Tender pork-belly, delicious radish salad with fresh oysters, the shrimp sauce and salted napa cabbage wrap = Perfection. Their seafood pancake is very crunchy, the way I like. Squid ddeokbokki was good too, though I forgot to take the photo. The service was... they take your order and bring your food and water when asked.

Try not to leave bad reviews on small family owned restaurants but this place was definitely not goodThe 2 ladies were too busy to be polite. That's understandable . The tables weren't cleaned up so the place looked really messy and unorganized as you walked in. Ordered bbq pork which was good but the 육개장 beef soup was probably the worst I had in San Jose. Very plain and too much of rice noodles in the soup. The beef was not pulled or shredded but the chunks of meat with gristles were in it.Would I go back,,, NO

Excellent food with apple portions. We especially like the seafood pancake. That is a must-have. We will definitely be back to this restaurant.
