I was originally so excited about this bakery opening... Unfortunately, they have very few products that they sell. I am very confused every time I stop buy to see what pastries they are selling to only see a few croissants, some chocolates and overpriced store bought macaron cookies. It would be easy to make a 3 different flavors of Interesting and delicious cookie-dough once a week, and bake them every morning and sell them for a reasonable price and have 3 types pies available. But instead there is very little product and it's overpriced. I don't feel like this establishment is even trying to fulfill a role as a bakery. It seems more like a fake store front for some other financial purpose

Got a box of 6 macarons and they were divine. I got Earl Grey, Coffee, Chocolate, Passionfruit, Raspberry, and Salted Caramel. All were delicious, but major chef's kiss for the Passionfruit!

I can't think of a better patisserie in the Bay Area. I had many things from there, and everything was fantastic, but the cheesecake is truly amazing. I hope they can stick around in this age of pandemic. Get there early, they make relatively small quantities, or order well ahead for pickup. I ended up calling the last time I needed to order. I love this store.

Great addition to the neighborhood. Everythign I have ordered has been delicious. A neighbor who is an utterly snobbish gourmet, raves about this bakery and qualifies this bakery as having some of the best french pastries he's ever had.

Made it to Atelier Colibri today, and not a ton was left. We got a butter croissant, chocolate macaron, Black Forest cake and pineapple cheese cake. THE BEST BUTTER CROISSANT IVE HAD OUTSIDE OF FRANCE. Ok, with the exception of the croissants at Atelier Joel Rubochon in Vegas. But hey. I was not happy that my son wanted half. Anyway... I want more croissants. ASAP.

My friends and I stopped in for a treat and ordered the chocolate croissant, raisin spice scone, Madeleine, and almond tart. We were so impressed by these items! Superb taste and quality. Add in friendly service and a cute table to sit and visit and we were happy! Can’t wait to return and try some more. (And buy too many almond tarts)

Stopped by since I had parked nearby, and picked up a chocolate and plain croissant because the plain looked good and was in a mood for something chocolate - i needed the extra because this week. I like that they will give you a few cents off if you bring your own bag. The chocolate croissant was fine, but the regular croissant was great. I didn't have it until the second day after so I warmed it in the toaster oven. Such. Beautifully. Crackly. Shell. Protecting the stretchy tender holey yeasty insides. So now it's my second favorite croissant after Fournee Bakery, so next time I'll have it fresh to give it a fair test.

This little gem in San Leandro is amazing. The most amazing sweet treats baked in house by the owner who stands behind the counter. My croissant was buttery and flakey; I'll definitely go back and try all the other treats. MMMMMM

Stopped in this quaint Paris inspired delight! I was full when I stopped in... But I cannot wait to come back... Maybe with a few friends or a book! Great customer service and the selection is perfect... Very French! So happy to see a cute, quiet place like this so close to home... I did purchase a slice of marble cheese cake for my hubby... Mind you we had just come from eating across at the itea shop...the cheesecake did not survive the car ride. He was stuffed and fell alseep... We live close... When he woke up... He said the cheesecake was delicious and he wanted more! $4 well spent on dessert!

I love that this place exists in San Leandro. I have stopped in 4 or 5 times now. Pastries are good and fresh (small by american standards). Coffee is ok. Prices are a bit high. But San Leandro has a need for an independently owned, potentially classy spot like this! I have a few suggestions if they want their business to flourish in the local environment: + claim your yelp page. Like it or not this is how people find you. + you have a great location but the shop is bland and uninviting. Real classical music would be great, real ceramic coffee cups and plates too. Paper plates and creamer cups are tacky and wasteful. It's hard to charge what you do and then use disposable products. + easy adult coffee option: small French press pots (in addition to prebrewed) for people like me who want to sit in your shop with a book and a mug of something delicious. + personal charm can go a long way to developing a following... + I really hate wasted opportunities.

Super cute little place and the pastries were really tasty.

The goods at this place are amazing. I went in and grabbed a cinnamon roll, chocolate croissant, almond croissant, and a scone. The croissants were top notch, on par with anything you'd find in SF or Paris. Fantastically delicious without being greasy and heavy. The scone was an excellent biscuit dough, perfectly baked, though tbh the flavors weren't quite to my taste. Perfect execution though! The owner was working the counter and she was very friendly and helpful. Go support your locally owned business, particularly one as awesome as this!

Cute little cafe place in the Pelton Center. I have been waiting for this shop to open ever since they put their signs on. Then I forgot about it so that's why I just popped by now. It feels like a very small mom and pop shop with cute tables and chairs. It was very quiet in there and didn't smell particularly like a bakery or like coffee. However, we did see coffee served and a small selection of baked goods on display behind the glass. There is a refrigerated area where napoleon, macarons, and cake were displayed. Then there was a table top area where butter croissants, sweet filled croissants, and other tea cakes were shown. We had the napoleon (pretty good, could be more flaky) and also the sponge cake with cherry (tasted slightly like a madeline, but drier). I think this place has potential and I would like to try a croissant. The fact that we went here at 11:30am and didn't smell baking makes me wonder how early these were baked.

Located in the Pelton Center in downtown SL. The place was rather empty when I popped in and nothing really caught my eye. I scrolled through the yelp reviews of this place and there didn't seem to be consensus for the "signature dish" I typically look for. Picked up a piece of Pecan Pie for $3.80 How was it? Just o.k. but not anything I'd go out of my way for. I think it's a 2.5 star to 3 star venue for me. If you like my reviews, consider "following" my profile for reviews all across the SF Bay Area. Why "follow" someone? It causes the person you follow's reviews to tier to top when you pull up a business. I find this very handy when researching venues. Also have a link on my profile page to my newly created gram. Rod's Review grading scale explained. Essentially I personally base it on the likelihood of a return visit and I try to be stingy with 5 star reviews since they should be "special" in my eyes. Price/Value also play a role. Just because a steak is $75 doesn't make it a 4 or 5 star venue nor does a $1 taco unless it's delicious. 5 stars - "I'll go out of my way" (approx 6 % of my reviews) 4 stars- "If I was in the area I'd go here and would recommend", (approx 38% of my reviews) 3 stars "Maybe if was nearby", (approx 37% of my reviews) 2 stars -"Would likely not return, Only if you want to go", (approx 16% of my reviews) 1 star -"No thanks, even if I was hungry", (approx. 3 % of my reviews)

The quest is over. The pastries you've been craving since you got back from Paris are right here in San Leandro. Whether you get a morning bun, a croissant, or any other flaky, buttery offering, make sure you hide it from your date so you don't have to share one crumb of that dreamy French goodness.
