What a great find. Don Juan Mexican Kitchen in SJC. We stopped in for drinks and an early dinner, and it was fantastic. Not your typical Mexican restaurant. They also serve sushi. The chefs are quite talented. Our server was Jonathan, and he was stellar. The place is nice and they allowed us to come with my dog, they were very friendly and even offered her water. They gave us menu recommendations and were always very attentive in service. I ordered empanadas, which I thought were very filling, my favorite was the cheese one, they were delicious although I didn't love the tinga.
