Rude staff. Hovers and acts like you’re loitering if you are waiting for a date. Invasive. Refused to let my five year old use the restroom when she had to go badly.

The atmosphere in here is absolutely lovely and the staff is so nice! They have very good sandwiches, but I always get a bagel sandwich. A great place to do some work, read book, or just chill with a friend. Def try out one of their drinks!

Food was good but I requested for a chai latte with oatmilk (I always order an oatmilk chai everywhere I go and have never had a problem). The drink overall did not taste right. I requested if they could change it for normal milk or soy, and the lady said I would have to repurchase another drink in order to get a new drink. I was disappointed overall because cafes normally have no problem changing your drink! I've had great experiences with those who have accommodated my requests or if I'm not happy with my drink, can change my drink. But they had told me since they made it already Id need to buy a new one. The chai they have is a simple boxed chai you can grab from Safeway for $4-5, so I just didn't understand why they couldn't have made me a new one. :( Customer service overall was 0/10.

Café Sorriso 1501 Washington Ave San Leandro, CA 94577 (510) 351-3605 September 09, 2023. I love having "Me" breakfast time. A break from my dogs and before I start my weekend mornings of errands and to do's. Standard coffee. I ordered egg, ham sandwich everything on its bagel. It was delicious, fairly amount of eggs and ham. I noticed when a couple came in with their kid, she stopped midway of making the sandwich and proceed to take their orders, then proceeded to make their specialty coffees. Granted I saw that my sandwich was 99.9% percent done and all it needed was to pop in the toaster oven. But I guess regular customer gets preferences and priorities. I asked her if there is a time policy regarding customers and working at the café. "Two hours and you must order drink and foods." OK! Like I was just going to go to the café and use their resources and not order anything? One of the coffee carafes was low on coffee and only spurting coffee here and there. The Dark Roasted coffee carafe. I walked back to the counter and let her know, her reply was use the other coffee, she may not make it for another 10 minutes. There were only 3 people in the café, and she could have the time to check it if it still full or empty? And I did not want nor to drink the medium blend coffee. If this is the case, I would take my own coffee next time and just order off the food menu. Even if it's a coffee gas station style, please at least make sure it is clean, fully restock and coffee full. They have a small parking lot but otherwise pay n park. Not a big deal to me. Outside patio seating areas with outdoor heater if needed for those cold fall and winter mornings. Yes! I will come back; I believe in supporting local businesses. They do have an aesthetically pleasing set up. **ADVISE: Treat your customers equally-whether they are your regulars or non. I am still a paying customer and would like to support your local business and recommend it as well.

First time coming here. I got the everything bagel breakfast sandwich and it was pretty bland and had seeds on it that tasted like black licorice. I got a regular drip coffee and it's exactly what you would get at a gas station. After I ordered, the owner tossed the premade sandwich in the microwave, didn't say two words to me, and when it was done just yelled for me to come get it and sat my coffee cup on the counter (coffee is self-serve containers like the gas station). I was the only person in the shop. Disappointing :(

Delicious bagels! We got bacon, egg and cheese bagels with mocha and cappuccinos. The outside patio was perfect! We sat in the shade beside a beautiful bougainvillea. Listened to the light traffic go by. Perfect way to spend a leisurely Sunday morning.

The dumpling soup is very good. The lady could be friendlier. Grumpy and isn't friendly . Only nice to regular customers. The coffee is decent, the cafe and outside porch make a pleasant ambience . All things considered , good place for a light lunch or morning coffee

Great little family owned café in a converted house, and very reasonably priced. Also has outdoor seating.

I ordered by phone, two chicken wonton soup, an order of shrimp summer rolls and an order of imperial rolls. Thankful the cafe is just around the corner from me. Flavor and freshness was on point! I loved it all especially the wonton soup- hot and savory! I will definitely be back to try more menu items... I'm sure it'll be delicious!

Love this place. Breakfast bagels are really good. They season the eggs (many places dont) so it makes it all that more delicious. Friendly staff. Ice white mochas and their coffee is delicious.Parking: Lots if parking on site.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible and cozy.
