Great place to hang out, have snacks or a meal. Recommend bringing a beer geek with you to sift through the multitude of beery offerings. They have an impressive selection of "old school" beers in bottles: barleywine (above average), imperial stout (multiple varieties), and Belgian dubbel (also above average). Not much for the kids to drink, though my 11 and 14 each found something decent. The Caesar salad is the best I've ever had, the pizza is decent, and the service is good.Demerits for the bench seating with no backs for the Over 40 crowd, the minimal kid drink selection, and it can be difficult to find parking nearby on the weekends.

Nice place to hang out with a large group. Bring a sweater.

A fairly big place, big groups can be accommodated. They have shaded areas and gas fire places. Interesting beer selection, constantly rotating. Food is good. San Leandro needs more places like this. The area is less shady and kind feels safe. Parking can be a challenge. They have bike racks inside the fenced off area. Will return.

Walked in at 12:50 pm, on a Friday afternoon, and there were only around ten people in the main dining area. I noticed that there were scannable menus at each table, so without interacting with any employee, I ordered a delicious pulp draft ($8.00) and a classic pepperoni pizza ($20.00). The ambiance of this main area was awesome compared to any other pizza place I've ever been, and I've been to quite a few.I loved the view, the pizza, and the solitude, wondering why the place wasn't full of people. I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but based on my overall experience, Fieldwork Brewing in San Leandro is truly a ? dining (and drinking) experience.

You can say it means field work as in working out of the office but as a farmworkers child I see racism and a caste system.

I can't imagine not knowing what a Canadian license is but at least have the decency to look it up before denying people with valid IDs service

The beer, and food is great. The staff is about 3-4 out of five. The padded seating against the window is awsome! However the furniture by the fire pits suck! You guys, purchase the same padded seats for the fire pits! Get with it......

10/10 best pizza I've personally had8/10 beers I wish among the craft brewery beers they have that they had a very basic beer like a modelo or corona.10/10 ambiance vibe is really cool inside

Huge place in San Leandro. Bigger and more spacious than the one I usually go to in San Ramon. Same good food, vibes, and service (order from a QR menu). We had 2 babies in our party and no one said anything. One thing to remember though is that the outdoor area might look fully covered but when the rain is pouring down it is definitely not! On a sunny day I can see it being quite the Vibe.

The drinks are top-notch, and the pizza is a must-try. Loved it so much that I bought 2 packs before leaving.

We made an order online that was to be ready in 30 minutes. When we arrived we were told they were backed up and that it would be an additional 30 minutes. We unfortunately had to cancel our order. The staff was SUPER nice and accommodating. We will return soon to have their delicious pizza again.

I'd give this place a 4.5/5 if I could because every once in a while I'll have strange service that is an outlier from the rest. One time I was there to watch the Dubs game and the bartender turned the TV's off during crunch time because they closed at 9 (it was like 8:45). I get it but also... read the room, we gave them good business that night too!Beer is extremely good, they have good rotations but also keep the staples. I do like that they offer wine as well for my SO and friends who aren't beer drinkers. Their QR online tab system is a 5/5, no complaints there and it works exactly how it should.Food is great! I really like the "pizza bread" they do which is basically just pizza crust dough sprinkled with parmesan and olive oil. It's a deal for $2-3 only. The deep dish pizza is yummy, and the wings are pretty good too. I've had 2-3 types of their pizza and all of them are enjoyable. Not the cheapest food/brews but what is these days? I will have to check out their other locations soon.

Fieldwork is definitely one of my favorite Bay Area breweries. I was excited when they announced their opening in San Leandro eons ago. (This review is severely overdue.) I've been here several times to either enjoy a few pints or pick up brews for the house. Pulp is definitely one of my faves. Their parfaits are really good, unfortunately I can't handle too much lactose. I loved their slashes during the summer and I'm hoping they have some heavy stout releases for the winter. Pizzas and apps are pretty delicious. The wings unfortunately are not my favorite as there's no crisp to them. I usually like to do a few tasters and then pick a pint from there. Or I go with the consistently good Pulp. Seating is abundant on the patio, although the roof stays open year round. So the spots near the firepit are unavailable if it's been raining. Service is friendly, but if it's crazy busy, it can be slow. Parking is always a challenge in the lot, I'd recommend taking ride share or parking on the street and walking.

Nice hangout spot, especially in the patio area in front of the fireplace. I'd say it's cozy, but I wish there were games like cornhole, darts, or table games to play while enjoying all the different drinks.
