Beautiful spot with lots of outdoor seating. Attentive staff and great selection of beer!

Great beer! I loved hanging with friends here and sampling the various brews. My favorites were juicy hoot and unholy alliance.

Corporate sellouts!

Drakes doesn't care about the community it serves and pulled out sponsorship of a community event in Oakland. Take your hard earned money and support 1 of the 5 breweries that stepped up for the community.Altamonte, original pattern, canyon club, line 51, almanac and two pitchers.

They bailed as a sponsor last minute on Oakland Fans fest, total bush league move. Don't support them as they don't support Oakland fans.

Beer wA's bad

Horrible what they did to A's fan fest - leaving the fans responsible for the financial tab they drew up in preparation for their sponsorship. Evil.

All these 1 star reviews when this place is awesome... Oakland at its finest! Stay classy Oakland

Pulling out of community events is never a good look. Pulling out of an event just 3 days before said event is even worse. There's plenty of other great breweries in the area. Avoid these guys.

We have some unfortunate news and are disappointed to announce Drakes Brewery has pulled their sponsorship, only three days before Fans Fest. LDB/68’s have incurred expenses purchasing sponsor banners, a digital marketing package and had rented equipment to set up a Drakes beer booth but are now left with no Drakes beer to serve and banners we will have to be recreated and printed just days before the event. They were our first beer sponsor, and we were so thrilled to announce them. The announcement of their support and sponsorship of Fans’ Fest was very well received by the Oakland 68’s and Last Dive Bar’s combined 30k+ followers across social media platforms. Unfortunately to see that support not come to fruition is very, very disheartening. These fans don’t deserve another beloved “community favorite” turning their backs on them. Our coordinating team were only provided with “unforeseen circumstances” as a reason as to why they were pulling their sponsorship. They have not provided any further details despite us seeking further clarification via email. For every sponsor supporting Fans Fest a digital media package is created for each one. Posters and banners were made. For beer sponsors, equipment is rented as well.#2024FansFest #Bloc15Oakland #JackLondonSquare #Oakland #FansFest #Bloc15 #LastDiveBar #Oakland68sA post event coffee table memory book is already in production and will now have to be edited, re formatted and submitted again.
These guys are flakey and unreliable sponsors. The beer is good but clearly the folks in the office are terrible community liaisons. Good news: there are plenty of other great East Bay breweries. Avoid buy kegs and be wary if they ever promise to sponsor or attend an event.

Five Stars for the IPA and the 1500. I have been coming here from the beginning almost and it is consistently a comfortable place for a pint.

Pretty good. Nice people. Not a drinker so I can't say anything about that. But I'd come again

Pretty cool. Good well known beers and some local favorites as well. Pulled pork sandwich was great ?

Excellent spot before an A's game. We've often come here for food and drinks, and it's a short Uber ride to the stadium. Ordering food and drinks can be done from your phone, and service is really prompt. Lots of space, both indoor and outdoor. Drake's beer speaks for itself - if you haven't tried Hopocalypse it's a tasty hazy DIPA staple, give it a shot. Like many breweries, they've embraced the Hazy craze, but not just for the sake of sales, their hazies are excellent. They've added Juicy Hoot and Hazing Saddles and I enjoyed both. If you're not a Hazy person, there are plenty of choices - pils, hefe, stout, lagers, sours - pick your poison. The tater tots are a good compliment to the beer selection. When the A's pack up for Vegas, I'll surely find another excuse to head up for some good beer and food.
