Thanks to As Kneaded Bakery, IMO San Leandro had one of the best bakeries in the world. The Pain D’Epi is amazing as is their sandwiches especially the curried cauliflower sandwich. Just perfection.
Some of the best sourdough I've ever had. The Miche is just as delicious as the breads from the best bakeries in France. Just picked up the Honey Rye Porridge and can hardly wait to have some warmed up with good grass fed butter in the morning!
