BEST CHICKEN WINGS! And now they are closed! Been going here for 15+ years. Hopefully they will re open.

I drove by on Saturday, February 18th at 2:00pm and they were closed. I tried calling their number and let it ring 20 times with no answer. I did a search online and saw a listing that they were temporarily closed. There was no reason given.I hope that the owners are well. This place has been my go to for Chicken Wings for at least ten years.

This review is only for their chicken wings. 10/10. Would recommend. For any occasion.

EDIT: I think they are out of business since someone below said they saw a final notice of nonpayment from PG&E on the front door. I placed a catering order of 160 pieces of chicken wings (2 of the large party trays) about 2 weeks in advance in early Dec. I tried to call several times the week before my order to confirmbut no one picked up. When I arrived to pick it up mid Dec, they told me the restaurant was closed and that the chef had been out sick. I asked them why would they still take my order and not give me a call back to say my order could not be fulfilled. Honestly I think because they're going out of business, they don't have incentive to perform.

My go-tos: dried fried chicken wings and salt and pepper spare ribs. I don't think I have ever ordered anything else from here. Timing is a hit or miss. I always give them an hour, especially on game days because they get bombarded with orders. Sometimes their oil is old and their food suffers because of it, but besides that, never really any issues.

I came here and ordered 2 orders of fried chicken wings (1 spicy & 1 regular). I was told that my order would take 30 min. This was around 2pm on a Sunday. When my order was ready, I grabbed my food and left. As for the flavor, the meat was bland but the coating was loaded with salt. It was so salty that I had to eat it with rice and drink lots of liquid just to water down the sodium. If you're trying to cut back on sodium, don't order this dish.

I go here for their chicken wings! It has a great flavor that people come back for. This is a total fast food looking spot, not a dine in location. The line here takes a while because I think it's one of those hidden gems that people seem to know about. Most people would think, "Canton Express"? Sounds cheap and completely Americanized, but don't knock it till ya try it. And if you do, try the chicken!Their fish had good flavor, but I'll say the batch we got tasted a bit stale :(

This place is very different - in fact, a bit odd! It's a very small store front but when you enter, there are no steam tables, no kitchen in view and no real tables set up for patrons - just a few chairs for customers to sit while waiting for their "to go" order/s.It's not a 'sit down' nor ready made, hot food buffet offering. It's really a 'cook to order' place. Nothing is prepared in advance. They make make it for you when you give them an order by phone or in person.I was expecting 'ready made' so I was caught off guard. Having no experience with how the food is, I decided to get just one item to go as a sample of their kitchen talents. What I got was Spicy Chicken Wings. I added it to the other items I picked up from Best BBQ Chinese Food and Cai You Kee Chinese delis. My wife and I had a late lunch when I got home. The Chicken Wings from here were excellent - light, crispy breading with moist, tender, full-flavored with just a hint of spicy heat. We liked it a lot. The price was right, too - $10.95 for a large carton of it.Jim

We have customers of this place for many years. Always have loved their chicken and our friends and family love it too. However, was so disappointed with the service. We went to go pick up an order that my sister had ordered. We had receipt in hand but need a name who ordered it. I gave my sister's name and number but was not the name. I gave my sister's number and her husband's name and number. They would not give us the order because it was not the right name. We had receipt and showed paid. They said they needed the name but my sister was at the funeral and we could not reach her. We have been customers for over 20 years and have never experienced such poor customer service. Not sure if we will ever go back.

I heard so much good things about this place on Yelp. It's actually pretty far from where I live but I decided to just go around since I was craving chinese food. Ordered the Sesame beef lunch special with fried rice and the chicken wings, since everyone was raving about it. Chicken was pretty good, but I'm not a big fan of the batter. Maybe since I've grown up with this style of chicken batter my whole life and I was never a big fan of it. It's the puffy style, where it's more on the exterior than the actual chicken. Like in theory you can peel off all the batter and you would have a perfectly intact piece of chicken under it. That's just me personally/ My actual biggest issue was the fried rice they gave me. I was starving and the Sesame Beef was genuinely delicious, absolutely wonderful take on the dish and it's flavor, if I ever came back it'd be for their meat dishes including this. But the fried rice they gave me was practically uncooked. It was hard a rock, as if they just stir fried rice grains and not rice. Maybe they were really busy and had to rapidly cook a fresh batch of rice or something? I did see a ton of huge party tray for take out. But the rice they gave me honestly just tasted like uncooked rice grains. My mother was even grossed out by and said it still needed to be cooked.

I have eaten here before but the food tasted bad. The chow mein tasted moldy. I got noodles that were not cooked so they were dried, uncooked. I had to throw the food away. The food was really disappointing, and I won't come back here.

Smaller location but they have the best fried fish and chicken in the East Bay
