Frank's Sports Bar and Grill is an awesome place that you have to visit. My guests and I l enjoyed a delicious meal and good time at this venue. It has plenty of parking and is located immediately next to the railroad track off Marina Blvd.My experience started with finding a convenient parking space within its own clean and orderly parking lot. Pride of ownership and management was visible throughout. It had well marked parking spaces with plenty of handicap spaces. Entry was side and welcoming and free of stairs.Depending on which door you enter through, the space inside is cavernous and tables and chairs are well spaced out. Wheelchair using guests will not have any trouble getting around in here.A full and well stocked bar was located at the North end of the building while the kitchen was at the West side. The kitchen turned out to be a, seemingly, seperate business called "Porque no? Tacos." it has a vast menu of food items. Everything we tried was overflowing with flavor and obvious care in its presentation. The chips were thick and perfectly seasoned and their salsas, OMG, they were the bomb (delicious).Everything ordered was delicious just as they arrived. However, because of their amazing salsas, every taste was magnified. You order at the counter and get a numbered marker. The food is brought to your table bring shortly after. The staff was friendly and welcoming both at the bar and the kitchen. We lucked out that night, it was a Wednesday night. As we ate and dranked we learned that the place was having karaoke that night. We stayed for that and joined in.Jose, the KDJ was friendly and welcoming and seemingly able to play anything requested (except explicit song - some families were having dinner). The system used for karaoke was impressive and filled the place with sound without overwhelming it. We could easily enjoy our conversation and those singing without any problems.Bottom line, I highly recommend visiting this place. Wednesday night Karaoke was a blast with a mix of English and Spanish singing crowd. You will likely enjoy it as much as we did. Thanks Frank's.

Today was my first visit here and it won't be my last. The chilaquiles are outstanding and by far, the BEST I've had in my 50+ years of eating Mexican food. Absolutely delicious! The staff is very friendly and kind. Such a great find!! I'm looking forward to trying more food!

Was looking for a solid sports bar and came across this place. Drinks were decently priced and bartenders were friendly. They were showing both Warriors and Nfl games with audio. Love it! Didn't try the food but it looked good and many others were consuming it. Hope to come back and eat while I enjoy sports.

There's been a Frank's at this space since 1990, and in 2019 they refreshed themselves into their current sports bar iteration. Thankfully, they've survived Covid and, from a recent visit, appear to be alive and kicking again.I stopped by with a friend on a weekend evening and the venue was about 80% full, with a super diverse, friendly, low-key crowd. The venue also appeared to be family-friendly given the presence of Porque No? Tacos, a former pop-up serving delicious tacos and Mexican fare that now operates out of their kitchen space, via a separate tab/register.As for drinks, beer and cocktails at the bar were reasonably priced, and service was friendly and efficient. As someone who lived in the Bay Area for many years, I miss places like these where folks from diverse backgrounds can come together in a welcoming, inclusive, no-nonsense environment. Here's to many more years of Frank's!

TIFFANY the bartender here is very rude... so sad to be leaving this review for this place because I love this bar AND the food but this bartender needs to be exposed. I have talked with the manager before and nothing has seemed to change with her attitude and service. I work in the area and come to this bar in my off time. I sometimes come on days she is not working just to avoid her and the horrible service she gives but she works the popular days, Thursday & Fridays. I have taken multiple friends to this place and they all have said the same thing without me having to even say anything. She is so rude for no reason:(and will purposely try to make you feel uncomfortable , forcing you to leave.

This is not a Sports Bar any longer unless there's a Raiders game on. It's more of a Latin dance club. I have really liked this place over the years and they've always had the games on. The past several months(6-12) when games are on in the evening and the bar manager is there or even when she gets off work and hangs out afterwards, she blasts Latin Dance music, and sometimes so loud you can't hear yourself talk. At first I thought it was a one time thing, then it happened again and again and again. Recently during MNF and the ALCS she insisted on having the tvs on the spanish news (which normally would be OK, I speak fluent Spanish and like to watch the news too--but it's supposed to be a Sports Bar and 2 very important games were on) After several polite requests to put the games on I was able to get them on the TVs but that was only after she finished her shift. She then blasted Latin dance music so loud that we couldn't hear ourselves or the bar tender speak. I asked politely again 2 separate times if they could turn down the music as it was deafening, but both times the volume of the music stayed the same. It wasn't the current bartender, it was the larger lady who seems to be the bar manager and was done with her shift. I really want to like Franks and have gone here for years but I cannot and will not ever come here again to watch a game. If I want to listed to blasting Dance music I'll go to a Dance Club. It shouldn't be called Franks Sports Bar any longer, because it simply isn't a sports bar anymore. Unfortunately the old Franks is gone.

I stopped by on Sunday morning at 11am when they opened and the parking lot was almost full. I think they have about 12-15 parking spots, plus another 3 in front of the bar, and plenty along Marina blvd. The bar itself is pretty spacious inside and they have fans going so its cool.Service is great; the girls that work there are nice and attentive. I came here specifically for the Chilaquiles, which i've never had in the U.S.They serve the chilaquiles with scrambled eggs, so i asked for overeasy. It comes with a very thick, chunky kind of salsa, which was poured over the tortilla chips, with eggs on top, cotija cheese, sour cream and red pickled onion. Its a good dish, but it is a bit spicy. Total for chilaquiles and a large orange juice came to $30.00.I'll definitely be back to try the breakfast burrito.. stay tuned!

The food is very good, especially the super taco and the chilaquiles with chorizo. The atmosphere is clean and pleasant with booths on each side and tables in the middle. You order from the board and place your order at the counter and they bring your order to the table.

Great chill, old school sports bar located towards the San Leandro Marina...spacious, friendly bar staff (Jenna), reasonably priced drinks, and Porque No? Tacos serving food (a tad pricey but good) within Frank's Sports Bar and Grill.Spot is lively but not loud! Nice for weekday happy hour, watching sports, karaoke Wednesdays and brunch on the weekend. Small private lot with street parking available on the side parallel to the railroad tracks.
